From the initial call to enquire about a labiaplasty to the final follow up appointment the service was outstanding. Mr and Mrs Ali-Khan and their team did everything they could to ensure I was fully informed and put at ease every step of the process. I highly recommend LASE Cosmetic.

I can’t thank Mr Ali khan and the team at spire enough for my experience getting a breast augmentation in August. I’d always known I was going to get this procedure done, but was so anxious about it until I went for my first consultation at Spire hospital in Washington. No pressure, just helpfulness with making the right decision for myself. I knew when wanting Mr Ali Khan to do my surgery I’d have to wait which I was prepared to do. I went for my first consultation in March 2022 and a cancellation came up for august right before a holiday I had booked. Having told him this, he offered me the perfect date on an extra operating day just 3 weeks later. Recovery was a lot more comfortable than I anticipated as I last minute decided to change my surgery to place my implant under the muscle. Having returned home I only required paracetamol & ibuprofen for pain relief and immediately my breasts never made me feel like I had to hide them to heal due to surgery etc the way I’d read online. Over 3 months post op and I couldn’t be happier with my outcome!

I visited Lase for removal of an unsightly lipoma on my arm. From start to finish they were extremely professional and friendly and really do have the perfect balance with both.
Lisa put me at ease immediately about using them.
The day surgery was such a nice experience with modern super clean facilities and fantastic staff.
James the surgeon was brilliant. The area of the operation was quite a visible area and thankfully he has left me with the flattest tidiest neatest scar that is fading to nothing as he assured me. Amazing job I couldn’t have wished for more.
I would recommend Lase, Lisa and James in a heartbeat and will definitely use them again.

After moving to the north I found Lisa for my Hydrafacials. I have had 4 facials with her to date and I am extremely pleased. She’s a lovely professional with greater approach to the customer - she makes you feel comfortable and relaxed, and listens to your needs. She cares about results and goes out of her way to help the customer achieve what they hope for - including providing product to take away when needed. She is extremely professional but also with a lot of warmth.

I'm so glad I settled on Lase and Mr. Ali-Khan, he is an absolute gem of a person and surgeon. I am so delighted with my results. The consultation, communication as well as the day of the surgery and all the follow-up's were all excellent. I was treated so well, with so much dignity and care for such a personal area of the body! This is really THE (only) place to go for Labiaplasty in the North East in my opinion.

Mr. Ali-Khan has performed countless surgeries of this nature, so he really knows what he is doing and understands a lot about the issues I had with my elongated labia. Mine hung down, so chafing and catching. They had seemed to have grown with age, after children etc... I was assured despite my displeasure of the appearance I was still very much in the 'normal' range, and there was no pressure to have the surgery at all, with all the risks outlined. I'd already made my mind up however, and now 6 weeks post-surgery, I have completely healed. The results are incredible.

You are in and out of their clinic for the surgical procedure in Jesmond after 3-4 hours. Aside from a short & sharp needle to numb the area at the time of the surgery, you can have the surgery under a local anaesthetic which was massively appealing for me with a young family (for recovery time). I walked out, not feeling a thing! After surgery as advised, I kept the area very clean, and after the antibiotic cream had run out, I covered my labia in Lansinoh cream as a barrier method plus ice packs post-surgery while lying down were the best feeling ever to reduce swelling.

The first two weeks were uncomfortable, but the pain relief provided really helped. If I can help anyone here from my personal experience, be prepared to take 1 week fully off work, and then try and work from home (if this is possible) for the 2nd week. If not, consider booking 2 weeks off work completely if you are in a job where you have to sit constantly and where people will notice you. I have a job I can fully work from at home (very lucky), so spent the first two weeks kneeling or standing at my desk. Only my husband knew, so I had to be prepared to 'lie' to family/friends for my lack of ability to leave the house and see anyone.
I am in my early 40's so maybe if I was younger, I might have bounced back after the 1st week. It can affect everyone differently but this is just my opinion in case someone ‘older’ is reading.
Quite literally at the 14 day mark post-surgery however, things massively improved. I was not walking wide-legged/waddling anymore!

