LMB Group built our loft extension this year, we are very pleased with the results.
All contractors and LMB team are added to a whatsapp group just before the the job starts and its very easy to contact the team.

The sales team were excelled and very clear on what we should expect.
Our kick off meeting with Ollie was clear and he explained the timeline and what to expect.
All tradesmen were lovely and very approachable.

I would recommend LMB Group to friends if they were looking to have a loft extension

We are very happy with our loft and the quality of the work is fantastic!
There were some delays in the build  but these were overcome with through the use of a dedicated group WhatsApp which directly links you with the office and relevant tradesperson. The professionalism and quality of work done by the contractors made it all worthwhile. Overall, we would recommend LMB for your loft conversion project as they are a trustworthy team!

I live in a semi-detached house and we recently had our loft converted into a bedroom and bathroom (hip to gable plus rear dormer). I'm glad we used LMB and I would highly recommend them. Like any major building project there were a few snags along the way but nothing that couldn't be sorted.

Ricki the saleswoman was our first point of contact, she was able to visit quickly, answered our questions and put our minds at ease about going ahead with the project - after all, it's a big decision! Next up we met Ollie our project manager, who was with us before, throughout and after the work, answering more questions, swiftly dealing with any issues that arose, visiting the house to see how it was coming along, arranging for skip transfers and so on.

I'd like to give a special shout out to Ashley the builder and his team, Harry the roofer, and the four plasterers - they went above and beyond and worked dawn to dusk to get the job done to a high standard. Most of the tradesmen were considerate and tidied up after themselves nicely, for example the carpenter did a great job minimising dust in my kitchen while installing the fire doors. The project was finished sooner than I expected which worked out perfectly because I have family staying right now (they are amazed at how beautiful everything looks).

The WhatsApp group made everything easy and smooth, keeping us all informed on payments due, who's coming on what day, photo updates and so on. The project was mostly within budget, there were a few extras I wanted that I didn't account for at the start (for example a recessed wall in the bathroom for that luxury feel) but I made sure to put back some money for these situations just in case. Overall we are very happy, it's really unlocked our house's potential, the extra space is invaluable and it's pure bliss having a second bathroom!

We recently had our loft converted, and despite some challenges, the results are fantastic. The builder's professionalism and craftsmanship were exceptional. They communicated well, kept the workspace clean, and handled unexpected issues with a positive attitude and effective solutions.

Really nice and friendly team. We met the director for the initial project discussion and he answered all the questions we had. Very soon after the meeting we received a quote with a really detailed breakdown of costs. The project manager was great at problem solving. The trades people were all brilliant, particularly the bathroom tiler and electricians. The office team were responsive on the group WhatsApp for things like skip change overs. Philomena in the office has also been great support in getting things over the line with snag.

After 3 years we had a leaking gutter. LMB came and fixed it straight away. Fantastic!

We have had the best experience with this building company all the way through from start to finish. I was initially recommended by a neighbour, after receiving half hearted quotes from other companies who did not seem to make it easy, at least for someone like myself with no building experience. Lee Murphy and his team took care of every aspect of my loft conversion including all the plans/permits etc and stuck to the time frame quoted, in fact earlier and bang on budget. I have always been dubious when it comes to the building trade, but LMB have nothing but impressed me with their professionalism. The team kept me up to date embracing WhatsApp as a line of communication which I though was very effective as I always knew what was going on and could communicate if I had any concerns. I have no reservations recommended LMB, and must mention, I had a small niggle after the finish which was taken care of promptly and efficiently, which in my book a good indicator of how a business is run.

LMB have undertaken the conversion of a tricky loft space to create a great new bedroom with walk-in wardrobe for us. We have had a very good experience - the project has come in on tim and tk the price we were quoted, which has been reassuring in what has been our first ever building project. Following the initial helpful visit from Ricki in the sales team and the quote being issued, we asked a great deal of questions and Ricki and Lee were very patient in answering everything to the detail we needed, to give us comfort in making our choice to go with LMB.

One of the best things is that the tradespeople are all lined up to come in at scheduled points, all coordinated by Ollie the Project Manager who has always been contactable by WhatsApp and has helped to sort out any issues arising, including some late changes to the proposed design at our request which he was able to accommodate. Likewise, Philomena in the office has always been on hand to answer questions about our project whenever we have needed. The efficiency of this process, and knowing when to expect people on site has made things much less stressful.

