Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. Responses to both phone calls and emails are extremely slow, and getting any meaningful support is very difficult.

My biggest disappointment was the warranty service. Once you receive the goods, it seems that the warranty covers very little, despite the promises and attractive wording on the website. When problems arise, they look for reasons to avoid responsibility rather than helping the customer.

After spending a significant amount of money with this company, I feel let down by the lack of after-sales support and customer care.

My advice is to pay a little more and buy from a company that stands behind its products and values its customers.

I would not recommend KRD Catering at all.

Induction Fryer nearly caught fire

Induction Fryer nearly caught fire due to faulty thermostat and KRD just refused a return and now gone silent.

I purchase a fryer from them and in less than 10 days of use started to over heat. Despite the fact the display was showing 130, the fryer was producing blue smoke. I probed the fryer and noted it was showing 246. Despite sending video evidence they have not proposed any solution.

For anyone out there reading this and in the same situation where they bought an items and failed within 30 days look at the "Sale of Goods Act 1979" Under section 14 of the Act, there are implied terms that goods supplied in the course of a business must be of satisfactory quality and reasonable fit for purpose.
Take them to a small claims court and report to trading standards.

These cowboys need to understand that businesses will not accept this type of service.

Their KRD products are rebranded cheap Chineese rubbish that nearly burnt down my trailer.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR BUSINESS.

I purchased a large amount of catering…


I purchased a large amount of catering equipment from KRD Equipments for my new cafe, including a bain marie model M204.
The equipment was delivered on 9th April 2026. My cafe opened on 14th April, and by 18th April the bain marie had stopped working completely — only 4 days after opening.
I contacted KRD by both telephone and email the same day the fault occurred. All communication thereafter was by email. Over a period of around 3 weeks, I was repeatedly asked to try different things at different times, but I never received a consistent resolution.
I requested a call from a manager/supervisor on two separate occasions and, to date, I am still waiting for this to happen.
I was eventually advised that I would need to pay for an engineer to assess the bain marie. In my opinion, a machine that fails after 4 days of use was clearly faulty from the outset.
Unfortunately, this caused disruption to my business as I was left without a properly functioning bain marie for around 3 weeks, affecting my ability to keep food warm and resulting in loss of revenue. I ultimately had to purchase a replacement bain marie from another company.
In addition to this, the soup warmer and saladette both leak badly, and the hotplate has split causing grease to escape everywhere. Photos can be supplied.
I am disappointed with both the quality of the equipment supplied and the level of after-sales support received

If I would have known

If I would have known, or done research. I would have learned how bad, and dishonest this company is, I would never have purchased from them anything in the first place. I have been left with damaged item, no replacement no full refund, hit me with silence, proper scammers.
Unfortunately, it's not only me that was treated this way. Reading other reviews, they sound identical to my situation.

Terrible company

Terrible company
I bought a griddle which arrived damaged as in a few dents and scuffs which isn't too big of a deal and had I not needed it straight away I would've requested a replacement. I set it up and used it for an hour. I contacted customer services and sent pictures showing the damage etc. They asked if it was working ok which I replied yes. The next day (today) I've used it from 7:30 onwards and could soon tell that it's not functioning to its full potential, by that I mean there's cold spots and I'm having to cook on the highest setting 300 degrees which is extremely high just to do a bit sausage and bacon. I've emailed them this morning explaining it isn't right to be told there's nothing they can do other than offer me £10 as a gesture of goodwill?? Having a laugh aren't you? I've had it 2 days. All I wanted was a replacement unit that worked and wasn't damaged. I'll never use these again they're useless and sell junk.

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE. TERRIBLE!!

I wish I had looked at the reviews online first !!

IN ALL MY 35 YEARS I HAVE NEVER COME ACROSS SUCH A BAD COMPANY.

Ordered a £2000 hot counter bits missing which was bad enough no response to sort it after contacting them.

After 2 weeks of use it blew all my electrics.
It look like element was burnt but wasn't sure but every time reset it tripped when turned it on.

The company don't want to know,
Over 20 calls made, I am told by telesales that I can't be put through to management.
It's there protocol.
Asked for call back on lots of occasions heard nothing.
All emails I sent are auto replied.
After 2 1/2 months still nothing.
Finally got an email to say I need to get my own engineer to look at it !!
Warranty is only on parts !!
It was 2 weeks old 🤬

Even the staff I spoke to said it was so bad there and all they get is complaints that bosses don't deal with 🤷🏼‍♂️

DO NOT USE THEM !!!!!!!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THE COMPANY

I am extremely dissatisfied with the products and service provided by KRD Catering Equipment.
I purchased two display fridges for my business, both of which have proven to be defective. One unit was delivered in an unacceptable and visibly poor condition, raising immediate concerns about quality control. The second unit failed completely within a matter of weeks, which is wholly unacceptable for newly purchased commercial equipment.
Equally concerning is the lack of adequate customer support. I made repeated attempts over three days to contact the company, experiencing delays and a clear lack of responsiveness. When I finally received a response, I was informed that I would need to arrange and pay for my own technician, as they claim the issue is not covered under warranty.
This position is both unreasonable and unacceptable. Supplying faulty goods and then refusing to take responsibility undermines basic consumer rights and demonstrates a serious disregard for after-sales obligations.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend KRD Catering Equipment. I strongly urge the company to review its quality control processes and customer service standards.
