Then one (out of 2) lamps stopped working well (had barely used them) and it just was out of the 30 day warranty. Might had used them sparingly for 2 mos & customer care didn't offer anything. Do not recommend this co.
Damaged Klarako Crystal Lanterns | Cordless LED
I purchased 2 Crystal Lanterns | Cordless LED in December 25. They arrived in busted boxes and were damaged. I contacted Klarako about my order and the reply was: "Weâre sorry to hear that youâd like to return your order. The lamps must be unused and original packaging. Moreover, please note that the return shipping cost will be covered by the customer, and a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refunded amount after the item is received and inspected." Klarako completely disregarded the fact that the lamps were damaged. In the next email they asked for video which I provided. In the following communication Klarako offered 50% refund if I keep the product. I refused because of the damage, and the poor construction. A week went by and I got another email asking again for the video. I forwarded the same video as I did previously. Klarako's respond was that I can return the lamps but they will charge 20% restocking fee and I have to pay the shipping. Again, I refused and restated that the lamps are not working. After that, Klarako finally agreed to issue refund for the 100% cost and not charge 20% restocking fee. However, no shipping label. I returned the lamps at my own cost and received 80% refund. They did charge the restocking fee. Again I complained, and finally they refunded the restocking fee. I did send them the receipt for the shipping, but to no avail. To conclude, the design is beautiful, the construction is poor, dealing with Klarako is beyond frustrating. They do not stand by their product and do everything possible to deter customer from pursuing refund. I intended to attach the video of damaged lamps. But is seems that Klarako disabled the ability to upload videos. I am not surprised.
Get it from a competitor! Returns are expensive and makes no sense
Get it from a competitor. Lamps are fine but there is a huge cost for return.
The product costed $150 or something and I had to pay $58 to return + owe 20% for restocking.
Every other competitor offers free return.

I ordered two lamps. One arrived scratched and I have been trying to get a replacement for over two weeks. The company is very slow to respond and wants pictures of everything, including the outer shipping box. Donât throw anything away until you confirm your products arrived intact. The lamps are cute, but very dim. Not great if want to use it as a reading lamp. Itâs definitely just a decorator piece (and thatâs if it arrives in good shape).

Donât waste your money. Their products are cheaply built. Their 30 day money back guarantee does not exist. Their customer service either doesnât respond or asks you to charge it, send videos when Iâve already explained the light doesnât work but they will not acknowledge that fact. They are stalling and not accepting responsibility. Great looking products. They donât work. Donât waste your money, time and save aggravation dealing with them.

It worked for a week or so and then I stopped using it.
It does not work anymore. I have never used it outside, never dropped it or abused it in any way.
I contacted the company who informed me they had a 30 day return policy and could not help me.

I requested to cancel my order after it took far too long to ship, and customer service confirmed the cancellation. Weeks later, I was surprised to receive a shipping notification. When I followed up, they admitted it was an internal miscommunication and asked me to accept the package anyway, offering a $20 refund as a âgood faithâ gesture. I had already purchased a replacement by thenâwhy would I accept something I no longer need? The whole experience was frustrating and chaotic. Poor communication, disorganized service. I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere.

They sent me a faulty lamp. I complained. They sent me a second faulty lamp. I told them it too was faulty. Please refund my money and please send me a pre-paid return shipping label so that I can return their crappy merchandise. They Never responded. It's been 3 months. They refuse to refund me the money and/or acknowledge that they never sent me a pre-paid return shipping.I finally threw both lamps into the garbage where they belong. Asked CITICARDS for a refund the company said no because I never sent them back a lamp. Save your money and get merchandise that is not cheaply made . THis company is garbage and by the way I never write reviews - trust me stay away
Useless Customer Service
Customer Service is worst than useless. It makes a mockery of the company's pledge never to deviate from trustworthy customer service. Since January I've been requesting a refund after returning two crystal lanterns that were ordered for Christmas but arrived two weeks late. Customer Service ignores my repeated requests for the refund or to whom I can speak to directly about my refund. To this day, I don't have the lanterns; I don't have my refund; and I have not heard from Customer Service about resolving the issue. Needless to say, I intend never again to deal with Klarako and urge others to beware.

Worst customer service- lack of any sort of customer support. If youâre not technically savvy you will find it even harder. They donât care how hard they make it to resolve an issue. Iâve been emailing back and forth for days. I get one email per day. Even if I respond first thing in the morning- I wonât hear again until tomorrow. Every file I sent with videos were unacceptable, not viewable, etc.
Customer service is horrible
Customer service has been completely unhelpful in resolving a lamp issue I received as a gift. They want information about the person who bought it, but we got this lamp at a company Christmas party - I don't know who bought it. I requested my inquiry be escalated, the lamp doesn't work - I just want it fixed! I said I'd pay to have it fixed. Will not purchase anything now that customer service experience has been so poor.

I am having the exact same experience as reviewer Sara Wilmot. I bought 2 for myself, they worked great and I loved them, but only on the one warm yellow light setting. Anyway, decided to buy 2 more as a Christmas gift. Like Sara, when my brother opened them on 12/25/24, one worked, and one did not. Because it was a gift, I was embarrassed and told my brother Iâd send it back and get a replacement, thinking it would be easy. Oh no, and for a company that advertises a 180 day return policy, this has been nothing but an exercise in frustration. Iâve been going in circles with a seemingly bot for a customer service rep, via email, asking for videos proving that Iâve charged it, use different cables because 95% of the time thatâs the problem, etc. Send a video again, so there goes my circular nightmare. I donât get it if there is a 180 day return policy! Now I havenât heard from them since Monday 2/3. My advice, donât buy these. There are plenty of touch lamps on the market. Itâs a crapshoot whether or not youâll get a broken one and they clearly do not want to fix or replace. There is no number to call or address to return, They are too expensive, even on sale, to have a 50% chance it will not work and no recourse.

Good luck with getting a refund if defective
Ordered the cordless lantern and had ordered 2 more in a separate order. One does not work without it being plugged in. 12-26 I contacted Klarako explaining the issue with a video which is what they ask for. 12-27 They responded asking for me to try different USB-c charging cords as 95% of the time it solves the problem. I did this with 3 different cords at 6-8 charge hours per cord. Nothing. 12-27 I reported back that it still would not hold a charge. 1-1 After five days I finally got a response that I asked that upload another video of showing me trying different cords to Google drive. So I did. 1-4 Received a response âI will get back to you soon with an update.â It is now 6 days later and I have gotten no response. I feel like Iâm just being waited out until the timeframe for return has expired. The amount of hoops they have you jump through to prove to them that a unit is defective is ridiculous. Iâm willing to update if they come through but Iâm not holding my breath!
