I purchased a car from Kiss Cars about a month ago, and at the time of sale only one key was available. I was assured that the second key would be located and passed on to me once found. While I was hopeful, I wasn’t entirely certain…but I’m pleased to say the team delivered on their promise.

The second key was provided as soon as it became available, which really reflects their honesty and commitment to good customer service. The sales team were excellent throughout, and the aftercare has been just as impressive.

Overall, a great experience…the car has been spot on, and the service has been even better. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kiss Cars to anyone looking for a reliable dealership.😊

Good purchase experience, but disappointing aftercare. Kiss Cars refused to acknowledge the Consumer Rights Act after a major breakdown.

I purchased a 2016 Peugeot 308 from Kiss Cars in September 2025. Within five months of ownership, the car developed a significant diesel leak.

An inspection at a local garage confirmed the main fuel pipe had failed because it was incorrectly secured and had been rubbing against the chassis. This is a clear mechanical defect. Despite the repair costing nearly £500 and the fault being a latent mechanical issue developing within the first 6 months of ownership, Kiss Cars flatly refused to help at all. They have completely ignored the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which assumes faults appearing within 6 months were present at the time of sale. I offered reasonable compromises, including a refund of a service plan I bought from them, but all were rejected.

Their "Aftercare" team claimed it is my responsibility and that issues like this fall under general wear and tear, stating "fuel pipes can fail due to age, corrosion, road conditions, or external factors, especially on vehicles of this age and mileage." I wonder when fuel pipes started to be on a par with brake pads or tyres as consumable wear-and-tear items? A fuel pipe is meant for the life of a vehicle, and the car I bought had a clear service history, 73k miles, and an MOT with no advisories. You do not expect a fuel leak on a car like that, and if you do, then I have serious questions regarding the quality of the MOT provided.

If you buy from here, be aware that their "aftercare" ends the moment you leave the forecourt. I am now forced to pursue this through the County Court to recover my costs. This is a very disappointing experience from a dealer that claims to value its reputation, and it makes me sad because everything was great during the purchase. The dealer was even considerate enough to give me a discount on major labour (timing belt replacement) that I was aware needed doing. And this is exactly what is wrong about this situation. The timing belt was a known maintenance item I paid for. Meanwhile, the fuel leak was an unknown mechanical defect that the dealer is legally responsible for the first 6 months, and yet somehow it is only my problem. Now I feel betrayed and have completely lost my trust. Not having a safe vehicle to drive for two weeks has caused me substantial trouble and additional out-of-pocket expenses.

They sell the idea of being a reliable local garage with these 2-year service plans, but how can you rely on them if they leave you stranded when your vehicle becomes a safety hazard? Their response was essentially, "the vehicle is old, it's your problem now." How can I trust their servicing or the MOTs that were supposed to locate issues like this?

I still hope my last attempt to find a compromise will be successful. If you want to build a reliable and trusted brand, you should try to amend the situation, not leave your customer to deal with a problem alone.

I had a fantastic experience purchasing…

I had a fantastic experience purchasing my new car (Kia Sportage), and a huge part of that was thanks to Marcus. From start to finish, he was a pleasure to deal with - friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions with patience, and made what can often be a stressful experience feel easy and enjoyable. I never felt rushed or pressured, and Marcus made sure I was completely comfortable and happy every step of the way. I couldn’t be happier with my car or the service I received. Highly recommend!

5 star service ALWAYS!!

Myself and my partner have just purchased our second car from Kiss Cars, the first car was bought pre Covid and I can honestly say it was such a decent car! Only reason I’m changing it now is because we wanted something bigger and newer. Everyone at Kiss Cars are so friendly, helpful and not pushy at all. They go above and beyond and their customer service is 5 star. My new car has got a new MOT, service and had a vehicle health check which puts my mind at ease. They even came to collect me from the train station as I am not local.

Overall I cannot fault Kiss Cars, I am a returning customer and will be a customer for life!

Love my new car but not satisfied with the customer service and approach taken to knock down the value of my part/exchange.

I purchased a Skoda Octavia VRS from Kiss Cars in December 2025. I spoke to Marcus prior to arriving and was offered £4500 for my 2014 Mercedes E220 estate which I accepted. Marcus said “I’ll give you four and a half grand without even looking at it”. I did explain that the vehicle was very hairy inside due to me having three dogs to which I was told “don’t worry we have valeters”.

Unfortunately when I arrived they did the typical salesman approach to the car and moaned about the dog hair and then said the clutch was high. I was then knocked down to £2750 to account for this alleged clutch replacement. I felt forced to accept this offer as I couldn’t drive 50 miles home in my new car and take my old car with me too. I don’t think it is professional to offer a purchase price on the phone without looking at a vehicle as it gets customers hopes up.

Before leaving Kiss Cars I asked how long it would take to be paid for my old car (which did have some outstanding finance). Marcus told me 2-3 hours. Unfortunately it took 6 days! This caused us a lot of stress due to Christmas being so close. I understand that Kiss Cars needed to have confirmation from the finance company that they had received the payment and the balance was £0 however they had the car there so I don’t see why they couldn’t pay me my part of the money quicker. I think it is only fair to say that they should manage customers expectations better with how long it may take to get paid for their vehicles taken in part-exchange. Marcus stopped replying to my E-mails which didn’t help reassure us that we’d ever get the money.

My old car is now currently for sale on their website for over £8,000 but with no mention of it having a new clutch which makes me very suspicious that it was just a ploy to knock me down nearly £2k.

On a positive note I am very pleased with my new car. Unfortunately I’m really disappointed with Kiss Cars for their communication post-sale.

I would recommend purchasing a vehicle from Kiss Cars but I would warn prospective customers to be wary that they may not be completely clear and honest about how quickly they’ll pay you for your old vehicle and any offer they make on the phone could be completely worthless.
