Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!
Freshness has always been at the heart of what we do. We bake around the clock to ensure our customers receive the very best cupcakes and cakes for every occasion. A commitment that still defines who we are today.
We care deeply about the experience each customer has with Lola’s. From baking and decorating, to carefully loading orders onto our own fleet of dedicated drivers, every step is designed to make sure each delivery is as special as it should be. The staff at Lola’s Selfridge are RUDE
The staff at Lola’s Selfridges Birmingham are terrible. From first interaction too inquiring about ingredients the guy who served me was just rude dismissive and I felt like an inconvenience. I have had similar experiences at this Birmingham based Lola’s throughout the year. It was Never ever like this just so gutted how customer service can ruin your whole experience off wanting too go back and purchase. The staff are rude have attitude and you are made too feel rushed when picking out what cake or cupcakes you want too purchase. Thumbs downs. There needs too be some serious staff training or someone from the company come do an inspection

Thank you for taking your time to share your feedback with us here.
It seems this may be in regards to your recent emails with our team about updates to our loyalty program made earlier this year.
We are very sorry that you were not aware of these changes before you visited us in store recently to try to claim the birthday offer in store that we had previously given with the old version of the Love Club.
Members on our new rewards club, instead of claiming an item in store only on the birthday date, are now given bonus points on their birthday directly to their account that they can use over a longer period of time and can use in store or online.
To be eligible for those points, you need to have been a member and have added your birthday into your new rewards club account at least 30 days before.
We notified all of the customers on our Love Club about the transition to the new rewards scheme and of all of the relevant changes to how you earn and spend points, including this update to our birthday bonus, via email earlier this year.
As we understood you were very disappointed with not being offered something in store as you were in previous years and as you had not been granted the points since you had not put your birthday into your account, my colleague kindly added these points for you directly so you can still have access to the birthday rewards you are due.

Birthday cake
The birthday cake that was ordered was a bit hard and didn't have that soft texture as before; I was disappointed. However, the Oreos were very tasty.

The cake was amazing. My step son's favourite and worth every penny. Delivery was fast, good communication and arrived beautifully boxed. Second time we have ordered this cake and it was just as amazing and delicious as the first. We will be using Lola's again. 100% recommend them. They are worth every penny!

I’ve been an Elite member with Lola’s…
I’ve been an Elite member with Lola’s and mostly order online. I love how easy and convenient it is to browse and place an order, especially when I need a cake for a special occasion. 🎂💕 There’s always a lovely selection to choose from, and the Elite perks are a nice bonus. Overall, I’ve had a good experience ordering online with Lola’s.

My wedding, all staff were kind and helpful and cake was very well packaged. Cake was amazing and very moist and delicious. All guests enjoyed the cake and commented on how delicious it was.

Heavenly Chocolate Cake
We have purchased Lola’s cakes in the past, they have gone down a treat, how ever this particular cake was alittle disappointing. It was extremely sickly and no one was able to finish their slice. Too rich and not liked by a wide range of chocolate lovers.

We’re very sorry to hear that your recent cake fell short of expectations, particularly as you have enjoyed our bakes in the past.
Our Chocolate Heaven cake is finished with a chocolate ganache icing, which does have a richer and more indulgent flavour. If you prefer something lighter, we would recommend trying one of our cakes with a cream cheese or mascarpone icing, which may be more suited to your taste.

Amazing and fesh…
The quality remains as excellent and fresh as ever, and I have been a loyal customer of Lola's Cupcakes for many years. I recently purchased a birthday cake for my son's 15th birthday; he is a great fan of carrot cake, and I believe Lola's makes the best version available. Many guests inquired about where I had purchased the cake and expressed an intention to order from Lola's themselves. I also appreciate the new ability to collect my orders from a refrigerated locker pick up point. This service saves me both time and money, and it spares me from traveling into Birmingham city centre, which I have always found to be overwhelming due to the busy crowdand traffic. This is a wonderful idea by Lola's.

Delicious cake and brilliant online ordering service …
I always use the online ordering and the delivery service that Lola’s - so easy to use - you choose the date of delivery and on the day are given a time slot - the delivery drivers are always friendly and I have never been let down with the service - I chose the red velvet cake which was moist and delicious as always - I loved the added flap to the packaging which made getting the cake out of its box so much easier
