Disappointing visit
Visited Birmingham yesterday. Rude staff who donât know how to hold a polite conversation. Put other customers with later time bookings ahead of us despite arriving early. Tried to cover up their mistake which led to barely having any time for our activity. spent more time trying to reason with staff that we had started late so should have been allowed our full time. What should have been a nice outing with friends and family during half term was stressful and disappointing. We wonât be returning.

Dringendes Problem nach Online-Buchungsfehler, keine Erreichbarkeit / Reaktion
Leider muss ich aufgrund von Problemen mit dem Kundenservice und der Erreichbarkeit eine schlechte Bewertung abgeben.
Wir haben online eine Buchung fÌr ca. 250 Euro vorgenommen, wobei ein Fehler beim Datum gab. Seitdem versuchen wir, die Buchung zu korrigieren oder eine Lösung zu finden.
Unsere Versuche, das Problem zu klÀren, waren wie folgt:
Telefonisch: Niemand erreichbar bis auf eine Durchsage.
Webseite: Die Funktion zur BuchungsÀnderung war auf der Webseite "nicht verfÌgbar".
Persönlicher Besuch: Wir sind extra zum Lokal gefahren. Auch dort konnte uns leider niemand vor Ort mit der Online-Buchung oder einer RÃŒckerstattung/Ãnderung helfen.
E-Mail: Zwei E-Mails mit der Schilderung des Problems wurden bis heute nicht beantwortet.
Wir haben somit 250 Euro fÌr eine Dienstleistung bezahlt, die wir aufgrund des falsch gebuchten Datums nicht wahrnehmen können, und es wird uns jede Möglichkeit verwehrt, dies zu korrigieren oder zu klÀren. Die mangelnde Erreichbarkeit Ìber alle KanÀle hinweg ist sehr enttÀuschend und lÀsst uns im schlimmsten Fall ohne Gegenleistung zurÌck.

Brought a party of 6 kids for bowling and darts. From the moment we arrived we were looked after really well by Johnny who couldn't do enough for us, great service and the kids had a fantastic time. Lovely and bright, cool venue unlike some of the more traditional bowling alleys. Will definitely be back.

Eye-Wateringly expensive drinks (and poor selection of beers, in particular).
Party of 5 people, booked bowling for what we were told was 50 minutes - the first game ended at just under 40 minutes in. Having just bought a 2nd particullay over priced round of drinks, after alerting 1 staff member that the next game didn't automatically restart, it took a number of bewildered staff to eventually, realise themselves what had happened and subsequently explain that when booking for 5 people for example, it's 50 minutes (10 minutes per person), OR (not and) one game ONLY: whichever comes first. This was all in the unnecessary haste, of more than 1 member staff trying to suddenly rush us away from the table and bowling lane, which we were occupying.
We thought and hoped this might change, when we went to play some of the games afterwards, but no; no thought whatsoever to people (particullarly ladies) putting thier coats,
scarves and especially handbags somewhere other than the floor, when playing... a particullarly obvious oversight, which proves it isn't... it's simply the cattle-mart herding nature of an organisation such as this one, what it's owners think of it's clientele and it's clear remit of of gouging people, on the fair assumption they have no intention of ever returning.
"No cash, only cards accepted" was also a particular highligh of the evening, when being ridden on the price of everything - how is that even legal?
Shockingly poor... a real lowlight of a night out with good, old friends, which was planned a long time in advance, where people travelled from far afield to catch up and "enjoy" something new and different.

We had a pre night stag knees up. Next day we were flying out for the actual abroad stag. We had an absolute blinder. Great setup, nice staff, good atmosphere. Definitely worth the money.
Terrible service and rude staff
Very rude staff in the lane 7 on Grafton Street. My boyfriend and I spent nearly 50⬠for a game on bowling with our two drinks. My boyfriend has a broken foot and the boot he has to wear makes him take longer when walking and doing things which the staff were visibly aware of.
We only had one of our drinks, and had ordered our second one which took 10 minutes alone to be served to us. We were halfway through our game and while I was in the bathroom and very rude lady demanded we leave the bowling alley as another booking had arrived. By the time I had gotten back my boyfriend was already kicked off standing at another table. The staff are very rude here and dismissive.
It is unfair considering the circumstances to kick us off only halfway through the game, not to mention the time and money spent wasted, instead of asking the next booking to wait a couple minutes.
We also witnessed another couple get kicked off too. Terrible service, get this sorted.

Went to the Lane7 in Newcastle on St.Jamesâ boulevard for bowling with the family and had a wonderful time. Initially only booked two games, but it was so much fun and the atmosphere was so lovely, we just had to go for a third.
The staff were very friendly and attentive too. Would definitely go again and again.

Bowling was really good drinks and service was good only bad thing about the place is the bouncer. I came in at the start with my girlfriend and was humiliated by the bouncer from the start, asking me for id but didnât ask my girlfriend. I left to take out cash for a taxi and the bouncer was intensely asking me where I was going and I said Iâm getting something and when I came back the bouncer gave out to me because I was already in there. Weird vibes from the fella but overall the inside was a good experience
Very disappointing experience at Lane7 Dublin (Grafton St)
Our visit was a mess from the start. Staff acted like they didnât want groups there, even though they offer packages advertised online. We paid for 4 arcade cards and waited hoursâŠ.only to get 3. The excuse? They âran out,â which is ridiculous since we were one of the early customers. We only got a refund for that one missing card! Nothing for the poor service or delays. Tried to solve the situation with wanted us to leave.
Staff were unprofessional and slow. I had to collect our own drinks even though service was included and they said theyâre going to serve them. All 8 drinks from the package were randomly handed to us at once (we were 4 people)why would we drink all at once, no thought or care. The manager was rude, constantly interrupted while we tried to explain the situation, and made the situation worse instead of helping.
It was expensive, frustrating, and badly managed. I left feeling completely dissatisfied. Definitely wouldnât recommend Lane7 Dublin for group events or trying to have a good time.
