The videos for the lesson are blocked. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO LEARN????????

Blocked my background on google. It was guito from cars.

The only thing it does is make teachers have full control over the apps that you are using to block your internet and if they forget you are permanently banned from the internet and if you google basicly anything it gets blocked

I mean its not the best way of protecting kids i mean people after middle school should know to not talk to random people online so 2 stars to the wost but also not the best.

This application has apparently decided that anything and everything related to the Toronto Jazz Festival is inherently evil. That's how bad the filtering is.

I am a student, and this is my personal thoughts of living with a restrictive web fliter.

Linewize is a good idea in theory, but it falls short because it blocks much more than the essentials, Violent sites, games, etc. It blocks educational sites, and that is a problem, in addition it also flags harmless things, espically in the context of research for a project, like for example, if you looked up drugs for a ¨Dangers of Drugs¨ project, it would flag it-no matter the context BEHIND it. I think linewize should listen to the students and teachers who have to deal with this, and if they did, learning would be easier. But right now, I hate Linewize, and it is a horrible thing.

The Linewize stack has spyware inside the software and invades peoples privacy and is even stored and logged in cloud

It constantly tracks everything you do. It has no context. In a mandatory essay research on, say, WWII, if your search contains a word it doesn't like, it sends it to everyone in the district. It is able to watch your screen, close your tabs, turn off internet, and send everything you do to your teachers.

Linewise shows teachers a live view of student's devices, including at home. This is not a firewall, it remote desktop, that you can't turn off.
