COMPLETE SCAM - 100% AVOID. Ordered two lamps. When they eventually came they looked nothing like the photographs - extremely cheap with foreign plugs. They won't fully refund, charging us £60 to return the lamps. We are £60 out of pocket for nothing. Please please avoid these scammers at all cost.

Long delay after ordering - seems to come directly from a Chinese factory... perhaps naively wasn't expecting that. Anyway. it never turned up. Just stopped during its journey. First time I've been what can only be described as scammed.

Dropshipping scam, absolutely do not buy. Quality is grabage, customer service is worse than garbage. Bought in the US, customer is responsible for return shipping...to AUSTRALIA. Plus a restocking fee to add insult to injury.

Ugh, like everyone else I wish I had checked Trustpilot first. AI generated and run website cashing in on millennial looking branding and selling Alibaba garbage - packages are delivered via CAINIAO which is owned by the Alibaba Group.

I am so mad I usually am better than this - no returns without a restocking fee, pay to ship back yourself, no real reviews online. CAINIAO delivered to the wrong address (no idea where and the photos even show a completely different building and number!) and was told to contact them as it's "not on the company". Of course, if I had gotten to the bottom of the FAQ I would have seen - this must happen often enough for them to have a whole section on it. Feels extra scammy!!!

The website and user experience is incredible but the quality and packaging is so cheap. I bought the strada lamp for my boyfriend for Christmas thinking it would be a really special present, in reality you end up with a box that says made in china on the front and there is nothing that feels special about opening it at all! The lamp does look nice on but just feels such poor quality and not made to last, there are dupes of this product for a third of the price that you would be better off going with.

Box came all kicked and damaged no instructions with the lamp at all very poorly packaged very poor make. The charging port has disappeared inside the lamp and hasn’t been sold onto the circuit board properly so I can’t charge it now. Absolute waste of money it appears it’s a fake website. Wish I’d have checked these review reviews first.

For the money, this lamp is incredibly cheaply made and the instructions (which are almost useless) are hand-drawn! Overpriced, and I will not be purchasing from Lampboy again.

Absolutely rubbish quality. I bought two lamps. First one the battery lasted 10 minutes. I complained and they sent another one. It arrived in three parts, totally useless. The second lamp arrived with something rattling inside and feels like a cheap fairground prize. Nowhere near worth the money. It cannot stand up while charging on the charging cable they sent. Deliveries take 2 to 3 weeks from order. Do not buy this cheap rubbish! There are plenty of other good quality lamps out there

Really poor quality lamps. Paid more than average hoping for a nicer finish but vey cheap, dinky and plastic feeling. Will lose half my Monday if I return. Avoid.

I was so quick to purchase that I wasn’t my usual diligent self checking if the website was dodgy! The website looks good in appearance, but the product arrived (after a long time I might add) and it was so cheap! The return policy is ridiculous. I have to send it via USPS specifically at my own cost all the way from USA to AUSTRALIA and additionally also take a 10% extra hit for “restocking”. What a joke. It will cost me the same to just keep the crappy product! Do not purchase from Lampboy!!

Feel very ashamed that I’ve fallen for this - probably Temu sourced - lamp seller. Ali express quality from a surprisingly well designed website (which is what got me). I got an email to say my Cub01 parcel was with my courier after 2 weeks of ordering with free shipping, turns out it was coming from China. Cheap quality, plastic-y rubbish. I avoid these kinds of things so very annoyed I fell for this.

Lampboy is an overpriced drop-shipper of cheap, poor quality lamps. The lamps all arrived but in their original, generic branding. They are poor quality, with cheap build quality, buttons and cold rather than warm lighting.

Found the lamps they sell for £5 on Alibaba.

Disappointed by the cheap quality of the lamp, the brightness of the light and the size, it looks like a little brass mushroom and is definitely too dim to be useful. You also have to pay for returns (to Australia?!) and a 10% “handling fee” so it’s off to the charity shop and lesson learned. Similar lamps seen in TK Maxx for much less btw.