Being part of a project WhatsApp group with all the trades was also great as it meant we have always had the reassurance of being able to ask questions and raise any queries with Ollie or any of the project team. The workmanship has been of excellent quality - the build team have been extremely efficient and the quality of finishes, particularly by Jermaine the carpenter, are of a very high standard.

We would recommend LMB for anyone in the south London area thinking about getting their loft converted.

Dorma Loft Conversion
LMB were great from start to finish. For what could have been an incredibly stressful time, LMB made my experience of a major building project relatively painless. Yes, there were issues, which anyone would expect on such a venture, but LMB were quick to respond and put things right (even going as far as sending flowers to my neighbours to apologise for excess noise from the scaffolding).
Ricki, the sales rep and the first person I met from LMB, was friendly, knowledgeable and understood my requirements whilst coming up with some great ideas to incorporate into the quote.
The quote wasn’t the cheapest I received, but I felt reassured by the obvious professionalism that came from Ricki and the accompanying documentation which broke down each element of the build to let me know where my money was going.
Ollie, the project manager, visited and gave the impression that he and LMB cared that my loft was constructed to the best quality and that he’d be overseeing every aspect of the build. He explained what should be happening and when and kept me posted on deviations from the original plan.
The trades were efficient, professional and ensured all finishes were of the highest quality, and they treated my house with respect which was very important for me. I’d like to give a special mention to Ryan (and Harry) who built the main structure. He provided good advice and genuinely cared that I had a good experience and that the loft and bathroom ended up being a great living space.
All of the above was made easy to understand and manage due to the excellent WhatsApp Group that LMB set up with me and all trades included so we could keep up to date on progress and ensure there were no clashes of opposite trades (e.g. plumber and electrician on the dame day).
I would absolutely recommend LMB to anyone considering a loft conversion.

LMB are a group of specialists who pool together to offer a centrally managed client experience for loft conversions.
They have professional builders, electricians, plumbers, roofers, tilers, scaffolders, window fitters, staircase specialists, carpenters and decorators all involved in your project with a project manager to check timing and quality of work.

I recently had a loft conversion done by LMB and I am so happy with the end result which has completely transformed my home. 
The conversion added an extra bedroom and an en-suite whilst maintaining vital storage space in my home.
It was quite a difficult project due to layout of the roof and size of the house but LMB managed to work around any issues and have given me the space I had dreamed of, all their suggestions worked and completely maximised the space available. 
All of the trades teams were very professional, clean, tidy and respectful and all work was completed to a very high standard.
LMB set up a what’s app group for myself the project manager Ollie and all the tradesmen involved so communication was fantastic, you can put any questions/queries on there which are answered in a timely manor. Also all the timings ect for the various different trades were communicated through here. I really liked this level of communication and it really swayed my choice when deciding who to go with for the build. Ollie the project manager visited my home on many occasions to check on progress whilst managing all of the work timings.
I would highly recommend LMB and would use them again in the future.

Our build was completed by Ashley’s team, who were excellent, taking care of any issues, deliveries etc and ensuring that all was left clean and tidy at the end of each day. All other contractors were likewise very professional.
Our only problem was the large amount of broken tiles following the scaffolding being taken down. However, this was put right by our roofer (Harry) within 24 hours, avoiding any further damage due to bad weather.
Overall, we are very happy with the finished project and would fully recommend them.

Our project manager Ollie was very knowledgeable, was very pleased with his inspection at the end of snags and how these were resolved to ensure a high finish.
Communication was carried out via WhatApp between all trades, PM, admin team and myself which worked really well.

Lee and his team are a great bunch and very professional, always willing to answer even the smallest of queries. Friendly and reliable and would recommend to anyone.

LMB did a great job in my house renovation, which included total ground floor and first floor renewal. They use high quality professionals and were able to finish the work in time, also keeping up with expectations via project planning. I liked it so much that I’m already planning future work for a loft conversion!

Did the individual trades do a good job - Yes.
Are there other loft companies who act with more integrity and professionalism - Probably.
Would I recommend LMB-lofts to others - No.

We had a loft conversion done. The Team were very quick. They were very professional and helpful. I thought it was going to be really messy and more disruptive but they made sure everything was covered up and cleaned everything up. Would definitely recommend.

We are very please with our loft conversion. The job involved replacing a loft room and eve storage with an L shaped dormer to accommodate one large en suite bedroom and an office. The LMB team and office were supportive thoughout the process. The craftsmanship was good and we've had a lot of compliments on the extra space. The project involved working with other contractors and the LMB team worked collaboratively with them. The Whatsapp group meant we were always updated and communication was always quick.
