Maple funiture Very poor customer service we had 2x 3 seater leather recliner sofas and 2x1 leather seat recliners one of the 3 seater recliner has dropped to the floor and is all loose they sent a repair man out who stood in the middle of our living room I showed him the issues that were occurring he didn't once look for him self he took a photo and said he send the report off, 2 months later and still not fixed and we are in the middle of a dispute maple have said that there is nothing wrong when clearly there is, Very poor quality and very very poor customer service stay well clear the company is a rip off and a joke our issue has been ongoing for around 2-3 months they take your money and then don't care absolutely dreadful avoid this company at all costs,
EDIT, as I have stated yes you sent someone out who was ment to look at it/fix but like I said he stood in the middle of the room and didn't move and took one pic as I showed him all the issues these sofas are of a very poor quality the actual cushion of the seats are basically flat so when you sit on the sofa the wood is sticking into you bum which is very uncomfortable to say the least, the recliner has dropped and is touching the floor and has major movement, how can you say its how he we sent on them what a load of ****. These sofas are not even 5 months old and cost us in the region of £1800 or around £3000 on finance,
This is a manufacturer fault which is a 12 month warranty and you will not get it fixed or have it replaced you have mugged us right off and yes i we are fighting with the finance company to rectify this issue, Again this issue occurred just after 3 months, s who answers the phone was so rude and we haven't been sent anything of such as report by post or email or text, I even what's app you a video of the main issue with the sofa, so please don't lie, being dishonest gets you nowhere, your company is a sham ripping a young family off is an absolute joke

I have many issues with the sofa that IâŠ
I have many issues with the sofa that I received and due to it's poor quality I requested by e-mail to send the sofa back which according to their own website I should be able to do within 14 days. Once I contacted them with this request I got a reply back on the same day asking me to tell them why I want to send it back. I then replied back in detail my reasons for wanting to send it back and it looks like they are ignoring my email due to no response in 5 days so I contacted them again, and once again no reply. From my experience with Maple furniture It looks like once they have your money they don't care if anything is wrong with your item and just ignore emails even though it specifically states that the sofa can be sent back within 14 days with myself having to pay for collection and delivery which I was willing to do.
Obviously I can't speak on the rest of their sofas but I ordered the chloe 3 seat sofa and my problems with the sofa is;
The material of the fabric is unexpectedly very rough and poor quality. It feels very rough to touch and rough on my skin.
It is uncomfortable to sit on and lay on.
There's also problems with the level of the sitting position that I'm guessing was intentionally designed this way? The seating area slightly tilts back and is not level. When sitting, and especially laying down my body slightly tilts over, sliding over to the back of sofa that make it very uncomfortable to sit, and especially lay on. I have a health condition (fibromyalgia) and the way the sofa is constructed/designed makes my back pain worse due to discomfort. because of the cushions/structure of seating area not being straight when sitting/laying down - my body pushed over to the back end of the sofa increases my pain levels due to uncomfortableness.
The seat cushions also slip forward which worsens the tilting of the seat cushions: which makes sitting and laying more uncomfortable. I try to push seat cushions back in but they come back out within a few minutes.
While looking for a sofa I had a desired specific dimensions for a sofa as I am housebound due to my health conditions (fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome).
The Dimensions are different than advertised. Width of sofa, width of seating area and depth of sofa seats are all smaller than advertised.
If i had known the overall sofa would be smaller than what was stated on maple furniture then i would not have purchased the sofa in first place as I had specific dimensions for a sofa in mind for my purchase.
It's very unprofessional as a business to ignore it's customers and if Maple furniture is not willing to respond and take the sofa back/give me a refund I will have to give the sofa to a charity shop and lose out on £550 and a currunt sofa to sit on. At the very least I should be offered a discount on the purchase price.
