Absolute great kilt. Fitted and customized and with my family tartan perfectly. Amazing craftsmanship, wool fabric and top notch quality. Also, the website configuration, selection (I had 3 choices of my family tartan to chose), ordering and delivery experience was great. Worth every penny.

This company is an absolute mess. Their customer service is god awful. Things that haven’t turned up in the package of the kilt outfit deal with absolutely no contact from them if these items were out of stock and when checking the website I would still be able to buy the missing things so they’re not updating their stock on the website. Shipping delays even after paying express shipping. Some of the items that did turn up are dirty even though they’re in packaging. Seems like a scam company. Especially when they don’t accept returns after they’re the ones that messed up! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. ITS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE FROM THEIR UTTERLY INCOMPETENT STAFF!!

In the past few months I have purchased two kilts from kiltexperts.com. One was for my 11 year old grandson and the other was for my son-in-law. The material was quality, the fit was great and the delivery was faster than expected. Bottom line: Couldn't be happier and would recommend kiltexperts.com to anyone. Thank you!

My kilt was ordered as my second kilt. I can definitely say Kilt Experts was worth the effort in buying from. The kilt looks fantastic. It's cost was reasonably cheaper than where I bought my first kilt from. Their package deals are amazing. I had sent a couple of emails to ask questions I had. They responded promptly within 24hrs both times. They shipped and delivered everything in the window time frame they stated. Well pleased with them all around. Will not hesitate to recommend them to others and will use them again for myself. I received my kilt and other items and I was extremely disappointed. I specifically ordered an 8 yard kilt because I already have number of 5 yard kilts and wanted a fuller 8 yard kilt to wear to wedding. They shipped me a 5 yard kilt although I had been charged for an 8 yard kilt. I asked how I could return the full order at their cost and to confirm I would receive a full refund.
To advertise an 8 yard kilt option to then charge for an 8 yard kilt and ship a 5 yard kilt is nothing short of false advertising and theft.

Their response was:
I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your order.

The kilt you received is our 8-yard style kilt with deep pleats. It is not made using a full 8 yards of fabric. This information is reflected in the product style.

Your kilt was also custom made to your requested 22" length instead of the standard 24" length, so it is a personalised item rather than a standard stock product.
Based on the information and the item supplied, we do not believe there is a fault with the kilt.

I then sent them a copy of their website statement that sates an 8 yard kilt is made from 8 yards of 16oz heavyweight kilt fabric.

Their response:
Hi thanks for your message. . If you want to keep i give you £10. Or you can return it. 

My response:
I do not want to keep any of it I want a full refund and instructions to return ALL of the items to you at your cost.

Their response
Thank you for your message. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

We can send you a replacement kilt. If you are still not satisfied, you may return both kilts for a full refund.

Alternatively, if you would prefer to keep the order, we can offer you a £25 partial refund as compensation.

Please let us know which option you would like to choose.

On looking for a full tartan kilt (in honour of my father) for my wedding vows renewal, I came across Kilt Expert & was impressed with the Outfit wedding deal they offered. At first I thought is this a too good too be true deal. Well its definitely a amazing deal. The help & advice you get when ordering was a big help, how & where to measure, how long for the kilt to be to fit right. Once the order was placed you get a second email to confirm measurements with pictures before they make your outfit. When we contacted them with a query they responded within 24hours (I am in the UK) answering every question. When our order arrived (my brother ordered aswell) about 3 weeks, the outfit was of very high quality, from the kilt, shirt, socks & shoes. We were very impressed.
We couldn't recommend Kilt Expert highly enough, you get a high standard first class service with one the best customer service I've dealt with. Can not thank then enough & it really made our special day even more special. John Crosbie

I recently ordered the Complete Outfit Wedding Kilt Deal from Kilt Experts, and unfortunately my experience was far from smooth. While I did eventually receive a refund, it took far more effort than should ever be required from a customer.

The quality of the outfit I received was noticeably below the standard advertised: stitching defects, visible loose threads, incorrect sizing, and a fabric weight that did not match the description. These were not minor issues — the outfit was simply not suitable for its intended purpose.

What made the situation worse was the company’s handling of the return. Despite their website clearly listing a UK return address, they repeatedly insisted that I send the items back to Pakistan, something never mentioned in their policy. They also tried to claim the outfit was “custom‑made” and therefore non‑returnable, even though every item arrived with standard size-number stickers, clearly indicating off‑the‑shelf stock.

I had to push back firmly, reference consumer rights, and provide screenshots of their own website before they accepted the return to the UK address. Only after the package was delivered — with full documentation included — was my refund finally processed.

While I did get my money back in the end, the process felt unnecessarily obstructive. Customers shouldn’t have to fight this hard to exercise basic consumer rights. My experience suggests caution when ordering from this company, especially if you expect straightforward returns or accurate product descriptions.

I was so pleased with every thing associated with this order that I even ordered more! The customer service was prompt and exceptional. The quality of the fabric was excellent. It was so great that I ordered more. I am so excited to finish my Lindsay family quilt!

Loved it! Was stopped numerous times at the Scottish Festival and asked where I got my outfit.

Great price, Great Kilt (my first one) and the shipment arrived sooner than expected in great shape. I am enjoying wearing my new Kilt!

I can only say the kilt was well made and if I had ordered a 5 yard kilt I would have been very happy with the product and service.
However , I ordered and paid for an 8 Yard Kilt and was sent a 5 yard Kilt. When I challenged this I was given excuses that an 8 yard kilt would have been too bulky for the size. Absolute nonesense size 40" is not a small size. They also charged the price for an 8 yard kilt and did not send the flashes that I ordered and paid for. Initial response to my email challenging the order was quick but as soon as I pushed back and did not accept their ludicrous excuses and requested they fulfilled the order as placed and asked how i could return the 5 yard kilt to them at their cost they did not respond.
After posting a my first review on Trust Pilot rating 1, they contacted me and asked that I change my review. I have now received a full refund and was told to keep the 5 yard kilt that I had I recived. It was just a pity that it was only after posting my 1 star review that I received the response I expected from the start when the issues were not of my making.

The quality was more than I expected & even though I didn't input the hip sizes etc. It was still a perfect fit.
Took a while to arrive but only to expected when mailed from USA.
