Since our story began in 2021, our goal has always been to make the world of whisky cask ownership more transparent and welcoming for every new customer intrigued by its potential. Driven by decades of financial expertise, a passion for whisky inspires us – and we care deeply about the centuries of craft poured into every dram. By purchasing only the finest single malts from renowned Scottish brands, we make it easier for seasoned and new customers to access the tax-free benefits and long-term rewards associated with the world-beloved ‘water of life’. Whether you’re looking to buy a cask for yourself or future generations, every member of the MacInnes team can provide assistance and expert knowledge. MacInnes is born from a longstanding heritage of financial expertise. Such a heritage enables us to hold stock for you to choose from, giving you a wide choice of casks, alongside ensuring the cask you select is the same as you receive. We hold WOWGR (Warehousekeepers and Owners of Warehoused Goods Regulation) status, giving you peace of mind that we are fully authorised and HMRC-approved. We bring a personal passion and dedication to the craft of whisky-making. Our team members are all qualified from the Edinburgh Whisky Academy, and we’re proud to select only branded casks of the finest single malts. Whether you’re a seasoned whisky cask collector or new, we’ll guide you through our stock list options and support you throughout the journey, enabling you to enjoy effortless ownership of a cask full of history – with the potential to mature into significant gains in the future. As with any investment, your capital is at risk. The value of your investment can go down or up.

Great investment, professional service & highly recommended
Bought a great cask from the guys at Macinnes Whiskey who were very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Decided to move my daughters money out of her savings account and purchased a second cask as a medium term investment for her. Will probably buy some more whisky casks and definately use them again in the near future.

Neat Investment
We tasked Jon and his team to source us something a bit different as our first whisky investment with them, and they came up with a 2009 hogshead from the now shutdown Port Dundas distillery.
Great team to deal with, they seem to thrive off a challenge and source casks at amazing prices. Excited to see what gems we will be offered next.
