People of Asian origin speaking good English contact you on other dating apps using fake profiles and fake pictures (often also found on lots of dating or porn sites). After some initial contact using Google Chat or another they suggest using one of the various apps this company controls where "online translation" is offered. In short you pay a lot for translations. From then on it becomes a stupid oneside communication with occasional "personal pictures or videos" in the hope to keep a conversation (and cash) flowing.
These scammers are low quality and inconsistencies in their stories are easy to spot. I tested them by posting high quality translations of some messages in Japanese ( made by a Japanese speaker) as images. When the person realized I was avoiding the costs it all went dead pretty quickly.
A frightening aspect was that the company's "prime" translation service claimed to be "semi human". A creepy idea that someone would read genuine private messages.
Stay away from EASNS and similar apps.

It's a scam. Like other reviewers, I was chatting with an Asian girl "Jane" that immediately pushed me to download this chat site (despite being in another). I got suspicious and did a quick google search. After I refused, she got really upset and left.

I was cautious about strange things, but HERE I met a girl who lived in LA. Although she had An Asian face, she grew up in the United States, so there was no obstacle in our communication and we met in a friendly way. I like it here。

This site is a total scam!!! I was directed to this site by an Asian lady I met on a dating site. I subscribed to a $19 text translation and was Charged $499 to my credit card. It was done in such a slick way that they laundry the transaction through PayPal. I have yet to get my money back and this site is stealing on a daily bases. If an Asian lady on a dating site direct you to go to this site, "RUN"!!!

I met a lot of friends here. Although there are some perverts, most of them are good. They talked to me about a lot of different cultures. I met an Asian woman who I like, and she told me a lot about their culture. Maybe one day I will meet her, looking forward to something good

This site is a total scam! Avoid at all costs. Even though the conversation with an Asian beauty seems real, it is some scammer trying very hard to get you to dl the app. "Nancy" in my case sent me revealing pics of a very hot young Asian girl and nearly tricked me as after I reluctantly gave my cell # out, there appeared a request w/Chinese characters in my text and kept texting to ask if I had downloaded the app and looked her up. I knew it was a scam as I saw similar warnings on Trustpilot. Again dont be suckered they want your money and are trying to scam you.

Massive scam. Found this half Chinese half Japanese girl on another site and all she wanted to use was lovehottie over a site called Line. Line is completely free and the translation software is great and will automatically translate the sentences for free as long as you have Line(language) in the same chat channel as whoever you are talking with. This site says they'll translate 500 characters for $20 and we all know English sentences make up an eighth of what Asian languages are. They are telling me how to cancel my dispute with PayPal and refer to me by my ID name over my real name, something you can find on the dispute claim on PayPal.
