So supportive from start to finish with my journey. Really understanded the everyday struggles and put them into perspective. Had another member of family diagnosed through same consultant as they were so professional but also so easy to speak to.

I recently had an extremely positive experience with my ADHD assessment and felt genuinely reassured by the team throughout the entire process, especially as this was all new to me. From the beginning, the booking system and communication were clear, straightforward, and easy to manage, which made the experience feel smooth and well organised.

My clinician, Hazel (ADHD Specialist Nurse), was fantastic! She was warm, professional, and incredibly easy to talk to, even when discussing personal experiences I hadn’t previously shared. She gave me the time and space to think through my answers and made me feel completely listened to, understood, and respected throughout.

The initial assessment was thorough and lasted around 120 minutes, followed by questionnaires for myself, my partner, and my mother, which helped build a well-rounded picture of my experiences.

The follow-up call to discuss the outcome was particularly impactful. I was very keen to understand whether I had ADHD, and Hazel took the time to carefully walk me through the assessment, the questionnaires, and her findings. She explained how my brain works in a way that made sense to me and helped me understand why I’ve felt the way I have for so many years. It gave me a lot of clarity around experiences growing up that I hadn’t fully understood before.

Following this, I received a very detailed report outlining both my childhood and current ADHD traits, clearly presenting her professional findings. Hazel also guided me through next steps, pointing me towards helpful resources and ways to connect with specialists who can support me moving forward.

This has genuinely been one of the best things I’ve done for myself. Thank you to the entire team at Lighthouse!
