CAREFUL PLEASE. Think twice before you order anything online from Macy's. I ordered 4 items. Returned them (very poor quality), via USPS, as instructed. No email to acknowledge receipt. No email acknowledging refund. Called several times. After many hours I learned that 1. Macy's issued a gift card without asking if I want one. Nor did they bother to send an email to this effect. 2. I was told, finally, that the gift card will be deposited into my paypal account (means of payment). I had to provide, reluctantly, my bank account information. I am still awaiting email confirmation. Just think. Who will give up sooner? I? or Macy's? of course I will run out of steam. Just think. If Macy's pulls the same trick with million customers. Net profit of tens of millions. We are easy prey. I would advise no one to shop at Macy's, certainly not online.

I have been unable to access their website on my phone and iPad for an extended period now. After researching, this seems to be a common complaint. Obviously Macyâs doesnât care because they arenât responding or resolving issue. No wonder the stock is tanking.

Macyâs customer service is horrible! There are definitely language barriers creating difficulties to place an order. I opened a Macyâs credit card to use the additional 30% off Black Friday prices. I had to use Customer Service to order because I didnât have card in hand. Needless to say it has been very frustrating and disappointing they canât get the order correct, they even get the address incorrect! The 3rd party delivery service with Door Dash is comical. I have called more than 15 times to get things sorted out, and canât talk with anyone who understands. Then I find out I been over charged and have duplicated charges on credit card. I will NEVER use Macyâs online again!!!! They should be ashamed. They will lose their credibility with customers and end up bankrupt.

Whatâs frustrating is that every payment method matched the name and billing details to the mailing address, yet their system still flagged the orders and caused unnecessary delays.
Despite my loyalty as a longtime customer, I had to go through multiple attempts to verify my information, only to be met with rigid and ineffective processes. When I finally spoke with a supervisor, Benji, they were professional and assured me the pending charges would be reversed. However, by that point, the damage was doneâthe repeated verification failures not only disrupted my purchase but also impacted my business operations.
This experience highlights a serious flaw in Macyâs verification system and a lack of attention to loyal customers. For a brand with such a long-standing reputation, itâs unacceptable to have systems that alienate customers who provide accurate and consistent information.
After this ordeal, I have made the decision to never shop at Macyâs again. A company that cannot value loyal customers or streamline basic processes does not deserve my business. I hope Macyâs leadership takes this feedback seriously, but for me, itâs too late.

Do not order online from Macyâs! I placed an order with Macyâs, 30 minutes later found a different color that I like better from Macyâs and placed an order. When I tried to cancel the first order was told it is over the 30 minutes and they could not do anything about it that I would need to return it once it was received. The order wasnât even scheduled to be sent out for 4 more days. Complete BS

This morning while browsing the ladies department in Macy's at Pittsburgh Mills, Tarentum PA I over heard associate, Darlene asking a customer if they needed any help after that she came up to me and offered the same in a very sincere and kind way. When I was ready to check out Darlene was the associate at the register. She continued the entire time to be so very friendly and offered suggestions. It was a pleasant experience, as we all know good customer service is very rare these days.

Macy's disappointed me by not honoring the star money I had earned. The Customer Service rep on the phone was so inefficient in getting the system-setup issue resolved. Worse still, the system wrongfully claimed the star money had been consumed. Thanks to the on-site sales associate, Toni M., who believed me, my reputation is intact. It was correct but the sales person said it was a mistake. if you make a mistake you honor it. It like Macys profit is more important than trusty(HONOR IS PRICES). My mom and I were shopping today at Macyâs of Manhasset, where we had the good fortune of meeting Cleon . I was looking for holiday Spode dinnerware and they didnât have any on display . Cleon made numerous trips to the back to find exactly what we were looking for and he could not have been kinder! It was truly wonderful to find such sincere and helpful staff . Worry No More Insurance
I was trying to get insurance for my furniture through Macy's, and it was quite an experience. After two tries, I finally connected to a live person at the insurance company. I gave her my details, and she put me on hold for a long time. I heard some rings like I was being transferred, and then suddenly, I could hear kids in the background and even someone asking if someone wanted to see the master bedroomâjust chaos. I was yelling 'hello,' but no one answered.
So, I called Macy's back while still having them on speaker so they could hear the craziness. The funny thing is, the Macy's rep said the same thing happened to him when he called for a customerâhe even heard chickens in the background! I'm not sure I want to add this insurance for my furniture. The insurance name is 'Worry No More'âironic, right?

Ordered Clinique because they were offering their free gift. I order things online all the time but I always end up calling Macy's because their website always has issues. I received the cream but not the free gift. I spent probably 2 hours the 3 times I called trying to get my free gift and I still don't know if I'll get it or not. The first time I called they tried to process a return. Return for what?! Then when I got the email stating that I had a "return" I called right away and they said they couldn't send the free gift because I asked for a return which I did not! I didn't get my free gift - that's it! It isn't rocket science! The people speak horrible english sorry to say.

My wife and I spend thousands a year in macys in person. We decided to place an online order. BAD idea! We didn't receive one order for over a month, when it showed it was missing a $100 sweatshirt. We are still waiting to this day for our credit on that. It's been 2 months!!
The next order we placed 10 days later, we are still waiting for. We are literally calling them daily to give us information or a tracking number. We are going on almost a month now with no information. These are not cheap items. All ralph lauren.
I believe it's times for gold star members and card holders to start a class action lawsuit. This is literally stealing from people. If we don't hear from them by this Monday we are contacting a lawyer about this going forward.

They did not send a shipping label until 2 days after the order was placed and it's not scheduled to be delivered until 1 day before the wedding!!! The tux is in stock and wasn't processed until 2 days after the order and is being sent standard shipping. Customer service was totally indifferent. Macy's IS NOT the store it once was.
