very unhelpful customer service. I had my delivery postponed once and in the end they left package in the pick up point. UPC driver recorded in the system that they attempted twice to deliver - I work from home, absolutely no one was here.
Makeup.uk customer service is not interested in how UPS deliver they stuff and advise is 'go and collect from where-ever is left for you'. Will not be buying again and do not recommend!

Took a chance on ordering the RapidLash duo as was prepared to wait several weeks for it to hopefully arrive due to how cheap it was, or lose the £25 if the site was a scam. However, my order was delivered in 2 days, and the items were genuine - they checked out using the Transparency app. Could not be happier!!

Awful Company don't buy

I order a product on the 10.05.21 and never received my order. After may emails what i send i get always the same answer, my Product is on the border. Then there stop answer my mails, when i ask i want my money back. Better pay £5 more on Amazon and get this next day. Never again from this Company.

After having placed my first order at Makeup, I couldn't be happier with my shopping experience. This online store offers a huge choice of products so it took me several hours to select what I wanted to purchase. Having been unable to travel due to COVID restrictions, I have run out of many of my favourite brands of Polish cosmetics so was in desperate need to restock. The website was easy to use and I was very happy that there was no delivery charge for orders over £29. After I placed my order I got in touch with customer service as to ensure that they did have my full address to avoid any issues with delivery. The agent I spoke with was friendly, polite and helpful so has further enhanced my shopping experience. And when my order arrived, I was very pleased that every single item was in perfect condition as it was very well packaged (wrapped in paper). The outer box had a tear in it which probably occurred during transport, so perhaps using thicker, stronger boxes would prevent that issue. The only downside to this shopping experience was the length of time it took to dispatch my parcel - as I received it almost three weeks after placing my order. I wasn't in a rush as such, but would have appreciated a shorter wait time. Having said that, when I spoke with customer service agent, she did advised me of delays in dispatch so to set my expectation from the beginning. I think what would be helpful is to have any information about delays clearly displayed on the website to make customers aware. Nevertheless, I was kept informed as I received regular updates regarding dispatch and was even offered to cancel my order if I'm not happy waiting any longer. So this would be my only suggestion for improvement really but other than that I'm a very happy customer who will be returning in the future! I'll highly recommend this shop but will advise to order well in advance of when you need the goods to allow for delivery. Thanks :)

Initially I thought it was a scam as delivery took almost a month. Once parcel received I've checked on label and it was despatched as per email confirmation but it must have been stuck in customs as parcel is coming from Poland.
I ordered second time since and parcel arrived a lot quicker. One item leaked slightly but it could happen to any company / delivery.
Will definitely purchase again

Amazing products. They will be my favorites shop with cosmetics. Its not their fault that you wait longer on your order. Cause Holland makes problems with parcels from UK a d to UK. They hold your parcels on customs clearance for no reason plus extort more fees , taxes, VAT etc. Everything because of brexit ,but you won't pay any extras. Everything is covered by company . Make up is not guilty of the delays. Finally I could receive my parcel. Everything is packed so well. And worth of waiting. All the time I was receiving support from them. Truly recommend them. 😊

Please do not order from this company. Placed order on 8th June & still haven't received. Have now been told that it won't pass through customs. Now I'm for bank to try & get my money back. Stay clear of them as they scam you of your money knowing you won't receive your order..one month of ringing & texting company & they knew i wasn't going to receive my order, but told me that DPD had it. Which was lies.

This company is a scam! Report to police immediately! First they send you information about delivery problem and after you claim for refund they send you information about some issues on refund department. Never ending story, they don't send you any refund!

I ordered from this company because they not only had good prices, but also items that are hard to get in the UK now.
Over a week after placing my order I was surprised to find out that my delivery was going to be delayed, but they couldn't say how long for and offered me a refund if I didn't want to wait. I chose to wait and the company continued to communicate with me that the delivery would be delayed. Just short of 2 months later, I finally received my delivery only to find the box had definitely been opened and then poorly resealed by the courier company. When I opened the box I also found that I had an item that had leaked everywhere.
I wrote to let the company know and they came back with some questions and then almost a week later came back with even more questions asking for a fair bit of detail. I understand the information was required to lodge a complaint with the courier company, but they made it my problem which was an inconvenience and a bad experience. In my opinion the way they handled the whole situation was very poor and based off my overall experience with this company I would not order from them again.

This is the worse experience, I have accounted!
After receiving many delay about my delivery some from the website some because I sent emails asking about my order. after many many weeks nothing, then I ask for my money back an other delay to wait until the money in the bank. This is not a good structure business. Not enough operators, not enough resources. Very pointless to use them.

This company is NOT a scam . I ordered two boxes of perfumes over 8 weeks ago and as I’d not received anything within the first month / I contacted the company who immediately responded and told me there would be a delay . I read the earlier reviews on this site and panicked . So I contacted the company for a refund and cancelled my order . The company responded immediately. I was promptly refunded - Horner yesterday I have actually received the items ! I’ve just emailed the company to ask what to do now . But the short story is that delivery is VERY LONG . But the products are good value , customer is good and you do get your order although after a long time . X

This is an update to my first review. Firstly DPD gave me the wrong information as my parcel has been delivered today. I have no idea why they said my order was 1 of 2 parcels for the order. To be fair Makeup.uk have replied to all my emails, the latest one they advised they will cancel order and refund me. I will now email them to advise parcel has turned up and if they have initiated the refund process they will have to invoice me for payment. Delays are genuinely due to customs that is why I have now rated 5 stars.

This company is not a scam. I panicked that they are scam after reading reviews, so I asked them to send me refund. Communication with customer servis was brilliant, they answered all my questions and I got my refund after one week. What is funny, next day I got email from DPD, that my parcel will be delivered next day. It was two weeks after I placed an order. I accepted it and sent email to Makeup for invoice so I could pay it again. I have to say they were very patient with me. I am very happy with my order and will be back soon. You have to understand that there are delays on boards because of Brexit and its not Makeups fault.

This is a follow up, my parcel arrived today but because I have already been refunded I refused to collect it. My order was placed on 26 April, arrived on 17 June.
I was also sent a text and an email from dpd and was given an one hour slot.
Turned out not to be scammers but am I willing to wait nearly 2 months for my order? Not really.

It pays to wait patiently. I received a package today. Order was placed on 30 April. Long delay with delivery, but I understand that the situation at the border is different than usual. Customer service very nice. I had good contact with customer service by e-mail several times regarding my order. Parcel was solidly packed. From the courier, I received e-mail and SMS at what time he will deliver my package. For all those who are still waiting, I think that, like me, you will receive a package soon.

This company is not a scam. I placed the order on April 28. The package was delivered exactly today June 17. This is my first experience with this store. I admit that, unfortunately, waiting over 6 weeks for a package is not the best review, but they are fair and deliver the products. Products very well protected (I had 3 cosmetics in glass bottles), Nothing was damaged. All original. In the meantime, I was constantly receiving information that they had problems due to BREXIT. I hope that from now on there will be no more problems with the shipment from abroad. I will definitely order again. Despite the problems, I RECOMMEND their services.
