The timber we use to manufacture every building comes from quality grades of slow-grown, close-grained Scandinavian redwoods; ethically sourced from sustainable forests. The wood has an outstanding reputation; thickness combined with our carefully designed cladding profiles and build quality guarantees superior strength, durability and long-life protection against rot and decay. From a basic building to a fully-lined and insulated garden room, we offer a wide selection of options and extras on all buildings. About our Timber Leisure Timber Products has grown rapidly and is now one of the largest independent timber suppliers. Based next to the M62, in Goole, the business is ideally situated to supply timber and associated building products across the UK. Our range of products has expanded along with the business. We carry large quantities of stock including shiplap cladding, framing, decking, log lap cladding, oak & mahogany. Interior storage is used for all our timber products. Customers old and new are welcome to visit our premises and check our stock quality. Most of our staff are from constructional backgrounds – combined with commercial experience and training, means they can provide advice and expertise in many timber product applications. An excellent website, appealing showroom, competitive prices and knowledgeable staff…all let down by non-existent customer service that negates the supposed positives.
When I placed an order for a log-cabin early in June, having been impressed by everything I saw at the premises on the outskirts of Goole, I was told to expect a confirmatory telephone call the following day.
Installation, I was surprised to learn, would be undertaken “within 10 to 12 days”.
Most impressive indeed, I thought…
Three weeks later - and despite sending an unanswered e-mail after hearing nothing at all from the company - I can only assume that my business is neither welcome nor required.
I do hope that Leisure Timber Products go from strength to strength, but, based on my experience, I’d be surprised if the Amazon has anything to fear.
Now, having dismantled my old summerhouse in readiness for its anticipated replacement, I’d better start my search for alternative suppliers.
After all, such cabins don’t grow on trees…
Recenty bought a shed they were an excellent company to deal with, they delivered and erected the shed when they said they would very pleased with the quality and build of the shed - would not hesitate to buy from them again
I ordered from these after an other company let me down badly (see other reviews for the name).
I can't praise them enough, not only was the order delivered in around a week but we were kept informed throughout & the driver was lovely, helpful & polite.
Seeing the wood made me glad I found them, better quality & a really good price. Honestly, I wish all my purchases were as simple as this one.

Absolute 5STAR service. Great communication, advise, and delivery was on time and also carried it through to the rear garden. 83 lengths of 5.1mtr laplog cladding.
Competitive price including delivery too.
