"nsfw_checker" switch only works until you actually top up credits, then suddenly you previous running API calls got "500 internal error " or "422:Content flagged for: sexual"

I'm calling seadance i2v APIs to be specific.

Been having great results using KIE.AI sandbox and with automation services. $5.00US for 1000 usage credits work great and is cheaper than most other systems. Credits don't expire and no monthly commitments required. You pay for what you use. Sure there are failures with most services I tried especially when it comes to Sora. As for the rest, KIE.AI is stable, usable, well documented and developer friendly.

I reached out to their support with an issue that I was completely wrong about, accusing them that my credit card was charged without authorization. I was wrong, they were right. They replied fast and stayed positive and helpful until I realized my mistake.

As for the platform itself, it's really cool and easy to use

I strongly do not recommend kie.ai. Their Sora 2 API is plagued with constant outages and reliability issues. The pattern is painfully predictable: they fix things for a single day, and then the exact same failures resurface the next day. This isn’t a rare hiccup it’s ongoing instability that makes the service completely unusable for anything serious or production-ready.

Support only seems responsive during Asia time zones, which is incredibly frustrating if you’re operating elsewhere. When the API breaks (which it frequently does), you’re left waiting with no meaningful updates or resolution. Overall, this service has been nothing but headaches, wasted time, and broken workflows. If you need a dependable AI video API, look elsewhere kie.ai is not reliable. Absolutely horrible.

Like for real..This is the worst ai service..You get some results sometimes, but mostly you will get som error messages everytime. No option for support or money back.

Complete scam. Stuck processing for 24 hours, no refund, no support.
Paid for a subscription. Uploaded my image. Got stuck at 99% "generating" forever. Then an error. Tried contacting support—nothing. Radio silence. They charged me but won't generate videos or respond to anything.
Don't waste your money. This is a ripoff.
