Kilimanjaro 2018
Although my Kilimanjaro climb was back in 2018, it remains one of the most incredible experiences of my life, and I still feel grateful that I chose Life Happens Outdoors (LHO).
From the moment the trip began, everything was handled with professionalism, care, and attention to detail. The guides, porters, and entire crew were simply outstanding. Their encouragement, positivity, and genuine care for every climber made all the difference, especially during the more challenging moments on the mountain.
What impressed me most was how seamless the whole experience felt. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, allowing us to focus on the journey, the breathtaking scenery, and ultimately reaching the summit. Standing on the roof of Africa was an unforgettable moment, and the support of the Life Happens Outdoors team played a huge role in making it possible.
Even years later, I look back on this adventure with fond memories and deep appreciation for everyone involved. LHO didn’t just organize a trip, they created memories that will stay with me for a lifetime.

If I could give 10 stars I would ⭐️
If I could give 10 stars I would, joining LHO the first time for kili in 2018 was one of the best decisions I ever made. It was one hell of a hike but with the team & Rami by your side, you couldn't ever ask for more, he's one of the most caring & passionate people I know and I will be forever grateful for his support. Right from the contact before, and after, it was like all I had to do was show up & have fun.
I since joined them for ABC (Annapurna Circuit) and I hope to join another soon.
So if you are wondering if this company is what it says on the tin or how they show up on instagram, you are wrong...it is so so so much more! A team, a culture, a friendship, a community you'll take with you for life...do it! 🏔💙

Loved every bit of LHO trips
I’ve traveled with the LHO team every year since 2023, anywhere from the Alps, the Himalayas and up to the top of Kilimanjaro. I’ve loved every trip, all thanks to 1) how safe and taken care of LHO team leads (+ support team before each trip) made me feel; 2) expert local guides and staff that LHO chose to support us during the trip, 3) amazing and likeminded humans who LHO have been able to attract on all these trips 4) the sense of community and belonging after the first trip. All of these elements become especially critical when hiking at high altitude, which is why I wouldn’t have picked any other team to do Kilimanjaro with. 110% recommend!

4 trips with LHO... and counting
I've been on four adventures with LHO (Tour du Mont Blanc, Kilimanjaro, the Inca Trail, and Norway), and each one has been epic in its own way. What sets LHO apart is that they really care, and they look out for you, whether you're experienced or a novice. The team leaders are proactive, anticipating your needs and giving everyone individual attention, whether it's accommodating very specific dietary requests, bandaging up scrapes, or baking a birthday cake for me halfway up Kilimanjaro (which couldn't have been easy!) From when you land, every detail of the trip is taken care of, so all you have to worry about is putting one foot in from of the other and taking in the magnificent scenery. I'm looking toward to planning my fifth trip. Highly, highly recommend!

Thank you for taking the time to write something so kind and thoughtful. We’re so grateful to have you as part of the LHO story.
With love and gratitude,

The best Adventure Specialists
The whole experience start to finish was great. There’s a team member you can speak to and consult with to choose a trip suited for your appetite and level, and then they follow through with you once you’ve chosen and purchased your trip, they help you with prep and then when you’re actually on the adventure, everything is covered end to end.
You can rest assured everything is taken care of by the team or will be taken care of by the team.
Would recommend them over and over again in a heartbeat 💗

Hi Ranwa,
Thank you so much for this beautiful review and for trusting Life Happens Outdoors not once, but twice on our Mont Blanc Climbing trip.
What you shared means a lot because it captures exactly what we work so hard to create: expert guidance before the trip, careful preparation, honest advice on the right adventure, and full support once you are in the mountains. Mont Blanc is a serious alpine objective, and conditions always come first. While we would have loved to stand on the summit with you, we are proud that both journeys still became powerful alpine experiences, including alternatives such as Monte Rosa and the Weisshorn area.
For us, real adventure is not only about reaching one specific summit. It is about being looked after properly, making good decisions in the mountains, adapting with the conditions, and coming home with stories, confidence, and a deeper connection to the outdoors.
We are so grateful to have you as part of the Life Happens Outdoors community.

Hi Nada,
Thank you so much for this wonderful review and for being such an important part of the Life Happens Outdoors community.
It has been a privilege to share so many major mountain journeys with you, from Cotopaxi in Ecuador to Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn, and Aconcagua. These are serious and meaningful objectives, and the trust you have placed in us across different expeditions means a great deal.
What makes your story even more special is that you brought your daughter into the mountains with you. Watching both of you take on experiences like Mont Blanc and Aconcagua is exactly why we believe adventure can become something much bigger than a trip. It becomes a shared memory, a source of confidence, and a reminder of what people are capable of when they are properly supported.
Thank you for trusting our team, our guides, and our way of doing things across so many adventures. We are grateful to have you both as part of the LHO family.

Hi Jean Louis,
Thank you so much for this wonderful review and for the trust you continue to place in Life Happens Outdoors.
It has been a real privilege to watch your alpine journey develop across major objectives such as Cotopaxi, the Matterhorn, and the Eiger. Each of these mountains asks something different, and your commitment to growing steadily, learning properly, and building the right foundation is exactly what serious mountain progression should look like.
What you mention about community, professional guides, team leaders, base camp support, and tailored itineraries means a great deal to us. Our goal is never just to take people to impressive places. It is to help each person progress at the right pace, feel supported on and off the mountain, and build the confidence and skill to keep moving forward.
We are excited to see you now taking your alpine experience to the next level with dedicated high alpine training. Thank you for being part of the Life Happens Outdoors community.
