Good communication with Connor who kept me up to date during the first process and then seamlessly transferred me to the legal team.

We have been in contact a lot recently with Connor Holland part of the introduction team at Lyons Bowe Shepton Mallett team and he has been ace. All questions that I have had throughout this process have been answered promptly and is an email would take to long to write, Connor was quick to pick up the phone and tell me over a call which is an excellent service in my opinion. We are looking forward to seeing our the rest of our house sale process with the legal team.

Great service (we were a little slow to respond and they were very patient with us). Also very cost effective by leaving a donation in our Wills to MIND.

Wanted to change our will but was quoted extortionate prices by companies that only seemed interested in cost ,but then had a quote from lions bowe which I thought was to our reckoning, Andrea was very professional and helpful went through every stage of processing couldn't wish for better service and affordability would thourgly recommend this company.

I have had a poor experience in the past with another solicitor but from the off Lyons Bowe were fantastic. Everyone on the team (especially Toni-Marie, Jonas & Abi) were always very responsive, helpful and professional. Lyons Bowe has been rapidly responsive, giving a lot of information. Our online appointment with Rhiannon was very good, as was our interaction with other members of staff. Everyone was effective and efficient, and we would heartily recommend this firm.

Everything went smoothly and hassle free

The team I’ve had at Lyons Bowe have been fantastic. Holly at the start was super helpful, followed by Aansa who was super responsive and proactive and finishing with Amalia who was amazing at keeping me updated and chasing those last few things before exchanging contracts. Moving is super stressful but I feel so lucky I had such an amazing team. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Timeline showing progress of sale at each stage was good in principle, but not always kept up to date in practice.
Enquiry tracker showing enquiries, responses and status of each enquiry was good in principle, but we were not kept up to date after initial entries.
Communication could have been better, particularly as we neared exchange and completion. Regular updates explaining why we hadn't yet exchanged would have been appreciated.

We can’t emphasize enough to find someone else
We recently had a really frustrating experience with Lyon's Bowe Solicitors in Shepton Mallet. Trying to get a simple query resolved felt like navigating a maze – passed from person to person, each seemingly less informed than the last. The lack of clear communication was a major issue; we constantly had to chase them for updates, and it felt like pulling teeth to get any information. On top of that, they often left us in the dark when it came to dealing with the management company and the seller's solicitors, causing unnecessary worry and stress. Even on the day we were supposed to exchange, they suddenly needed another document and then went silent, leaving us in the dark all day. To make matters worse, the advice we did receive often seemed vague and not tailored to our specific situation, making us question their expertise. Honestly, we expected a much higher level of professionalism, clear guidance, and efficiency, especially considering this process has dragged on for over 9 months, even with no onward chain. And to top it off, they kept adding significant charges onto the bill, which felt completely unjustified. Seriously, if you need solicitors, We can't emphasize enough that you should find someone else.
