The place I like to check first
Good selection of tools. Easy to figure out from the website whether what you need is in stock. Helpful staff, good prices. No fee to become a "member" and get the discount, just your name and phone number IIRC, and there's been no misuse of my phone number. If I'm looking for tools, I always check the KMS site first.

I ordered auto parts that took over 6 months to arrive, by then I had sold the truck… Since posting this review KMS has reached out and given me additional credit to offset the inconvenience
Update: the credit never materialized, dropped rating back to 1

We can understand your frustration with long backorders. Unfortunately sometimes our suppliers are unable to provide accurate or timely lead times. It sounds like we missed the mark on our communication on this with you.
Normally backorders are filled relatively quickly and our communication is up to date so you are notified with accurate information. We appreciate your business and hope this experience has not discouraged you from shopping with us.

Non professional
Positioned as professional tools sellers KMS not even close to this rank. My back order for Milwaukee voltage tester was dragged 3 months and as a result (after 3 appearances in Calgary store and discussions with customer service and store manager) I decided to cancel this order. I returned all tools purchased from KMS and asked to unsubscribed me from KMS member and email as well.

We apologize for the experience you had ordering this item from us. This item is on a long term backorder from our supplier due to manufacturing delays. Sometimes these situations are out of our control and our supplier may not give us accurate or up to date information.
We understand this can be frustrating. We strive to provide accurate and timely communication on backorders and it sounds like we missed the mark on this one.

I ordered two pipe stands and only received one. I'm still waiting for the other one ....Can't really do anything with just one pipe stand, you need two.

It seems we only had one pipe stand in stock at your local store at the time of your order. We are sourcing the second one from another KMS Tools location. We do our best to keep our stock levels up and as a service to our customers we offer free transfers from other stores when we happen to not have what you need.

The best tool store in Calgary
I always get my questions answered and leave with what I come for. Jay in Calgary is a wealth of knowledge and information, he is very helpful. KMS is my go to tool store. All the staff are very friendly and helpful

Country Rich Craft Homes Ltd loves Kms tools
It’s a great place to shop if you’re running a construction company like we are. They post deals monthly and have everything we need tool wise in one location. We also own a 1969 gmc and we use the c.a.r.s section that they have for replacement parts.