If anyone reading this is considering, also think about your period cycle. I was glad of the timing, as my period had just finished when I had the surgery. Having only worn long skirts for the first 2 weeks, the thought of a pad rubbing against my sore labia or having to insert a tampon would have been a no-no.

No pain, no gain though! If you are as determined as I was after years and years of considering to change your labia, you will not regret it and just make the necessary preparations post-surgery for gentle healing. I would not hesitate to recommend Lase and I very much feel part of the Lase 'family' now. Thank you, Mr. Ali-Khan.

Dermal filler to marionette lines a couple of weeks ago. Amazing results, exactly as I’d hoped, very subtle and natural. Lisa is fabulous and I felt she really listened and took her time to understand what I hoped for. Will definitely now be a regular and would always recommend. Thank you team LASE!

I had been through 3 previous Breast surgeries with the most recent being an explant (not with Dr. Ali-khan!) I was unhappy with results so I started to research surgeons in the area and ‘The cosmetic surgeon’ kept popping up. I am so please I decided to book my first consultation- that first meeting with Ahmed I realised that he was not there just to take my money (as the previous 3 surgeons had done) he was honest and very ethical about the results I would achieve if I went ahead with surgery again - it took a year of 3 monthly appointments for Ahmed to finally agree to my breast augmentation surgery. For this reason I knew without a doubt he was the surgeon for me and not just in it for a quick buck.
I managed to go on the waiting list and get a short notice appointment. The results considering my previous surgeries are phenomenal! I can not thank Dr. Ali-Khan enough for being patient, professional, ethical and a genuine kind, funny guy! I rave about and recommend him to anyone and everyone who will listen! The staff at both lase and spire were also amazing before after and during my surgery! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I had been uncomfortable with my drooping boobs as early as i remember having them. I got used to hating how they felt as i didn't really know what options I had. Following my tummy tuck performed by Dr Khan in Oct 2021 and given how amazing I felt afterwards I knew I didn't have to think twice about going for a breast lift too! But Dr Khan did ensure I had thought properly about it, and as usual answered any questions at any time, all very much appreciated and what I had come to expect from him. I was lucky and so excited to have gotten a date for June this year, and have now just had my final review. I can't believe how great I feel in my body now. It's like I was always meant to be and I couldn't be happier with the results. The initial scaring was way better than I thought and at just three months its barley noticeable. After years of careful consideration and research I finally made the decision to go ahead and begin my labiaplasty journey. My immediate fears and self consciousness made the process to begin with a tad daunting.

However, one name I had noticed repeatedly was that of Mr. Ali-Khan. I quickly made an appointment hassle free with the help of the lovely Julie. I must say that not one question or query I have had since that day has not been quickly and efficiently resolved by the full team at Lase.

On the day of my consultation I was made to feel totally at ease, considering my overall embarrassment and discomfort with such a private area. After an examination Mr Ali-Khan explained in depth the options for me going forward. I was advised that this surgery was not a medical necessity, although it may bring me more comfort and a much neater aesthetic.

I went away to think about the pro’s and con’s, but knew rather quickly that i was going to ahead and that Lase was the best choice for me to do so.

The hospital/clinic itself is absolutely immaculate. From the moment you walk in you are made to feel totally at ease and welcome.

On the day of my admission my nerves got the better of me, however I was quickly reassured by the whole team that I was going to be just fine.

My surgery was performed under local anaesthetic (I was awake), this for me had to be the most daunting aspect. In reality I’m so glad I was, it ended up being quite the comedic experience. One I certainly will not forget.

To skip to the good part, my healing consisted of slight discomfort. I followed strict instructions, kept my tena on and let nature do it’s magic!

During the healing process, one side of my labia did not heal as quickly as it’s sister. I sent images over and within 30 minutes I had a phone call from Mrs. Lisa-Khan who is just a dream reassuring me once more.

To put it simply Mr. Ali-Khan has changed my life for the better, I am now more confident in my relationship, confident in myself and just happier all round.

