The two singers and accompanist were very professional. They were on time, dressed appropriately and with the relevant certificate for the piano. Their performances were magical and enhanced the service immeasurably. They sung Ava Maria, She and Hallelujah, the last one with the congregation joining in. It was all very moving.

From the first contact with London funeral Singers, I knew I had made the right choice. Briony was compassionate and helpful. Knowledgeable and experienced.
Nothing seemed to be a problem.
Communication throughout was great.
They liaised directly with the church organist, which takes away so much pressure.
On the day, Helen, the soloist was outstanding and so many people commented about how good a singer she was and what a difference having a soloist made to the funeral service.

I will never forget the sensation of hearing you sing Canticle of the Turning. You carried us so confidently to a place of beauty, strength and hope. I have no doubt my father's spirit heard it too. Your performance of Dad's favourite hymn expressed so well what he sought in life and what brought him joy. It was a real blessing. 

Briony was a pleasure to work with. We got a small choir and person to play the piano and both made all the difference to the service. The pianist and singing made the funeral so special and was a fitting tribute to my Dad who loved music. We would definitely recommend the London Funeral Singers.

I couldn't believe it! After a last minute unforeseen cancellation for our funeral singer and with no one from the parish available, we had no one to lead the congregation. One call to Bryony, and within minutes we had a confirmation and a singer rebooked with 2 days' notice. Professional, polished and incredible singing talent, it was a stressless way to have a singer at the last minute for my Father's funeral. Thank you, forever grateful.

The booking process with Briony, who handled my unique request with empathy and understanding, was seamless. I was navigating this arrangement for the first time, and her guidance was invaluable. The music at my father's funeral, performed by Belinda and Alexandra, was profoundly beautiful. Their performances added a deeply touching element to the ceremony, which many attendees found moving. I am immensely grateful for their efforts in learning and beautifully performing the songs in Spanish. It was a tribute that will be remembered by all who were present. I came across The London Funeral Singers website following the death of my son in April 2023. My enquiry was responded to immediately and after speaking to Briony, we decided to have a quartet, a solo in the chapel followed by a gospel singer at the graveside.

Briony liaised with us with great sensitivity (and the funeral director) and her attention to detail was exceptional. She was able to incorporate changes easily showing great flexibility within the two weeks whilst we planned the funeral.

My son loved music and the singers didn’t disappoint. They blended in with the attendees and it was as if they were fully a part of the gathering. The singing can only be described as ‘exquisite’ and there was a balance of intimacy, warmth and professionalism that was commented on by all the attendees.

Such was the experience that a year later in April 2024 we had Helen the soloist to sing two songs at the memorial service held at home.

Having sung the solo at the funeral, her presence at the memorial gave us a sense of continuity. Her singing was emotionally expressive and set the tone for the informal service. Again there was a balance of warmth and professionalism.

At such a sensitive & vulnerable time, reliability is important and our experience was everything we wanted and more. The compliments from our attendees haven’t stopped.

I cannot praise the service highly enough and without hesitation would recommend The London Funeral Singers.

It was wonderful working with Briony to make arrangements for our mother's funeral. Briony was empathetic and supportive and really took the time to understand what we wanted in terms of choice of songs for the service. She selected a wonderful Soloist, Belinda for the church service. Belinda had the voice of an angel and she sang every hymn beautifully. When she sang Ave Maria, it touched every heart in the room. Words cannot express how special it was for us. Our deepest gratitude to Briony and Belinda for helping us give our mother the most serene and graceful farewell.

Penny and Briony responded with efficiency and diplomacy to deliver on my request. Four incredible singers and an organist performed beautifully and we received many compliments. I have already recommended the London Funeral Singers to someone as they were so brilliant.

We booked a choir of 4 for my Dad's funeral and they exceeded our expectations. Their rendition of Days by The Kinks was amazing and everyone spoke so highly of them.

Simply excellent, from initial contact through to arranging the music, to the Singers and Musicians performing at the Requiem Mass. We could not have asked for more.

Thanks you so much for everything. The choir were amazing and sang so beautifully. They definitely enhanced the impact of the funeral and we’re incredibly grateful to have chosen your company to perform for us. It may have felt like a risk at first but it definitely paid off in the end.

I would recommend getting the 8 person choir with an organist and don’t hold back on asking them to edit to hymn to suit the feeling of the service! They are experts at what they do and it shows!
