Takes every opportunity to rip you off.

Dropped off a group but it took 2 trips. Used the Free parking area. Fined £68 for doing so. Got asked "Why are you even dropping so many people off??". Rude and arrogant staff.

Got told I should read the signs and reverse out if I wasn't happy with that. Problem is you can't if a car is behind.

If you HAVE to use Leeds Bradford, you are better off dropping people at (or near) Hawthorne Farm pub and walking onto site.

I want to share a frustrating experience to help others avoid the same trap. I accidentally entered the long stay car park, which runs parallel to the drop-off zone. It was an honest mistake — but I was shocked to see a charge of £114 for just a few minutes!

I called the assistance number at the entrance, and after explaining the situation, they reduced the charge to £14, the whole setup feels misleading and predatory. It left me feeling conned and disgusted.

Please be extra cautious when entering these parking areas — the signage and layout can be very confusing. I hope this helps someone avoid the same situation.

Just dropped my partner off and was there for literally 3 minutes! The £7 charge is an absolute disgrace! How can they justify these charges? I will have to pay the same again when I collect him.

Thought we would go mid price for mid parking. 6-9 minutes from the main terminal it says. It may well be if your a 20 something and fit. I am a reasonably fit 76 year old and my Wife will shortly be 74, we went round and round the car park looking for a parking space and eventually found one next to the exit gate. Well we got our suitcases out , and proceeded to struggle against a head wind and its all uphill as well. Leeds Airport looks like a big building site at the moment, so lots of little detours added to the length of the journey. It took us nearer to 15 - 18 minutes non-stop walking and we were pretty tired when we finally got there. It would have been better if we spent a bit more and went into the short stay car park instead, but we weren't to know that beforehand!

We had to pick up a family member who was arriving late at night. Living some distance away we checked the flight was landing (flight radar 24 app and airport website/webcam) and set off then as we were allowing time for them to clear security and grab baggage etc. we parked in the 1 hour free carpark.
(Along from Hawthorn pub roundabout with airport on your right, the entrance to the free car park is near the Travelodge hotel). Hubby walked to the pickup point. There were building works going on which lengthened the distance.
No problems otherwise

First and last time I’ll ever use Leeds Bradford Airport and especially Sentinel parking.
They have broken my key fob … which at 1 am I didn’t notice until I came to lock my car when I arrived home.
It would have been cheaper to get a taxi as I now have to replace the fob.

Booked through holiday extras … nowhere to contact to make a complaint either at the parking site or holiday extras.
Absolutely fuming …

I chose meet and greet because I mistakenly believe that they would be responsible if anything was damaged in my absence. I came back from my holiday to be told that my van’s hand brake had broken. It was clearly something that one of the employees had done at the meet and greet. After standing for two hours I was then told I would have to recover the vehicle using my breakdown cover and claim on my insurance. They said they were undertaking an investigation to find out what happened but in the meantime that was what I was expected to do in order to have my vehicle repaired. I was already late for picking up my children and I would’ve been without a vehicle for work the following week. I explained, I wasn’t happy about this as I didn’t see why my insurance should cover damage caused by their employees and I would be out of pocket when the premium increased next year. In addition my breakdown cover wouldn’t cover the removal of the van to the garage necessary to undertake any repairs. I was anticipating having to pay for a flatbed to recover my vehicle to the garage. Thankfully, before I left, I went back to the van to pick up some personal items and decided to have another go at getting the handbrake off, despite the fact I had already tried and a number of their employees had.It worked this time and I was able to take the van home. I learned a valuable lesson. I will never use meet and greet again. I’d rather take my chances with someone denting my vehicle in the car park.

I literally parked for 4 minutes to drop off my girlfriend’s parents for a holiday and got charged £7 on exit. This is stupid and shows exactly why people won’t use onsite pick up and drop offs at airports.

Disgusting. £99. For parking 1hr. Bad display. Flight was diverted to Birmingham, should be compensation surely.

