I ordered 2 jackets in February on my PayPal account, the money was taken but I have not received the jackets. numerous emails to them and a phone call but no positive response. just wondering how I can get my money back. £329.85!!!

I ordered a sleeveless jumper weeks ago & it has taken a long time to arrive. I was beginning to think it was a scam! The garment is very poor quality, looks like it would fall apart at the seams after one wash. It’s a shame as the design is very nice but very poor quality.

No refund on returned items.
I ordered 2 pairs of trousers in June 2025. They didnt arrive until July and were extremely poor quality, not at all like Madeleine's usual quality. They were returned on 13th July 2025 but I still haven't received a refund.
I have phoned the company a number of times and received apologies and promises that the refund would be actioned immediately but this has never happened. The last 4 phone calls made I have just been kept on hold exactly 10 minutes each time before being cut off.
I have now reported this scam to my credit card company

I ordered 4 pairs of trousers at the beginning of December 2024. One pair was missing from the package. I kept one pair and returned the other two. I emailed several times and phoned a number of times. I was told that the missing item had been "returned" and the other two had been received and my account had been "credited" but not "refunded" because I hadn't paid! I was asked for a copy of my bank account. I pointed out that I had paid using a credit card. A friend in Germany said that they DO send out items on trust there and the customer only pays for what they keep!
My card was finally credited on 23 January 2025.
I love their clothes but, of course, I am reluctant to buy more when they have no UK-based company.

My wife returned 3 items back in November. They've acknowledged receipt but not issued a refund. M and S card asked her to fill in forms but now say it's over 120 days since purchase ...too late!

Returned dress bought in early December on 12th December - still waiting for a refund and customer service are useless keep promising refund but it doesn’t arrive. I am worried they may be in financial distress. Glad that I used a credit card so if the refund doesn’t arrive can claim from them.
Have bought several items before but won’t buy again.

I have been attempting to make a return to Madeleine. Their return website keeps rejecting all information given stating 'we do not recognise the order number or email....' I have entered three different order numbers clearly shown on the invoice and on subsequent responses from Madeleine customer service team (in desperation I have also entered an invoice no) - I am always entering my email address which is the one that the customer service team have responded to so I assume this can't bee the problem . I have attempted to ring the number with no success. I have tried to use the scan facility on my phone which allows access to the return site but then rejects my information so I can go no further, once again entering three different order numbers given by Madeleine.
An email from the customer service team states that they have attached a return label, this actually isn't the case, but anyway I do not have a printer and at no point in their catalogues or on their website do they say that this is necessary, indeed their return instructions clearly states you can decide if you want to print thee label at home or in the parcel shop. If I had the correct return address I would certainly be prepared to post the item back myself but there is no address given, presumably on the label which they haven't actually included.
I'm afraid I'm beginning to wonder if this isn't a deliberate strategy to make the process so frustrating that people will give up. Certainly, I will not be ordering from Madeleine again.

Ordered 2 items at the same time. Only 1 went through. Called them and asked for the 2nd one to be sent with no charge for postage. They agreed but charged the postage anyway. I complained [a lot - by phone and email] but they would not refund the postage they had agreed not to charge.
Another item I ordered was never delivered. They weren't interested - said I'd have to take it up with the carrier and promised to pass it to their customer service. Never heard from them. Won't buy from them again.

Same sad story. Returned a dress begin october and still waiting for refund-actie. Several calls and several e-mails without solution. Always the same story ‘your request is send to our department they Will contact you’. Not never tot an answer. Will never ever buy something from that Company. The brand Madeleine and Company is been taken over by Goldner. So be aware. Same story.

In September I purchased two pairs of trousers that I had to return as they did not fit me. I received an email acknowledgment on 9th October ‘24 to say the items had been received and I would be refunded. I have not received the refund and have made two phone calls to chase them up, to no avail.
I thought I was dealing with a British company but they are operating out of Germany.

Well never bought from this company before and now bought twice ,very happy with the coat and trousers I purchased.
Promptly delivered and for the price I thought the quality was very good 👍
Will be buying again .😊

Bought two items from this outlet and sad to say very expensive but very poor quality delivery time very efficient items comes well presented shame the quality doesn't match the package presentation. have to say items looks very good online but isa different matter when they arrive.Wont be buy from Madeline again.
