Light Renewables レビュー

Five stars. Quality products, advice and service at a very competitive price - we are really happy with our end-to-end experience of having a large solar panel array and a battery installed in mid August by Light Renewables. The initial on-site quote (early July) and subsequent survey were completed quickly and professionally, with a fast lead time to installation - in fact the limiting factor was the DNO application approval (G99), and this timeframe was accurately factored in. The installation was planned to take 1 day but due to the very high temperatures, understandably the hard-working team were unable to mount all the panels, but they were able to return the following day to finish the job. The electrician was very professional, working with great diligence and patience to configure the battery etc and ensuring that all the cable runs were neat / hidden from view. 10 weeks on and there have been no issues - the panels and battery have worked really well since being installed and we have slashed our electricity bills. The post-installation admin and any queries were dealt with quickly by Light Renewables, meaning that we could start the solar export application process via our energy supplier (Octopus) and then the DNO. The DNO part was again the limiting factor, but 8 weeks after installation (mid Oct) our export tariff is now 'live' and we are earning 15p / kWh.

Great Solar Panel system and battery set up. Smooth installation and excellent aftercare. Highly recommend!

Communication was always prompt. Survey completed by two people and the details provided at quotation were clear, concise and very competitive. Chose Light Renewables to install and commission. A team of 5 completed the installation of 28 panels and a battery in less than 2 days. System operational and working well. Highly recommended company.

The guys at light were very straightforward and helpful. The process was kept easy and simple, allowing me to understand what I was getting into prior to my solar installation, and the work was completed incredibly quickly and effectively, they even went out of their way to explain what they were doing to me, as I was curious.

The customer service was to-the-point and efficient, there was no excessive sales tactics. These guys know what they're doing, know what the clients need, and deliver without fail.

What can I say? Very impressed with the service we received from Light Renewables. The quote was very competitive. They quickly booked the work in.We have today had 10 solar panels installed an inverter and battery .The roofers we’re very polite and worked hard. The Electrician too was great. Our system is working well.Thank you.

After a very successful initial solar installation by Light Renewables last July, I decided that I would like to extend my system to include my detached garage roof. At the same time, I wanted to pre-install wiring for an EV charger in the garage.
Daryl was brilliant. He personally suggested a way of combining the existing system with a second string on the garage. The installation date came very quickly after I agreed on the quote.
A large team was sent down on the day to enable the whole installation to be completed in a day. This included new fuse boxes, digging a trench to the garage from the house and ethernet cables to the garage.
The team was brilliant, friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. The team of roofers had the panels up in no time and then left Alex and Serhiy, the electricians, to wire up and complete the installation. Both excellent electricians who know their stuff and completed a neat job. I am very happy with the completed installation.
So, to summarise, my second experience with Light Renewables was equally as good as the first. I would highly recommend this company. They work to a high standard at a fair price and are very helpful and approachable.
In my view, a good company can be judged on its willingness to sort out any issues that occur after the bill has been paid. When I had a small problem with my installation, Daryl from LR personally took ownership of the problem and attended with a team to solve the issue successfully.

Great service from the whole team.

From the initial survey and site visit we found the straight talking honest approach of Daryl and Micheal instilled confidence that we had made the right choice.
We had seen several installers who had tendered but found this company offered reassuring approach.
We were given a choice of start dates and once chosen the team arrived promptly, courteously and worked efficiently.
Roof work completed and fitter took great care to ensure we were happy.
The two Electricians arrived halfway through the roof install, worked cleanly and kept us up to date seeking approval of positioning of equipment and cable runs.
Shout out to the Office team of Chloe and Matt for keeping me informed, Thank you to Ryan and Alex for electrical work.
Thank you Aaron for panel install, all worked extremely hard.
Kudos to Daryl for running a tight ship.

Very good service from Alex, Ryan, Jack and Callum

Extremely happy with the panels, battery, and car charger Light Renewables installed. Daryl assisted us in devising a solution that satisfied our requirements. The installation crew performed with remarkable professionalism. The fact that every cable was routed to best meet our needs rather than just what was simplest for them impressed me most.

