We contacted Make UK to arrange a Health & Safety visit, and their response was prompt, professional, and accommodating to our needs. Their support throughout the process was greatly appreciated. During the visit, our appointed H&S Consultant, Mark, quickly identified the hazards and provided clear, practical advice on the required actions, best practices, and relevant legal regulations. His support was highly valuable

Excellent Accident Investigation Training delivered by Mark. Mark's knowledge and experience made the course very interesting for all the delegates.

Great course and delivery

Neil is very experienced. He shared with us his own experience which is amazing.

The content was good and relevant to the position with a focus on the discussion and understanding rather than being totally in the PowerPoint. Good examples discussed

the course is well presented and informative .many sections to this course hoping to learn as much as i can from it .only had 1 session so far another 10 to go if the rest are like the first it will be well worth it .

Our consultant, Stephanie spent the day with us to carry out a mock Health and Safety audit. She was very easy to talk to, extremely knowledgeable and has given us some invaluable advice to move forward with. All in all a very pleasant, yet very useful exercise. We will look to repeat this every year with our consultancy day that is part of our Make UK membership!

I was recently made redundant from my job and my company referred me to outplacement workshop First. so wasn't sure of what to expect. The support and advice given by Judith Chapman was incredibly practical and useful. For example, I was guided on how to optimise my CV with relevant keywords, to ensure that AI-based search systems are selecting my CV on behalf of prospective employers. highlight skills and experience which I previously hadn't considered to be very important.
I would highly recommend this service.

Course felt rushed and teaching was subpar throughout. Ran through all required content as quick as possible not allowing you time to take notes or ask questions on areas where you are unsure. Teachers just want to get you passed/signed off on modules as quick as possible, doesn't seem to matter if you actually understand the content as this is all they cared about. Do not let you park on site, you have park a 15 minute walk away, then if you are 5 minutes late someone stands on the door and asks why you're late whilst also being quite confrontative. This combined with teachers sleeping during class, leaving for cigarette breaks and an obsession with the canteen makes for a place which doesn't seem to care much about its' students learning and more about profit. We had to use scrap pieces of cable and conduit during our electrical module which says it all.

Very interactive and engaging with various real life samples. Neil is excellent teacher, always making sure that everyone in a classroom understands the material. He is very breath with his answers and always acknowledge every one in the class. One of the best in his area.
