My Mum is 86 yrs and lives alone in London. She is a very independent lady and finds it hard to accept any help. Recently her health has deteriorated and she has very bad short term memory. My Brother and I do as much as we can but we live 3 hrs away and our Mum won’t move nearer to us. She is now unable to go out on her own and gets very lonely. We did a very comprehensive search for Care in the area and found Lifted. We cannot praise the company enough as my Mum now has an excellent Carer who visits her twice each week. The Carer has been perfectly matched to our Mum. They get on really well and will go out together or sit and have lovely chats over a cup of tea. My Mum looks forward to the Carer coming and has started to accept her help for things she is unable to do. The Customer Service at Lifted is excellent, they have an App which enables us to find out what has happened at each visit and allows us to comment. I can honestly say that Lifted has not just changed my Mum’s life for the better but also put the family’s minds at rest. I will happily recommend Lifted to anyone looking for excellent quality Care. I have been using this care agency for about one year now, they have been consistently excellent and are miles ahead of any other care agency I have used or heard about.

I have had a small team of carers working for me during this time. This approach enabled the right balance of consistent care but also means that if one carer is off sick or on leave it the care continues uninterrupted.

Lifted have proven themselves to have high quality standards and the managers always oversee how carers are getting on so any issues can be promptly addressed. In the few situations where a carer is been unavailable at the last minute a different carer has always been provided so I am never left without. This is extremely important for me as I rely on them to help me bath and get dressed ready for the rest of the day. [In my experience this level of reliability is not the case at all care agencies].

Lifted use an app so I am able to see which carers are allocated to me and I’m kept up-to-date on any last-minute changes. There’s also plenty of opportunities to give feedback regarding the carers which I find helpful. They are keen to provide a ‘good match’ for each client - in my case I have a rather lively little dog so it’s important that I’m allocated carers that like her. The app also has summaries from the carers themselves with regards to each visit.

Lifted have been good at providing genuinely nice carers who seem to actively enjoy their work helping people and a lovely to chat with. Because it can be quite scary having a stranger into one’s home to and due to my reliance on their service this is really important to me.

To summarise Lifted have by far exceeded my expectations and have made this difficult last year when my health has been poor to be significantly better than it would have otherwise been.

My elderly relative started out with carers from Lifted 2-3 times a week, who were great with her. Unfortunately she ended up in hospital, and even though she had been using Lifted only for a couple of weeks, one of the managers came and visited her there. When she was due to be discharged, it was clear her care needs had increased considerably. Lifted said they could provide a Live in carer, and they sprung into action. Lifted were so incredibly helpful about arranging the carer, recommending all the equipment that would be needed, liaising with the hospital about the discharge, and making sure that my relative came home to a cleaned house, with a warm welcome from the new live in carer. Because this had to be done on a weeks notice, we hired the carer- a regular carer of their’s- sight unseen based on Lifted’s recommendation. The Live in carer has been absolutely fantastic and I cannot praise her enough. She looks after my relative with care and compassion, cooks her food, keeps her company, and treats her with dignity and respect. Lifted have a great app where she writes down what happens each day, and I know there is always the support of the managers behind the carer. I cannot recommend the agency and the carer more highly. They have both been wonderful.

I came across Lifted by chance and do not regret it. The service is not only efficient, cost-effective and courteous but there is a distinct 'human' touch to the way the company operates right from the Director/Founder to the managers who oversee operations and to the all-important carers. Would strongly recommend.

They have kind and compassionate carers taking care of all my friend’s needs. They follow up with phone calls to make sure we are satisfied with the care we receive but for me, I love the online app that keeps you updated regarding the visits. Each carer who attends leaves a short summary that I can read on the app so I am able to know how the visits are going. Through the app I can also see in advance the names and profiles of the carers that will be attending the property. Amazing! Any concerns and they phone you to let you know. Very professional, thorough assessments, ongoing follow ups. They have gone above and beyond my expectations. Thank you so much to all the team.

Lifted is amazing care company. Since I started with them three weeks ago I feel I have gained so much independence. As lifted are flexible with the times I am able to manage my work, family and social life around my care.
The team are very helpful and understanding. They listened to my needs and built my care plan according to my needs.
The carers are very friendly and helpful, I have already met some lovely people.

My father needed help at short notice and Lifted were excellent at responding rapidly, getting paperwork and care sorted, arriving on time, being empathetic, and even being flexible when our needs changed. Considering our need was for only a short period, we could have been sidelined - the opposite was the case. We will definitely go back to the team if further care is needed. Highly recommended!

The care Lifted has provided for my father has been excellent, helping him stay in his home with support. The team are incredibly helpful when setting up the care and continuity with adjustments needed, and are always available. We would highly recommend the company

We have been working with lifted for a couple of months now to help look after my elderly relative with dementia related illness. By appointing the lifted team this enables us to keep my relative at home and independent for as long as possible. I find the carers very hardworking, honest and patient. The carers are punctual. They have a good understanding of my relatives needs and adapt were needed to give my relative the support required. They show compassion and empathy on a daily basis and look after my relative as if one of their own family members. My aunt in particular has taken a great liking to all team members and did in fact state ‘I’ve been out with the girls’ when asked what she had done on a day I had phoned her. As a family who live a long way from our relative it is reassuring to know that if there are any problems which arise (which at the moment is frequent) we are able to approach the team, and get a quick response, whether this is via email or over the phone. This team although relatively new, I would without hesitation highly recommend.

I cannot speak too highly of the quality of care I received from the young ladies who cared for me over the last two weeks. They were kind, courteous, cheerful, respectful and friendly.

My 86 year old Mum spent a short time in hospital and it happened just before we were due to head off on our 2 week holiday in Greece. I urgently felt that I needed to get something in place for somebody to keep an eye on Mum whilst we were away. I found lifted care on the internet and they were offering companionship care which I felt was what mum needed. The service was very prompt and Mum was assessed within a day or so and all was up and running very quickly. A lady by the name of Colette visited mum every morning for 2 hrs, she was always punctual and very friendly she would sit and chat to mum and also did any jobs for her that needed doing, also getting shopping. After Colette’s visit I was able to log into the Lifted care app and read how Colette’s visit to mum went, giving me the reassurance that mum was ok enabling us to enjoy our holiday. Thanks to Colette and all the team for their speedy very efficient service.

My carer is called Marcella.
She always arrives on time, clean and very smart looking. She is willing to do anything I ask. So far she has helped me with bathing and dressing, sorting out my clothes and helps me with skincare.
She makes the bed and does some general housework. She has even done some ironing at my request.
She has helped with changing broadband provider and with a New Zealand husband and many friends and some family there being able to keep in touch is very important,We all have a lot in common being all medically qualified so we have a lot to talk about.

Very impressed with the Lifted service. They have looked after my elderly mother very well when I have been away and kept me informed at all times. They were very careful to check that my mother had taken her medication and made sure that her needs were met. The carers who looked after my mother were very personable and pleasant, and were keen to make sure my mother was comfortable and well. I wouldn't hesitate to use Lifted again.

We needed immediate care for our fiercely independent 90 year old mother! After speaking to 6 different Care Companies and being disillusioned, I finally came across Lifted and straight away I knew they were different. From the first phone conversation to every day care, their service has been based on empathy, respect and most of all it's tailored to fit our mother and her personality. Every carer is so kind, and brings a bright and youthful attitude; it has completely reversed our mother's decline! The people who run Lifted are so full of youthful vigour (you'll notice this straight away) and their App makes life easier for all. This is definitely the future of caring.
