“We were sold on LMB from the start with a great brochure and marketing material and a visit and chat directly from Lee to build our loft conversion. The price was competitive and there were no hidden costs which was something we were initially concerned about when embarking on the project. The builders themselves were an pleasure to have in the house, despite lockdown and home schooling. They built the loft to a high standard and were clearly very experienced and were able to use their experience to help provide us with advice on the design and layout. The other tradesmen (Plumber, electrician, tiler, carpenter) all did their job to a good standard and tidied and hoovered up every night before leaving. We had some issues with a leak as a result of not choosing to have a tin hat but Lee rectified the damage. We have had our loft space now for a few months and are delighted with the space. It is light and airy and the en suite bathroom is like stepping into a hotel bathroom every day. We did have a few issues with the guttering post build but Lee and the team were able to resolve these issues and LMB also provide a 12 month guarantee as well on structural work. The office are friendly and helpful too! Thanks LMB!

Lee and his team were fantastic from start to finish. Ricki was highly knowledgeable and had great ideas and Chris the site manager was PHENOMENAL, his work ethic and speed were exceptional. The organisation of the different trades was done well & took the stress out of a big renovation whilst we were working. We are now moving & will have the LMB team back for our new house! LMB completed our loft extension in May/June 2021 and we couldn’t be happier with the result. We original chose LMB as we were very happy with the price and had seen previous testimonies supporting their good work. All the way through we were kept up to date and informed. Apart from the initial deposit all other payments were made direct to the trades that had finished that part of the job. We had been given a payment plan, which was followed to the T and there were no surprises. All the trades people that came to the house were tidy, polite and all very professional, top of their game. The end result after 8/9 weeks, a beautiful double bedroom and bathroom created in a unused space that used to house the Xmas decorations!
I would recommend LMB to anyone who is considering a loft extension, we definitely made the right decision to use them.

I wasn’t to sure who to choose to do my loft, then I met lee from lmb. Him and his team are first class. From the off lee kept me up to date on all the progress and stages that his team were at from getting the deliveries on site to the install rite the way through. Having a loft installed is very daunting but with having the lmb team on it it put me a ease. I’m very happy with the end result they have produced and would highly recommend anybody think of having a loft try out these guys first as you will not be disappointed. We’re delighted with our new loft space. LMB delivered true to their word and went to great lengths to tailor the project to meet our budget. Lee has a great team, good supply chain and numerous friendly trades who we felt very comfortable with. They worked incredibly hard during an unquestionably tough time for the construction period (lockdown/ supply of materials) and still managed to meet expectations. We would be completely happy to recommend. Any problems were quickly sorted and Lee is very genuine and reassuring figure.

We are over the moon with our new loft conversion! From the start, LMB provided a highly professional and efficient service. Lee’s communication, the support from the office and architect’s plans all exceeded our expectations from the get-go, and that set the tone for the rest of the project really. The speed at which the main structure went up was so impressive. There are many other trades that came in to work at different stages of the project lifecycle, and they were all well organised. The quality of the workmanship of the vast majority of these trades (particularly the roofers, tilers and carpenter) has been brilliant and it’s allowed us to achieve the finish that we wanted. The loft space is a wonderful addition to our home. So if you’re also thinking of taking the roof off your house to create some extra room, we’d definitely recommend LMB!

LMB recently did a loft conversion & bathroom refitting for us. Lee and team were extremely professional and did a really good job. Lee was happy to accommodate all requests from us and gave us what we wanted. I would happily recommended LMB to others.

We have just had a rear Dorma loft conversion completed and are really happy with the final result!! LMB were excellent and kept us up to date and informed throughout the project, with anticipated timelines and step by step progress. In particular Lee was very personable and available, keeping the project on track and offering reassurances when needed . Even before the build started we were impressed with the complete service provided by the company, who were able to answer any questions raised. They completed the project within the estimated time and budget although we went with some optional upgrades during the build. There were, as I'm sure with most builds, some delays and unforeseen set backs, but these were dealt with quickly and properly. The standard of the trades people was also excellent and we could not fault them for their professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend LMB and would be happy to engage with them in the future.

We have just had our loft conversion completed by LMB Construction. Lee has an excellent team working for him from the first and second fix carpenters, tilers, plumbers, and plasterers, they were all so friendly, trust worthy and very professional. The whole project from start to finish was a success. If i needed anything done i would speak to Joanne who worked in the office and she would sort it out straightaway. Joanne and i have never met but she made me feel like we'd known each other for a long time. I would highly recommend LMB for construction works on your home.

