Very disappointing – two years of chasing and still unresolved

We spent a considerable amount of money with London Roof and Guttering having new gutters installed, but unfortunately the work has not performed as it should.

When it rains, water pours out of the gutters and runs directly against the wall, causing serious concern about possible water damage.

What makes this particularly disappointing is that we have been chasing them for around two years to get the problem properly resolved. Despite numerous calls, messages and repeated promises, we are still having to pursue them.

After spending so much money, we expected the guttering to be fit for purpose and any problems with the installation to be dealt with promptly. Instead, we have been left with an ongoing issue for two years.

We simply want London Roof and Guttering to take responsibility, return to inspect their work and finally put the problem right.

I will update this review if they resolve the matter satisfactorily.

I've had the pleasure of hiring Steve on two occasions, and both times he efficiently resolved the problems with grace and punctuality, providing a fair and reasonable estimate. Unlike many other roofers who throw around exorbitant quotes, Steve is absolutely reliable and genuine. Remarkably, after his first job for me, he didn't even ask for payment immediately—I had to actively pursue him for months just to get his bank details to pay him. This truly reflects his integrity and dedication, not driven by greed, though he certainly earns every bit he charges. I have full confidence in Steve as a contractor, and his expertise is commendable.

Steve responded very quickly to quote for a broken drainpipe and replaced it the same week. His price was very reasonable and I would not hesitate to use him again

Steve and his team carried out the annual maintenance on the roof which is in two parts so a fair bit of work, the work is essential as the roof gathers alot of waste. I use this company all the time now for the past 4 years for maintenance and repairs as Steve and his team know this kind of roof and what to do about anything that goes wrong as well as regular upkeep

Gutter cleaning
I have used this company 3/4 times over past 2 years . I’m always satisfied with Steve’s work and he remains my go to person for roof or gutter problems.

Steve was great, he did the job fantastically and even helped with our roof by fixing a tile and giving good advice. Really recommend!

Very pleased with our gutter replacement.

I have used Steve twice.. both times he came and politely fixed the issue without any fuss or delay and gave a very honest and decent quote. He is 100% trustworthy and not greedy like a lot of roofers who give silly quotes.. infact the first time Steve completed the job he left without asking for payment ..l had to chase him for months for bank details to send him his money.. that's a true sign of an honest hard working man..not money hungry although he deserves every penny. He is a contractor l trust completely and his knowledge is very good.