Fantastic Team, sorted all the paperwork and installation out in approx 7/8 working days!

Insane speed, quality installation and top lads, 100% recommended and a easy 5/5!

Its been a pleasure LR, i will be and have already recommended you to friends and family.

Thanks Dary, Matt, Uncle Michael and the installation gang!

I'm happy to recommend this company. Everyone was efficient and understood their role in the process, so everything went smoothly and the customer experience was great. The install was done in one day and my queries were dealt with swiftly. My install including the cabling and inverter look great and I wouldn't have changed anything.

This kind of installation requires first class tradesmen on the ground. The crew that did the work on my house were highly motivated to do a top quality job without wasting any time while they were about it.

I have nothing but praise for Light Renewables. The price was better than the competition, saving me over £1000. The installation was astonishingly fast: just one week from quote to completion. And the customer service was incredible from start to finish. Most of their business comes from customer referrals, and I can see why: this is a GREAT company to do business with.

Fantastic job by light renewables im so Happy i went ahead with the quote, It was actually the cheapest which left me a bit skeptical but its been a fantastic experience. Special shout out to Chloe in the office and Alex for his Amazing Electrical work!!

Lightrenewables quoted for a high quality system at a competitive price, did a thorough onsite survey and the installation was on time and performed to a high standard. They even cleaned up afterwards! They are fully certified by MCS and insured through HEIS. A special shout out to Sergei who did a great (electrical) job!

We had 14 panels installed on various areas of our roof together with a batttery and inverter etc by
Lightrenewables who were recommended by a friend. They completed the full installation in one day with excellent workmanship and explained everything we needed to know regarding the operation of the system. A welldone job and at a reasoable cost.
We have already seen a reduction of electricity from the national grid, even on dull days.

Overall, I think they are very good company to deal with and competitively priced. John Murray was excellent, and probably the main reason I went with the company. I had about 8 quotes before I spoke to John and done plenty of research. There was no hard selling, he listened to what I wanted and his advice was accurate unlike many of the companies I spoke too. They were willing to personalise my solar installation and make it work with the shed I wanted them fitted on and the house.

When there was a delay in installation (due to illness), Daryl called me and explained everything and told me to contact him directly if there were any issues going forward. He also gave me an honest evaluation of my system and I think his advice was spot on. After speaking to him, I made some changes to my system which I’m glad I did.

On the day, the workmen were excellent. Tidy, efficient and very respectful. One of the electricians blew out the outside of a brick when drilling my garage wall (can easily happen). He repaired it and then came to see me about it. He was extremely apologetic and honest about what happened. I wasn’t worried about it because these things can happen, but I respected his honesty rather than trying to cover it up.

Sergio, the main electrician was excellent and explained the system at the end and offered to answer any questions I had.

If I am being completely honest, I would say the admin team could be a bit slicker. But, I would still strongly recommend the company and give them 5 stars. They were excellent with the things that matter most.

I would recommend them to friends and family and I will be back to them again for batteries in the future.

Thank you.

First we were a bit cautious as so many companies trying to grab a piece of the cake.
But from initial consultation, over clarity, communication and installation the support and craftsmanship was remarkable. Especially Sergio, Alex and their colleague were amazing at working fast, clean and highly professional in addressing last minute surprises and my wishes. Their colleagues on the roof were in and out in no time and after 4hrs all was up and running.
Just recently Daryl popped around to explain all settings and options! Great work!

We had solar panels and a battery installed by Light Renewables back in 2019, and since then have had two additional batteries added. Each installation went seamlessly, and we've been more than happy with the system, and with the support and advice we've had since. Everything was explained clearly and not in way full of jargon intend to baffle and confuse. We recently encountered some occasional inverter isolation faults, and the cause (not the fault of the equipment) was identified and resolved within the day. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Light Renewables.