I wish I’d done it years ago! If you are considering labiaplasty I would 10000% recommend the whole team at Lase. After my final 6 week check, I left knowing that the door is always open for me and that is invaluable!

I recently had an upper blepharoplasty with Mr Ali-Khan at Lase Cosmetic. From the first consultation to my final check up, the service at Lase has been superb. I am thrilled with the results and the whole team at Lase are fantastic. There is no hard sell and no pushing for you to make a decision. My scars are so neat and you really have to look hard to see them and recovery was exactly as described to me. I would recommend Lase and Mr Ali-Khan to anyone thinking of this procedure- just wondering why I put it off for so long!

I had a breast uplift back in April from Dr. Ali-khan and it’s honestly changed my life, I can finally live comfortably in my own skin and wear whatever I want. Full tummy tuck with lipo. I can’t recommend this company strongly enough. Mr Ali-Khan has a fantastic team around him and you’re made to feel welcome from the very start. My treatment went very well and the after care is great. Even your silliest concerns are addressed and answered really quickly.

My experience with Dr Ali-Khan was absolutely amazing! After spending months researching into breast augmentation, I was over the moon when I found Ali-Khan. I underwent Abdomnioplasty last November 2021 under the care of Dr Ali Kahn. I felt cared for from the first consultation and felt in safe hands from then. My surgery could not have gone better...without complication...and I'm truly thrilled with the results. Its has truly changed my life... in so many ways. Nearly 6 months on...my scar is a faint line.... wish I had done this years ago. Forever thankful Dr Ali Khan...and his wonderful team .... x

I visited LASE cosmetic for a small facial procedure. The whole experience was fantastic from beginning to end. All of the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly and put me at ease throughout. The care and attention to detail from everyone on the team is first class. I could not recommend them more highly.

I had a tummy tuck about 6 month ago, performed by Mr Ali Khan. From the first consultation I knew that I would be in safe hands. He was very clear about the procedure, explained all of the risks and was very realistic about the results I should expect. I didn't feel pressure at all to go ahead with the surgery, in fact, quite the opposite.... Mr AK was more concerned about making sure that I knew I was making the right decision which was quite comforting. The result from the surgery is exactly what I expected and more. I took 2 weeks off work and expected to be stuck in bed for the first week but I was actually walking around from day 2/3 and was back to work after 1 week! The most pain actually seemed to come from the muscle repair,
which felt like I'd done a really intense core workout but, it was worth it! The after care was brilliant! I had a slight infection in my belly button, which was unrelated to my surgery (it was a yeast infection which I used to get now and again before my tummy tuck), I messaged Mr AK out of hours, to ask his advice, and his response was very helpful and thorough (as was the response from the Spire staff... waiting back after their shift had ended for me to go in and get checked out and get a prescription!) and he arranged an appointment for me to get checked out at his next clinic to make sure everything was OK! It was! 🙂

I chose to go with Mr AK from Lase because he absolutely filled me with confidence and made me feel in safe hands. I would definitely recommend him! All surgery comes with risks and this procedure is pretty major therefore you need the reassurance that if anything does go wrong you're in the right hands! A huge thank you to Mr AK, all at Lase Cosmetics, and absolutely everyone of the staff at the Spire that I came into contact with...they were all amazing!

We received a warm welcome from the moment we entered the beautiful building and Mr Ahmed Ali-Khan reassuringly dealt with the skin lesion , taking time , care and kindness to explain the treatment and after care .I knew mum was is safe hands and what might have been cause for anxiety transformed into a pleasant day out with lunch in a nearby street cafe thrown in. I visited Lase Cosmetic for a small procedure, the minute I walked through the doors I was hit with a warm welcome, the whole process made me feel very comfortable and I was so impressed by the professionalism of all the staff. I don’t often write reviews. I often mean to but never get round to it but on this occasion I really feel I must. I visited the amazing Lisa at LASE Cosmetic as I was feeling a little self conscious about my skin. This visit literally changed my life. I had a hydrafacial and we had a very long chat about skin care amongst other things. She literally made me feel like a million dollars. I have now become a bit of a regular at LASE Cosmetic and I look forward to every visit.
