I studied a Level 3 Medical Secretary Diploma with Lewis College over 18-months and I couldn’t rate them higher. The support has been incredible and all the tutors have been friendly, supportive and always provided prompt feedback and responses to any queries. The course content was indepth over all modules and covers absolutely everything - having this course and qualification on my CV despite at the time still studying it still led to me getting 2 job offers of a Medical Administrator as well as an NHS Medical Secretary. I loved the flexibility of this course, whilst studying I changed jobs, moved house and went through a period of illhealth which meant there were periods I wouldn’t study for a few weeks at a time, but again the support and understanding from the tutors and having access to the course for 18-months meant there were no concerns in terms of not having enough time to finish the course. If you’re looking at a career change into medical administration/secretarial work, I’d highly recommend this course.

I highly recommend Lewis College for its outstanding Medical Secretary Diploma. The course is very thorough and extremely interesting. I have improved my general IT skills and learnt many useful skills specific to medical secretary work. All exams can be taken at home which is really convenient. Some units include diary management, PowerPoint, Excel, writing medical letters and audio typing. I enjoyed every unit, the medical terminology was fascinating. The tutors are exceptional, give really useful feedback and couldn't be friendlier. If you want to study this course from home, you couldn't find anywhere better.

I really enjoyed the online course, it was such a great experience for me. For a while, I was interested in a course like this and it filled all my exceptions. I really liked the flexibility of this course and the most valuable thing is that I have learned a lot over the last year and I gained new experiences thanks to my tutors and their support.

Very nice and helpful college, the lessons and courses are very easy to follow. In a year and a half I learned I lot and I have grown up professionally. The tutors are very helpful and comprehensive, it is very worthy to study at this college.

This was a great course to do with lots of good ideas and support along the way. It gives you all you need to know to be a medical secretary with great tips and advice from typing, managing your day, using technology to help organise, working with others and dealing with difficult situations. Would totally recommend it and it got me a nice pay rise. Thank you

Truly wonderful experience working my way (in my own time) through all the units whilst working with incredibly passionate and kind tutors the whole time! I felt completely supported and like I could ask any questions. I found the entire course engaging and crucially I was learning new things/working on more challenging aspects. Not only was it really simple to apply but it has such a relaxed (but formal) approach when accessing workbooks on the online hub. I also enjoyed working on Typesy for my speed typing and also ExpressScribe for my audio transcriptions. All units felt very beneficial to complete. It has many different topics within the Secretarial course. The medical terminology course was certainly worth adding as I have so many new words and terms I can use as a bonus. I didn't even need to pay for the necessary books as they were provided for me with an Amazon voucher. I truly couldn't fault anything! I spent a long time comparing similar courses and this one definitely stood out to me.

I chose this college because they are amazing and so helpful with everything. When asking a question they got back to me more or less within 24 hours which is so good considering the amount of students they have.

The feedback was very helpful from everything even the lessons were easy to understand.

Overall this college would be the one I go to for further courses if I decide to do more.

This is an excellent course. Although it was hard work, it was very stimulating and enjoyable, and does require a commitment, but the lessons in each module are easy to follow, the course material is ample, thorough and clear. The tutor support could not be better. The assessments are challenging but easy to follow. I really enjoyed my 18 months and now feel confident to be employed as a medical secretary. The course was very thorough and covered everything that is likely to be required in such a role. I can honestly say I loved it and really thought it was a brilliant course. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lewis college. It is a very well run professional outfit. A big thank you to all the tutors who gave me their time, invaluable help and support during the last 18 months.

I have just completed the medical Secretary diploma with Lewis college and highly recommend studying with them. The tutors could not have been more supportive, friendly and helpful, especially Simon and the feedback given after each module was really thorough and complimentary and spurred me on to continue. The content of the course was clear, the materials supplied were everything needed and you have the flexibility of completing it at your own pace in your own time. I have really enjoyed studying this course through Lewis College and would definitely go back to them if I were to do another.

I have just completed Medical Secretary L3 Diploma Course and I had a very positive experience while doing the course. The tutors were very supportive and the work sent for marking was returned very quickly. I feel that my confidence in using medical terms, together with secretarial tasks has highly improved. Recently completed my Executive PA Diploma with Lewis College. With the course being on-line you have the flexibility to study as and when suits you which is invaluable when judging study with work and family life. All the tutors have been supportive and encouraging and are always quick to respond to any queries / questions. Feedback on assessments submitted is always constructive and I have learnt so much.

Great course to do, the tutors are all so lovely and supportive. Have learnt so much from doing the course not just medical terminology, my excel and PowerPoint skills have also sharpened up. Would recommend this course to anyone looking to study to become a medical secretary learning from home

My experience with Lewis College is just amazing and I can highly recommend it to anyone! From the beginning of my journey, each tutor was extremely helpful and explained to me everything. Whenever I was not sure and needed extra support.

Each unit is perfectly explained and you will gain good knowledge. Overall As I mentioned I am very pleased with my decision & choise of the right company to complete my PA qualification.

I studied the medical secretaries diploma via distance learning in 2020-2022 with Lewis College to retrain myself having taken the medical secretaries diploma in 1986. It is very relevant to modern day practices and teaches you all the skills you will need to be an efficient and reliable medical secretary. The support received from the tutors was outstanding, they were with me supporting me every step of the way. I would recommend this course and Lewis College.

I significantly enjoy my time at Lewis College studying for the Executive PA diploma. The curriculum covers a wide variety of topics, many of which I now apply in my day-to-day job. I found the business letters and self-improvement improvement units to be the most useful for learning skills I had never encountered before. The college was very accommodating in terms of completion of the course, which made it easy to accommodate working full time and everyday life! Lewis College, thank you!

Very impressed with the admin and teaching staff and their support and kind supervision throughout the course.
Even through mid term the teaching staff mange time to help me completing my course.
I was bit rustic because I have had any studies under my belt for 15 years but I managed to complete my Level 3 medical secretary diploma with the help of kind teachers.
