I felt that at the enquiry stage that I was being listened to & not being sold a standard package as were highlighted in on-line offers. I went out to several national & local companies for designs & quotes with LR & 1 other company engaging well. Bothe came & did a survey and I felt more comfortable with LR as it appeared to be engineering lead & I wanted a couple of specifics. 1 we couldn't achieve but other proposals were good. Unfortunately 1 small item was missed at install stage but we overcame it satisfactorily. A good price which has interested some of my neighbours too who are keenly watching our ROI. The installation team ( 26/3/26) ...for 3 scopes of work were great & very approachable.

Following a malfunction of an existing Solar PV System in Derbyshire. Light Renewables were excellent in identifying, arranging and replacing the faulty component in a friendly and efficient manner. My system is now back up and running. Big thanks to Michael, Ashton and Darryl. Highly Recommend.

I had an excellent experience with Light Renewables from start to finish.

The communication throughout the whole process was outstanding — clear, friendly, and professional at every stage. Everything was explained properly, and any questions we had were answered quickly and honestly.

The quality of the product and installation was excellent. The installation team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and left everything tidy once the job was completed. You can really tell they take pride in their work and care about customer satisfaction.

We are extremely happy with the overall service and would highly recommend Light Renewables to anyone considering solar panels, battery storage, or renewable energy solutions. A genuinely smooth and stress-free experience from beginning to end.

With energy prices just going up and up I started my journey to getting Solar Panels and Battery storage system installed.
I was initially a bit apprehensive but from a friend's recommendation I first contacted Light Renewables for a quote and soon after I became very impressed with the quick responses I was getting to my queries. As they were working nearby on my friend's installation I saw their work and all the installers were friendly and accommodating and working to high standards on the install.
This was the 'green light' I needed to pursue my quote through to the next stages and beyond. I then proceeded to get an on-site survey and again was dealing with a friendly surveyor and then after the survey I decided to progress to full install. A couple of weeks later I received my installation date and when that came it was a wet and windy day and so the installers arrived a bit late (which was fully understandable as bad weather, picking up equipment etc..) and they immediately started working on installing the panels. The bad weather did not deter them at all. The team, consisting of two panel installers and two electricians worked very hard all day with little or no breaks and this work ethic is very hard to find nowadays.
After a long day's work, the panels were installed but the electrician needed to come back to finish off the connecting of Battery storage system and commissioning. The next day the electrician came and finished the job and helped setup the access to the monitoring apps and explained everything.
To my surprise, the following day, the Light Renewables office emailed me a large number of documents in relation to the install. There was no chasing up from my side needed at all and no let up on their operations efficiency.

Now, i am in the process of getting my G99 certificate so that the excess electricity can be exported to the grid and help me pay for some of the upfront cost.

This could quite easily have been a very difficult journey and thanks to the Light Renewable Team who have made this journey so much stress-free and enjoyable.
Sure, there are cheaper quotes out there but with probably inferior battery technology but in the long run may end up costing more.

The setup that Daryl has made to his company is very admirable and impressive and the company communication is extremely streamlined and keeps you fully updated of the progress and the first class calibre of his staff (at least the ones I have met and I have no doubt the others that I have not met would be any different) who have helped him along the way are an much valued asset to his company and I would have no hesitation or reservations of recommending friends and family to Light Renewables for their Solar and Battery Storage needs as they met all of my expectations.

My thanks to Daryl, Mark, Michael, Jodi, Arron, Ashton, Sergey, Andy and Stuart who are all amazing, friendly people all working tirelessly to ensure the customer is integral to everything they do.

We recently had our solar and battery system installed by Light Renewables and the experience was excellent from start to finish.

From the very beginning they stood out compared to other companies we spoke to. They really listened to our requirements, carried out a detailed survey, and there was absolutely no pressure selling at any stage. Communication throughout was responsive and professional.

The installation was scheduled promptly and the team on site were outstanding … polite, conscientious, hardworking, and clearly took pride in their work. The quality of the installation is excellent and they left everything incredibly neat and tidy.

Post-installation support has also been great. All documentation and certification was provided quickly and the whole process felt very organised and efficient.

Fantastic company, from the first quote to the install everyone I dealt with was excellent and done everything in a polite and professional manner at a competitive price. On installation day they sent multiple teams to install a 24 panel system with a Tesla power wall three and it was complete by 2pm, really great job,all the workmen were a pleasure to deal with, very neat install and no mess left. can't recommend these guys highly enough!

I had a great experience with Light Renewable Energy. Their customer service was excellent, and the pricing was very competitive. A special thanks to the team who installed the Tesla Powerwall systems — they did a fantastic job, worked professionally, and paid great attention to detail. Highly recommended.

The friendly installation team and Brett the electrician turned up on time as planned. Panels and battery were fitted and fully functioning by the end of the day and have already produced 247Kwh's in the first two weeks. We have been using less than £1 of electricity per day since the Panels and battery were fitted half of that being the standing charge. Great value, excellent service.

Why did I choose Light Renewables....Pricing was keen, Warranties were superb but the main factor was attitude it was a simple as that. A No BS appraisal of options, tolerant of my stupid questions and so generous with his time. Fast forward to quote and install Daryl (the boss) arranged a first class team who were on site, clean, efficient and so professional. Special shout out to Stuart and Cameron but whole team were bang on. I have already made recommendations since my install 4 days ago and have no qualms recommending Light Renewables to you. Recommended by a friend as they used Light Renewables for their install. The company were quick to respond with a good value quote. The work completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Since fitting we realised that we needed the larger battery and so contacted the company, due to the high demand the company arranged a fitting date but then due to a cancelation arranged a new faster date. The installers arrived and were quick, polite and efficient in installing the new battery.
I would definetly recommend this company if you are thinking about having solar installed.

From start to finish this has been a great experience, No heavy sales pitch or putting down the competition like some others,
The survey was really well executed and everything was discussed. I knew exactly what should be happening cable routes locations, it was very thorough.
The execution was really slick, the roofers arrived and put up the panels in a morning, the electrician did a first rate job, really nice cable runs, discussion on equipment positions. There were no surprises.
Except how easy this team made the job.

Great from start to finish.
I was kept informed throughout, everyone I dealt with was friendly and from enquiry to installation it was quick.
It was also a great price.
Very happy.

I had storage batteries installed at the front of the house which had to be connected to my existing solar panels (purchased years ago from another supplier) on the roof and electricity meter in the basement. This was not an easy job especially on a very windy day.
Stuart and Liam were friendly, professional & EFFICIENT to say the least. They arrived at 8am and didn't leave til 6pm not stopping for breaks at all. This was a truly demanding (very heavy batteries carried over steps) and challenging install and they couldn't have handled it any better.

Further more I also spoke with Daryl, the MD, who picked up the phone on a Saturday morning and helped me with my questions. He was passionate about all things Solar and instilled confidence so I did not worry anymore.

To date I have spoken to 5 different people from Sales (Ricky) to support(Matt) from the company and each one has been helpful and easy to speak with.

Price wise - I am happy with what I paid and more so confident that if there are any concerns or issues with the products in the future the company will jump to solve them.
