very few of the best value scotches.you seem to be concentrating on selling high value scotches either for the rich or the collectors not for the normal scotch drinker

Good Site

Shopped there a couple of times now for some of the Isley festival and special releases. Good, quick, reliable delivery without issue. Bottles arrive on time and packaged well.

Beware: Very disappointing - won't use again.

I ordered a gift for my son-in-law's birthday and noting the '5-7 days' delivery hoped it was just to cover themselves. It wasn't - it took 7 days to arrive which is pretty poor in this day and age. Where were they sending it from? The 1990's?

I had also ticked the box for 'Gift wrap' which was £6. When it arrived, the box was just wrapped in Malts.com branded paper which was stuck together with ordinary shiny cellotape! WHAT A RIP-OFF! It would be hilarious if it wasn't so clearly a money-earning scam.

Durchwachsen

In der BestellbestÀtigung waren 2-4 Tage Lieferzeit angegeben. Nach einer Woche wurde meine Bestellung immernoch nicht versandt.
An sich ja auch kein Problem, aber wenn schon eine Lieferzeit angegeben ist, dann muss ich mich als Unternehmen auch daran halten (oder bei Verzögerungen zumindest Bescheid geben).
Auf die Frage nach dem Status meiner Bestellung war die Antwort vom Kundenservice: „Die Bestellung wurde aufgegeben und wird innerhalb weniger Tage versandt. Sobald es versendet wird, erhalten Sie eine BestÀtigung per Email.“
Leider ÃŒberhaupt nicht hilfreich.
Schade, aber hier werde ich wohl nicht wieder bestellen.

Update: Nach erneuter Anfrage wurde mir ein Versanddatum genannt, was letztendlich auch eingehalten wurde. Der Whisky kam (nach 10 Werktagen) unbeschÀdigt und gut verpackt an.
Malts hat sich auch fÌr die verspÀtete Lieferung entschuldigt.

Fazit: Wer lÀnger auf seine Bestellung warten kann, und geduldig mit dem Kundenservice ist, kann hier durchaus bestellen.

i order on 17th of October today is 28 .when i check the delivery it says "order placed" ,if you dont have the goods why you sell them .or no update on web page what is happening?

Great whiskies - but also some constructive criticism

Diageo owns some of the best distilleries in the world and makes great products. If I were to humbly offer them a suggestion, I would encourage Malts.com to logistically work out how to ship domestic UK orders within 2-3 days of an order being placed, vs. their current 10-14 business day SLA. Consumers have become accustomed to a faster level of service from virtually all of their competitors, including Edrington, Pernod, LVMH, Grant's, Remy, and so on. All of these companies would appear to have orders boxed up and ready for shipping labels before hot new releases are even offered through their respective websites.

Sehr gute Erfahrungen. Wie zum Beispiel bei einer Bestellung ging die Lieferung, Wort fÃŒr Wort in die BrÃŒche auf dem Versandweg.

Selection is great, shipment is vague

Selection is great, still waiting for my shipment to arrive. I placed 7 different orders on one day, 6 have arrived in good order. The last one is still missing....
Edit 03NOV : Took some time to straighten things out but the final shipment has been sent out and well received in the end. Not the first time and it takes some time, prob due to the size of the company and operation, but at the end I always received the requested items. Aplogies for not updateing ;-)
