we stayed at Kunda's House for 6
days.
Our room and the bathroom was nice furnished and clean.
We were lucky that the lady nextdoor helped us to open the front door and the door of our room by electronic numbers.
Right oposite of Kunda House is a bus stop to take you to the city center. Nearby are some shops for the things we needed every day.

Everything was very good. Nice house.
Only the credit card problem should be changed.

Initially, I lived at 150 Sycamore Place for three weeks, and later, I moved to 67 Park Hill Road for an additional two and a half weeks. I had bed bug issues at Sycamore, but I can tell the host was trying to fix this issue and apologized profusely also offered another room(67 Park Hill Road) and got compensation both from Airbnb and the host. There were some other issues too. Both kitchens had old worn-out pans, with the non-stick coating completely gone. Even though I asked for a replacement it didn't happen in both places. The kitchen knives were completely dull in Sycamore, although that got replaced. Both houses needed repairs (Sycamore had many issues), and some were fixed after being prompted while others were not. Now here is the good: I had a great experience with the support staff, particularly El. She was wonderful - I could tell she was genuinely eager to help me. Her response was prompt, and she was kind and considerate throughout. Initially, I experienced some problems with the cleanliness of the kitchen. However, the next day, a friendly cleaning lady was sent and she did an excellent job. The issues have been resolved appropriately. My rooms looked very nice and clean in both places, the beds comfortable (bed bug incident aside in Sycamore) and they even arranged a table and chair specifically for me on my second stay which didn't include one originally. WiFi was super fast, never had any issues with that. Everyone, from the cleaning lady to the maintenance guy, was kind and helpful. All in all, I have mixed feelings about the experience.

There is a 100GBP security deposit per room. I was not sent the details to pay this until after our allotted check in time. We weren’t given access to the building until this money was paid. Once paid, our door code did not work for another half an hour. The double beds barely are able to fit 2 people and the shower flooded every time used. Our room also had no ventilation so in summer was far too hot.

Very small, not clean, full of bugs an insects comes when windows were opened, toilet need maintenance. They took 100£ as security deposit and told me that it is refundable and I still waiting for more than week.

Bedroom floding. Absolutely rubbish.

Absolutely amazing the staff are incredible and when you need help thy fix the issue straight away and the place is beautiful

Liked: The studio flat is located in a quiet residential area, so I slept well. It was well located and the kitchen area was useful for my needs
Disliked: I disliked nearly everything: a pre-check form(!) that required me to enter my passport number and photo of it; had to pay £150 security deposit (T&C hidden in the small print when booking); studio flat is hidden down an unmarked alleyway; you need to enter two six-digit codes to access the alleyway then the flat; the keypads are hard to activate and the host's guidance is a link to a You Tube 12 minute product installation guide; when I arrived 30 mins after my agreed time of 3pm the flat had still not been cleaned; later when I returned I found the fridge still uncleaned; when I opened freezer door I found a mouldy carrot on the floor; the towels and bedding were clean but old; communications with the host left me feeling completely untrusted and confused, by the number of conditions and complexity.

After reading some reviews i was skeptical on booking, especially as i was booking for 16 people,but i shouldn't have been.The location was perfect for us as the function we were attending was within walking distance, house was spotless, the customer service was great, (had 2 little issues which were answered and fixed), shared accommodation but with large amount of us only 1 more room was used and the people were fine. I didn't like having to pay deposit on each room as no-one walked the house with us on leaving but we got it back within the time they said. House was VERY warm but the weather was 26 degrees so that didn't help!

I made a booking at Kunda House for Birmingham Pride weekend. I had no communications from the property besides the generic confirmation email. I was set to arrive at the property around 10pm but was unfortunately delayed until just after midnight. I arrived at the property to find it in complete darkness. There was a Ring doorbell and a keypad on the door. I tried the Ring doorbell multiple times and searched through my emails to find a pin code - there was nothing.

I spoke with Booking.com who tried to contact Kunda House to no avail. They assured me that the stay would be refunded and my new hotel would also be paid for.

Unfortunately, neither of these things turned out to be true and I am now out of pocket hundreds of pounds.
