They bought a rental on out street and it’s been a nightmare.

The renter have threatened residents and there’s no regard.

Renters use my parking space and when I’ve emailed there’s no reply

I wish when booking on Airbnb we knew about this “company” Asian family . All the reviews are correct, very very dirty and smelly. Extremely old property not looked after at all, all items provided were damaged completely not as listed at all. A house in cb10 definitely not luxury

And tonight booking.com have attempted to take more money from my account it's in my pending they said it'll come back into my account at first they blamed my bank then after a call they admitted a system error I for one shall never use them again after a so called manager at luke stays told me there's nothing they can do about it ill have to wait

Second stay at the property due to location close to family and us living overseas.
Fully equipped property for family of 4. Comfy, Clean and modern appliances. Cottage feel home with very helpful hosts, easy access and entry. Quiet area with everything in walking distance.

We had a family stay in Newcastle apartment. Great location for site seeing and trips to the beach.
House beautifully decorated made us feel like home. Great references to local points worth seeing.
Kitchen well equipped, beds extremely comfortable and spacious bedrooms.
Access with keybox gave us full flexibility with check in and out.
We are a family travelling a lot across UK and this was one of the best experiences by far.
Will definitely come back and recommend to all.

Myself and my family booked a property through luke stays whilst we were in Newcastle visiting family. The communication was great, location was ideal for what we were looking for and the property had all the amenities we needed. The property was clean and well maintained. Luke stays accommodated all our additional requests and we would definitely book another stay with them. Great value for money, would highly recommend !!

Had a fabulous stay in the apartment. Everything we needed was there. Apartment was beautiful. Would definitely recommend a friend and go back myself.

Amazing stay with my partner and children! We asked if the property could be ready earlier to accommodate our flight and they were able to do so. Great communication through out the stay. Lovely accommodation, clean, warm & all amenities that we required plus more! Thanks again for a great stay, we look forward to booking again!

Luke Stays have been running my properties for over 2 years now. They have kept me in the loop on the properties. The access to the bookings system is great and the returns have been more than I expected. I couldn't be happier with their service. Thank you

No stars would be adequate. The house was cold with no central heating I had to go out for coal for the fire. Broken blinds damp around the door. I am still chasing for my deposit back I have been told numerous stories why I have not recived this still waiting. My advice is dont bother your will be disappointed and out if pocket.

Booked 2 houses in April for a business trip, one house was littered in syringes and filthy, the other had not been cleaned, rubbish and mold every where. We contacted Luke stays immediately as we could not use the accommodation one replacement was offered, this house was just as dirty as the others, food everywhere, personal belongings all over the house, it looked like someone was staying there so we left.

Contacted Luke stays again they said they were sorry, we requested a refund at this point they said that would not be a problem, now in December we are still waiting for this refund. The person who is responsible for refunds at the company has been unavailable since April to come to the phone, anyone else who answers either can not help or says the payment will be made by the end of the week.

We book hundreds of accommodations a year, no company has ever been as bad or dishonest as Luke stays. Avoid!

AVOID. This company is terrible. We booked their Gateshead Village Heights property last minute when our original booking cancelled on us very last minute. When we arrived there was a burst pipe under the kitchen sink and water was flooding the entire place. We quickly turned off the water and got in touch with the company. A plumber arrived, isolated the leak so we could use water in the rest of the house and said he would be back in the morning to fix it properly. He never returned for the rest of our stay and no one came to mop up the mess so we had a flooded kitchen that we couldn’t use. I requested a partial refund because of all of the inconvenience and was eventually told it was with the accounts team but 3 months on and several unanswered emails later I am yet to be refunded at all. Scammers. Avoid at all costs.

EDIT: to say that I did not receive a refund of cleaning fees so this reply from Luke Stays is a lie. I just emailed to confirm and they stated that this was a misunderstanding and the offer for a refund of cleaning fees is for any future bookings. Honestly just never use this company. I’ve wasted so much time trying to get my money back for this.

Beware.. this company is a fraud, went there as a group , on arrival the place was not cleaned, dirty cup ,no pot available for use.

Please stay, they make false allegations of what was never at the property and want you to pay for it.

Dirty room , spit in toilet, dirt under the bed.

These company are SCAMMERS!! SCAMMERS !!SCAMMERS, it's a shame I never saw this review before booking it. I will advice anyone planning on booking with them to stay far away from them even if they are offering you a huge discount. Because the moment you leave they start billing you for things that where never there in the first place, without providing you with an invoice even though on their website it states they'll send you an invoice and you'll need to make payment within 7day but the breech their own rules and contracts. The apartment is very dirty, the floors where sticky had to go Asda and buy bacterial wipes for the counters and the floors, the bathroom needed cleaning before you could use it. Having babies with us we had to make sure the property was cleaned before we could even use it.THEY ARE THIEF'S

SCAMMERS stay away, these people charged my credit card an extra £100 claiming we broke a mirror that was already broken even though I sent proof of it being broken before we stayed. They charged me £200 without evn sending me an invoice. I emailed and they never responded, the place was also extremely dirty they promised to send cleaners while we were there but never sent anyone.

These are scammers, they leave a list of things you need to do when staying in their place but not the facilities to do so...empty bins, but no waste bin to put them in, clean all dishes but no dish towel, just very cheap and poor. I left an item which was never found despite it being left on the dresser and I told them immediately. Just poor. Stay away.

I booked to stay with “Luke Stays”, via “Booking.Com” for two nights (24th & 25th March 2023) earlier this year.

The apartment was tatty and unkempt. There was water damage to the bathroom ceiling and walls, as well as a large puddle on the floor. I had very clearly booked a room to sleep my family of four, only to find that there were an insufficient number of beds. The one bed that was available had stains on the sheets and was soaking wet – impossible to be used for its intended application!

I arrived at said apartment after a 5 hour car journey at 23:30 with two very tired and fed up children. After a brief period of trying to sleep on the cold hard floor, me and my family had no choice but to leave and seek alternative accommodation at additional financial and emotional cost.

Customer service is non-existent! They are a nightmare to get a hold of and seemingly do not respond to e-mails. I was promised a refund for my inconvenience and quite frankly, their misselling. The refund hasn’t materialised. I have all but given up…

I was advised to take the complaint up with Booking.com who in-turn told me there was nothing they could do and that the vendor had refused to cooperate. I have since sent multiple unanswered e-mails and have been left extremely dissatisfied and out-of-pocket. In the absence of a refund, I will take solace in the hope that I can prevent another unsuspecting customer falling victim to this company.

Stayed in their Newcastle apartment for the weekend. The apartment was quite dirty. A lot of mould in the kitchen and sink. Found bugs on the living room carpet. One of the bed frame was broken and so the mattress sunk to the floor. Tried to get in touch with the provider, but they did not reply their WhatsApp.