Our loft conversion has changed our lives, from start to finish the customer service, workmanship, level of expertise and everything in between has been outstanding. They have provided us with not only a new home for our family to grow but the most positive, happy and stress free experience which is more than I could have asked for.

The process went so smoothly, Lee gave us all the information we needed and always kept us in the loop and Joanna was always available for us to ask questions, nothing was ever too much.

I have recently had a 2 storey side extension with a rear extension, I spoke to a number of companies and asked for valuable advice as at first I was not sure whether to have a loft conversion or the side, after meeting Lee and seeing what we could achieve, I liked his portfolio and the high standard of work on show, I decided to go with LMB, I am glad I did all the builders were great, they worked around my family and still enabled us to carry on as usual, the works are now complete and my family love the extra space, I would like to recommend LMB and I would definitely use them again in the future, thank you Lee and the team.

We had a loft conversion fitted by Lee and his team ten years ago. Lee was very professional and attended our home regularly whilst the works were in progress. His team were always punctual, well mannered and tidy. Our loft conversion was completed to a very high standard and we have encountered no issues with any of the works completed. The deadlines that were set were consistently met and we are so pleased with the two extra bedrooms, bathroom, cupboard space and landing. The project was completed on time with no complications. We have recommended LMB to friends and family. The price we paid was very competitive. Excellent work LMB.

Having had a loft conversion in 2016 with LMB, we are extremely pleased with how it looks 4 years later. Conversion has provided us with a large master bedroom with an ensuite. The bedroom is as perfect as it was when first completed, no settling cracks or faults . Lee the director was very helpful in our decision making and when any issues arose, resolved them to our satisfaction .

I recently had my gorgeous loft conversion built by the team at LMB.

It started with Lee coming round to look at the space and have a chat about what I visualised.. He explained my options and gave me some good advice and ideas. Lee outlined the procedure, costs and timescales then an architect visited to show me the plans.
I decided to go for it and didn't have to wait long for the work to commence.

Rob and Tony began the job, turning up early each morning to create the framework and fit floorboards, they worked flat-out every day (Lee's builders do not take endless tea breaks!) on one occasion Rob even stayed late on a Friday evening to finish a particular task as it was due to rain at the weekend. Everything was taken in and out of the loft via the scaffolding so there was no mess, and it wasn't as noisy as I expected (I work from home and there was no disturbance.)

The carpenters, plumber, electrician and tile-fitter were all courteous and conscientious and the project was actually completed ahead of schedule which was wonderful - once it was safe for me to go up and have a look I just couldn't wait to start enjoying my spacious new master bedroom and en-suite!

I was able to chat with the workmen about all the little details - right down to how many power sockets I needed and which way I wanted the doors to open. Nothing was too much trouble.

The only "messy" part of the job was when the ceiling was knocked through to install the new staircase (which was expertly built off-site and a work of art!) You can't avoid a bit of sawdust, but the guys thoroughly cleaned and tidied up after themselves - Rob even vacuumed the rest of my house when he took the protective polythene away, and my driveway was jet-washed for me after the skip was collected!

Having my loft done was one of the best decisions I've ever made and money well spent. The bedroom is so well insulated I don't notice any traffic noise (I live on a busy main road) and the temperature is always fine - not too hot in the summer and not too cold in the winter. I sleep really well up there! There is also loads of under-eaves storage space for the stuff I would normally keep in the attic.

In addition, I have increased the value of my home over and above the money I spent on the conversion. I've turned my humble terraced house into a 3 storey 4 bedroom 2 bathroom townhouse!

I would always recommend LMB to other people in fact I have already recommended them to a few friends.

Unmistakably.. one of the best companies I’ve ever been involved with! Right from the start to finish LMB showed complete transparency and professionalism when setting out plans to build our loft conversion.
Every small detail.. to what sort of bathroom suite I wanted, was done with absolute care. I felt no pressure whatsoever during this process, and on some occasions.. changed my mind during some aspects of the build! LMB were so accommodating, the customers needs to them, always came first!
The whole team worked hard, ensuring that everything was to my specification. This project was worth every penny! and exceeded all my expectations! A big thank you to Lee, Brandon, Steve, Eddie and everyone else who worked on the loft. A job well done guys, Thank You 😊

Lmb did our loft conversion in croydon and we were very happy with the quality and price. The tradesman they used were experienced, professional and tidy and the whole project was managed well by Lee. LMB have a high street shop in Shirley Croydon which has been around for many years so I knew they were an established company and that provided me that extra peice of mind.
