My item is great! But. Somehow someone names Leona Hyde is now the deliver to person on my account and this was an issue when my delivery company was picking up my item. The email I got to leave my feedback is also directed to this person I have no idea who they are.

Very concerning since my ship too and bill too address is correct on my online order.

I purchased a hypertherm plasma cutter with KMS 3 years ago and I can no longer find consumables for the particular model. I am forced to source them through amazon which has been a pain to say the least.

I also Purchased a stick/tig welder, a CK world wide AC/ DC 200 amp machine from KMS last year and when using it discovered porosity in the welds, I checked everything, finally called the manufacturer in the states and they asked me where it was purchased and I told them KMS in Calgary and they said that when they order the machines through them they order 160 amp Tig torches to save money. Well because I was using the machine at full power I was melting the insides of the torch and it was visible in the weld quality. KMS would not pay for the upgraded torch and they did not sell that torch, I was in the middle of a project and was forced to purchase the 200 amp torch elsewhere. Even though the manufacturer was sending me a 200 amp torch for free for my troubles it wasn't scheduled to arrive for 3 weeks , so I had to purchase another one to complete the job in a timely manner ($750). When I received the upgraded torch I went to back to KMS and let them know what the problem was and said that this is kind of like false advertising why would I buy a 200amp welder from them if I can only weld 160 amps without getting porosity? I tried to get KMS to reimburse me the money when the new torch arrived but they blamed it on the manufacturer and said it was not their fault.

I Purchased a Lincoln 140MP 2 years ago and loved the MIG but the Stick option would not function or weld 3/32 rod for more then 10 seconds without hitting the duty cycle and cutting out, Long story short it took 2 hrs to complete a 1/2 hr job. I called Lincoln and that particular model had a 60% duty cycle as advertised by KMS for MiG but only a 20% for stick, But KMS's add at the time led you to believe that it was a 60% duty for all three processes. I went into the store and let them know what Lincoln had told me and was told by the lady behind the desk that when they post the adds on the website that someone just copies and pastes right from Lincolns website so they probably just got confused with a different product and didn't realize what they had done?? I also purchased a spool gun at the time through KMS with the advise of the sales person to accompany the welder. When I got it home I realized that the plug for the spool gun would not fit the welder So I called KMS and explained the situation and KMS told me that, that was the spool gun for that machine. At the time the spool gun was a smoking deal at $400 so I took it to Kristian electric in Calgary where they fitted it with a new plug for me ($150). KMS refused to cover the cost of that for me because their rep assured them that the spool gun that they sold me was for this particular welder.

This year they had the 140MP on sale for $900 and I checked the duty cycle and they upgraded the duty cycle to 60% for all 3 processes (I cross referenced that with Lincolns website on my own) so I purchased another machine through KMS again with a spool gun and again with help from a sales person who assured me that this spool gun will work with this particular machine that was purchased. Well the spool gun was not compatible with the welder and surprise surprise the plug didn't fit. So this time I took it back to the store and showed them the issue. They tried both spool guns from different boxes just to confirm that it wasn't a one off mistake, they ended up bringing in a Lincoln rep to verify this, which he did and it could not be explained why it did not fit, it just didn't. So I got my money back on the spool gun and went to my local welding supplier and purchased a spool gun that works with the machine just fine. It costed me about $100 over KMS's price but it worked, funny thing though it came in the same box and had the same model number on the box that KMS was selling?

I will continue to use KMS for other things like Milwaukee products and tools but I am not sure I will be purchasing anything from the welding department anytime soon. In many situations I have given KMS
the benefit of the doubt and asked them to make things right and I have been disappointed over and over again with their responses. it's just not worth the hassle at least in the welding department.

Every order or purchase always prompt and the commercial desk is on top of things. I have never had an issue at the commercial desk.

Service is great, good prices and good stock