This so called parking is just a legalised scam! The pure corruption of UK gov is the problem for allowing this expensive cheating joke of a parking to exist and ripoff customer 24/7 every single day!

Absolute rip off £107 and this was discounted by 15 per cent .Parked here for 2 weeks from 28th September 2024 arrived and couldnt find a space to park for love nor money until another customer pointed us to an over spill car park that was basically just rubble so trying to drag two cases across this when in your late sixties was difficult .On our return we got back to the park at turned 3 am in the morning no lights pitch black freezing cold no staff we found the car by pressing the remote and luckily the car lights came on so we dragged our cases across the rubble again the wheels were covered in crap and thus marked the seats and boot of the car . This is the worst and most expensive airport parking i have ever experienced . We usually use sentinel but their price was extortion seems to me they are cashing in on there being no alternative just another greedy money making scam

the wait for the return coach pick up is usually a few minutes, but took around 20-30 minutes this time, we all stood in the ever growing queue, when the bus arrived both doors opened to let arrivals at the airport out, the back of the queue then rushed to get on while we waited in line patiently, laughing as they used the still open drop off middle door,( bedlam )
Back at the car, someone had left a slight dint in my rear passenger door, we have had the car dint free for 3 months till we used the long stay ( so the £83 paid becomes £183,

Usual experience with the airport who seem surprised and get caught off guard when planes arrive - wasn’t expecting that!!! Landed from Malaga yesterday on time. 25 minute wait on plane for ground crew and buses. 25 min delay going through customs - only 4 border control staff! The only reason I’ve used them is because of the great off site parking with Sentinel - half a mile away but brilliant!
Will no longer use LBA and will go to East Midlands instead.
A 60% one star rating tells you something about the place and the managements approach to customer care.

Used the shirt stay car park to collect a friend , total stay 30 minutes costing £13 , is it any wonder people chance parking on the grass in nearby pubs etc. total ripoff

Today I drop off my friend and stayed up to 2min .
They charge me £6 !!!!!!!

Used the free one hour parking …… 3-5 mins walk away from the terminal.

Works on a token barrier system!

Not well advertised ….. if coming from hawthorn pub round about pass the terminal on your right ….. keep going and the car park is sign posted on the right.

Seems further in the car but once you turn right you double back on yourself in the car park!

You cannot return within a certain time frame (an hour I think) if you are doing multiple drop offs and live locally!

This organization fleeces the motorist.
Visiting on 14th June 2022 simply to drop off a friend I used the short say car park at an exorbitant rate of £5.00 for up to 10 minutes.
Being wary of the time restriction I arrived at the exit barrier with 3 minutes to spare, not only was this blocked with other motorists but the adjacent barrier (although working) was cordoned off with cones.
By the time I reached the front of the queue the mechanism would not open the barrier until I paid an extra £2.00 for overstaying the 10 minute limit.
I appreciate that nowadays £2.00 isn't a lot but suspect that this extra charge may be the airports 'latent' policy to extract even more money out of the 'cash cow' motorist & so increase their profits at the expense of the British public.
Imagine the additional funds this must generate in unjustified fees over a holiday season.
I subsequently contacted the airport authorities & explained the circumstances however their response was negative.
My advice to anyone thinking of using Leeds/Bradford is to find another airport, the flights may cost a little more but this would be more than compensated for by having less hidden charges.

You can only enter 1hr free car park for free once a day. Which is not obvious from the signs. My taxi driver ended up paying 39£ charge. Which is rediculous.

Booked premium parking with passenger with limited mobility. Plane delayed 3.5 hours so was charged an extra day. Makes no sense parked at 5am and returned 4 days later, should have been 2.30pm but delayed until 5.30pm. They say I had stayed an extra day??? Apparently LBA parking don’t accept any liability for delayed flights, but how do they get an extra day?? Atrocious, would not recommend.
