Habe eine KitchenAid Artisan Maschine gekauft und bin ziemlich enttäuscht. Das Gerät ist megaschwer und ist von Anfang an sehr laut (bisher 3x genutzt). Bei niedrigen Drehzahlen kommen zusätzliche schnarrende Geräusche die nicht gut klingen. Schüsseln und Rührer sind OK und spülmaschinengeeignet ABER: dass der mitgelieferte Schneebesen nicht in die Spülmaschine darf (wegen Alukopf) finde ich nicht sehr nutzerfreundlich. Habe jetzt gesehen, dass es anscheinend auch Schneebesen separat zu kaufen gibt, die in den Spüler dürfen und finde das überrissen...das Gerät ist so schon extrem teuer und der simple Komfort eines spülmaschinetauglichen Schneebesens muss noch mal extra gezahlt werden! Alles in allem würde ich das Gerät nicht wieder kaufen und auch nicht weiterempfehlen. Für den Preis (>800 CHF) ist es zu schwer, zu laut und unpraktisch.

I bought an expensive kettle & right from the start I had the same problem as several other buyers on Amazon: the thermostat of the Artisan kettle didn't work properly, ie the kettle didn't switch itself off at 100C, which is obviously dangerous.

Kitchenaid Switzerland refused the repair on the grounds that they do not sell the model in the colour "honeydew" in Switzerland - even though the kettle is sold in 9 other colors.

In a second email they wrote that a repair wasn't possible; they could only exchange the kettle but wouldn't do it because the kettle wasn't bought in Switzerland - even though the warranty terms say otherwise & the model is sold in Switzerland.

So I now have to throw a 2 months old kettle worth CHF 250 in the bin!

They had even the impertinence to tell me that usually they would have invoiced me for the problem identification but they would generously abstain from it this time.
