really love it . so easy to use . does every thing and more . very pleasurable. really exceeded my expectations

I start trying another tools, i´ve 9 different business, all digital, lovable makes me feel happy because i just finish all jobs i start, in a easy, understandable and clear way. I´m not a builder, but makes sense anyone can build following the instructions.

Lovable erstellt zwar optisch ansprechende Websites, diese sind jedoch technisch nicht sinnvoll exportierbar. Die sichtbare Website entsteht erst durch einen Lovable-internen Build- und Hosting-Prozess.
Wer – wie ich – davon ausgeht, dass man nach der Erstellung eine unabhängige Website (HTML/CSS/JS) für das eigene Hosting erhält, wird enttäuscht. Ohne weiteres Lovable-Hosting ist die Website praktisch nicht nutzbar.
Für reine Lovable-Hosting-Nutzer ok, für alle anderen: unbedingt vorher klären.

good software, but now with others coming its getting expensive to use

So Ive been using lovable.dev to build my web app for about a month now. And from what ive been able to accomplish, simply by inputting prompts, is pretty cool. There are other places that do the same exact things, even before Lovable.dev but this was by far the most user friendly at the time of starting my project.

Unfortunately, like all good things, they come to an end. Once I realized that I was not receiving my daily 5 credits after signing up for their PRO paid plan, and wondering why ive also had to top up 3x in 1 month, I began to run analysis on credit usage. Here is what I found:

1. Their paid plans offer an additional 5 daily credits for free, up to 150, on top of your monthly credits. This is true for only about 50% of the time. Many days received no daily credits.

2. Bugs and errors are extremely expensive on credit usage. They advise to be very descriptive when giving prompts to their AI. So, from the beginning, ive been using detailed and structured ChatGPT prompts, copy and pasted into Lovable's AI dev tool, and we all know how annoyingly detailed ChatGPT can be. Still, Lovable's codes have repeated bugs for the simplest of coding tasks, that end up costing 10, 20, 30, additional credits at a time to fix. One time, I used 30 credits on 1 simple UI fix after Lovable's dev tool got stuck in a loop trying to fix the issue for over 20 minutes. To give you a flooring on how that relates to real dollar value... that is about 30% of 1 months credit allowance, on their paid plan of 100 credits per month.

3. For some odd reason, when you are prompting their AI to create or fix 1 thing, it likes to break something else that was working, in a completely different area. For instance, when creating or fixing a UI/UX feature, a previously working Auth feature will then be broken when you next try to use it. Effectively costing you even more credits to fix that issue as well. Even when prompting for it to be surgical with coding on specific issues, it still breaks things that shouldnt even be touched. Im pretty sure this is by design, to get users to spend more credits.

4. Ive been speaking with their support "team" (and AI bot named "Sam") and initially Dam told me that I had used all my credits for 1 complete year, within 1 month. Which isnt even possible as they dont give you yearly credits up-front. They stagger them monthly. After a frustrating conversation, "Sam" apologized and said I was right. I then asked for a detailed daily/monthly credit usage report. Which is not unreasonable, as it would act as a receipt for their credit currency. However, I was told "A live representative would be replying to you shortly".... still waiting on that 2 days later.

Simply put, its a great tool for very simplistic websites/apps where you dont need to spend many credits. But theres something very fishy going on with their credit usage, their credit allowances, and those very suspicious bug loops created by the very tool that is supposed to be assisting you.

For that, I have to give it 2 stars. As I have very low trust in Lovable Dev tools at this moment.

I use lovable platform it is amazing

Building apps and websites used to feel out of reach, but Lovable has completely changed the game. It makes the process so smooth that anyone can do it. The possibilities are truly infinite. it really lets your creativity run wild. Honestly, an excellent tool!

Using lovable app through a free plan is absolutely 💯 incredible and I am yet to see any other, beating the joy of using lovable app with daily credits without any harassment to upgrade to a paid plan. Lovable app is truly lovable above all other app makers.

This is the easiest app to use to build other apps.

I love the ui & workflow transformation when prompts are been passed

Lovable gets you only 70% of the way—then traps you in an endless cycle of fixes that break other things. I spent hundreds on credits chasing a finished project that never came.
The Breaking Point
After months of frustration, I migrated everything to a proper development setup. Now? Everything finally works. No more bugs, no more broken features, no more burning money on endless prompts.
Bottom Line
Lovable sells a dream but delivers a money pit. If you want a working product, skip the AI promises and build it right from day one.

Eu gosto do Lovable constroi tudo sem esforço basta inserindo um prompt.

Plataforma super intuitiva e super friendly para pessoas que não tem qualquer conhecimento com códigos. É surpreendente o que é possivel realizar e ativar aqueles projetos que estavam na gaveta. Estou super motivado e utilizo a plataforma todos os dias.
Infelizmente assinar/comprar creditos é um valor um pouco alto devido a conversão do dolar.

How easy it is to make sites but i wish that you had infinite credits

Lovable the worst AI I have worked with for 6 weeks try CURSOR and Keep Control
I have spent 6 weeks developing a streaming app with Lovable. They are my far the worst AI I have dealt with. let me first explain In my country I was voted the top IT professional working for the biggest IT Companies in France and Germany and the biggest broadcaster in the UK and South Africa. So before Ai became a thing we already did using big data. So after spending over 3000 credits and helping Lovable by providing deep broadcast insights of over 30 years providing full code and images and designs for Loveable to replicate I saw a pattern. I worked up to 16hours a day using Lovable to complete this project but it just became longer and more frustrating.I thought after a maximum 2 weeks things would have been finished and testing for bugs. I saw a trend after a few hours Loveable hallucinates editing the wrong app and had to stop it and point out the error.I have a few integrated Apps for streaming that I am developing. I also noticed it was doing this more often. They fix then they break with a polite apology. Then they do it more often because I had to renew credits every 2nd or third day pushing me into $200 tiers for every 3days of work. So they saw I was willing to pay more having already spent 3000 credits and renewing for another 800 credits. Then Yesterday after a 12 hour stint they broke everything. I had to revert and spend 8hours to get back to the place where they broke it initially. Today Jan 31 2026 they broke it again. I have had this continues breaking of my apps on a daily basis for completed work over 6 weeks non stop.Simply by cross contamination across all my Apps. Then I asked them I want to disable auto approve to keep control of the coding, but they refused because thats the way they screw you over. Whether they mess up or do a good job you will pay. And dont think of moving because they will give you the bare bones but guys like me know how to go around them to get all my code and API's. So be warned complex integrations is not the forte of Loveable give them a miss unless you want to do simple websites which does not require great AI skills. You have been warned!!
