I had never been for a proper eye test in my life until a month ago. I was anxious about the test and Amanda at the Newtownards Mackey's Branch was recommended to me. She was excellent and thorough. Thank you Amanda!

All the fitting staff were also excellent. I dealt mainly with Heather who spent ages going through all the frames with me until we got one that suited. It took some time to get used to the varifocal lenses and the staff were very accommodating and changed the glasses to a lens which is better for me.

Called in Mackey’s Opticians Bangor is I needed a pair of Varifocals. Mary helped me select a frame and then talked me through the various options available re lenses. Mary was very helpful and made the selection very easy , there was a great selection of frames available. I look forward to receiving my new glasses.

I had an eye test at the Woodstock Road branch and found the Team to be friendly , helpful and very experienced. My eye test was carried out by Hannah who explained every step of the process and used the most up to date equipment to carry out a full assessment of my eyes. After my test I was assisted by Roseanne who helped me choose my frames. Roseanne was warm, friendly, helpful and very experienced. I got a follow up call a few days later to say my glasses were ready. I found the whole experience to be exceptional and I would recommend this branch to anyone.

I have been attending Mackeys in Cookstown for around 20 years now and Geraldine is absolutely amazing at her job! I was in today and Nicola was working and the 2 girls together are just amazing! We have always had amazing experiences in Mackeys, always seeing Geraldine for my tests but all of the lovely ladies on reception, Nicola and Therese to name two of the most longstanding members of staff, are just amazing at their jobs. Honest opinions on frames, their expertise is second to none and Geraldine, as I said, is just one in a million. Their prices for frames are fantastic and speed of service and delivery just amazing! I travel 40miles from home to attend Mackeys even though there are opticians closer to home just because of their first class service. Highly recommended always ❤️

Myself & my family have been patients of Mackeys Cookstown practice for 20 years, the staff are friendly & professional and always familiar faces when you arrive in, they greet you by your name. Both Geraldine & Michelle are very thorough in giving eye exams, especially with two of my children who wear glasses full time. Nicola & Therese make sure the right frames are chosen.
Overall I’m very happy with the service that Mackeys in Cookstown provide.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Jenny Beattie at both the Church Lane, Belfast, and Holywood practices to choose my new glasses. Jenny was incredibly patient and dedicated, helping me find frames that were the perfect size for my prescription and suited my face shape. Her knowledge and expertise were evident, as she took the time to explain my eye test results. Jenny was pleasant, attentive, and never made me feel rushed or as if I was a bother. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking exceptional service and a personal touch when choosing eyewear.

Just had a great experience in Mackeys Cookstown practice. Geraldine did a very comprehensive eye examination. Nicola was great at advising me on frame choice- the range of frames is excellent. What a welcoming and friendly practice to attend.

Rachel here is such a delight to deal with.
I had sore heads for weeks, went in, was promptly diagnosed with astigmatism had my glasses sorted out promptly.
After wearing glasses have been headache free for 2 days.

After moving from what I believed to be the best in America…I stand corrected..the one on one personal relationships they establish, professionalism, and off the charts knowledge!!! Thanku for making my experience from moving from one country to another so seamless…Im yours for life….

We entered the shop to see about my broken glasses. Sharon greeted us with a great smile and helped us, gladly Sorcha and Sharon fixed them.

Took my daughter for an eye test here recently and was shocked at the variety of glasses they had for kids much more than other opticians! Staff were so friendly and helpful and made her feel at ease her new glasses came really quickly too so didn’t have to wait long, will be coming here from now on, highly recommend!
