Terrible customer service. They don't even remotely aim to resolve matters and instead just point out small technicalities s to why you're wrong.

I ordered two items. The checkout did mention lead times on those items. One shipped in 1-3 days and the other in 1-2 weeks. I paid for expedited delivery, which I think any reasonable person would assume would result in the first item, with its 1-3 days shipping time, to be sent within that shipping time... instead they lumped them both together and now I have to wait two weeks for something I reasonably expected to be put into the post ASAP having paid $22 for the privilege.

Instead of trying to resolve the matter, Nick from customer service basically replied, "LOL :)" and that was that.

No matter. It was only a $2,000 order with a vendor I was told offered good service.

I bought a NewerTech NuPower 49.3 Watt-Hour Battery Replacement Kit for the 13-inch MacBook Pro Touch Bar with 4 x Thunderbolt Ports (Late 2016 – Mid 2017) from Macfixit on 18/04/23. Despite being just two years old of standard use and only 274 charge cycles, the battery has swollen and not fit for purpose, which is both a safety hazard and a clear sign of premature failure. The product only comes with one year warranty, so they refuse to address it with a replacement or refund, they only offer a discount to purchase a new product again which is very disappointing.

My experience buying a secondhand laptop from Macfixit was pretty bad. Firstly they sent me the wrong charger, then when I contacted them they sent me another one, also wrong. They finally sent me an adapter which then meant I could charge the laptop.
Now it can’t be accessed and I’ve contacted Macfixit it yet again. They are less than polite in their emails to me and just told me to contact Apple. This is despite the fact that I purchased 2 years warranty for the laptop as well. They show contempt and disdain in their tone of their responses and they are probably one of the most miserable customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

Took my order for an item then cancelled the order 4 days later due to lack of stock.

Great website with really responsive customer service. They sell OWC gear which you already know has a great reputation for build quality. I ordered an OWC Thunderbay 8 and it was as excellent as I expected it to be.

The checkout experience was standard Shopify, which is super clean and easy. Macfixit offer several payment options, including PayPal, and there's no need to set up an account to checkout.

Postage was extremely quick, with frequent email updates on the status of the package. The item was well packaged to protect it during shipping.

Overall, everything was top notch. Will buy from them again.

Very wide range of products available to suit Apple (and other) systems, and at competitive prices. Very clear and friendly website. Most importantly, quick and efficient service. I have used Macfixit four or five times now. No issues at all. They are now my first (and typically only) stop when seeking equipment.

Purchased Zugu case for iPad Pro. Macfitit had the best range of cases at the best prices in Australia. Their website is quick and easy, the purchase process painless, and the follow-up flawless. I trust their service, and will shop with them again.

I purchased a Satechi dock for my new Mac Mini M1 from Macfixit. I found their advice and levels of service to be excellent along with very sharp (low) prices. Shipping and delivery were very prompt (I live in Melbourne). I would certainly buy from them again and recommend them to others.

The OWC 4 Tb drive is great as a Mac startup drive and is very fast

Macfixit always have the answer to my requirements for the weird and wonderful to make things work. Unusual plug and cord adapters have got all my equipment working where others said it can't be done.
My most excellent purchase was Caldigit Thunderbolt 4 Element hub. This unit has saved my bacon and Macfixit had the best price. Other options available through retailers were less clever, less outputs and more money. I did have to wait a while for it to come into stock but it was so worth the wait. My Mac Mini M1 with it's limited connection ports is now a beast, running all my accessories without having to stop and swap cords for devices. So I can now run a 2nd monitor, midi keyboard, external ssd disks, firepod sound module, Maschine 2 Drum unit, and an external Creative sound card producing 5.1 surround. some of which come through a previous, ordinary, Belkin hub. The problem is without being powered, when I plugged something in it would say an SSD has been removed without ejecting. The Caldigit having it's own incoming power suffers from no problems at all. This is the best purchase I have made recently, I was thinking I needed a better bigger PC but I just needed the right connections. It's not what you know or who you know, it's all about having the right connections!

I would come back here over and over again. Did online order got it in 2 days. The website is easy to navigate to what parts you need and what is suitable.

Macfixit provided excellent service in a recent upgrade of a relative's Macbook. After the wrong SSD had been ordered, Macfixit exchanged to the correct one with no fuss whatsoever. Later, with problems having the SSD recognised by the Macbook, I was given prompt and accurate advice on how to overcome the issue.
