Am 15.05.2026 bestellte ich das Extrait‑Entdeckungsset, das bereits am 20.05. sicher verpackt eintraf. Die drei 2,5‑ml‑Extraits präsentierten sich in einer tiefblauen, sehr eleganten Schachtel, begleitet von einem ausgesprochen gentilen Kartengruß von Benjamin.

Jeder der drei Düfte besitzt eine eigene, bemerkenswerte Signatur:
B683 Extrait mit seiner warmen, würzig‑ledernen Tiefe,
Ganymede Extrait mit seiner klaren, mineralisch‑ätherischen Strahlkraft,
und B87.135, der mit seiner modernen, raffinierten Komposition sofort heraussticht.

Alle drei performen außergewöhnlich, doch B87.135 hat mich so überzeugt, dass ich ihn unmittelbar in der 50‑ml‑Extraitversion nachbestellt habe.

I recently ordered the 5-sample discovery set from Marc-Antoine Barrois and the entire experience felt exceptionally refined from start to finish. The shipping was fast, the packaging was immaculate, and the unboxing experience was honestly beautiful. The handwritten note was such an elegant touch and made the order feel genuinely personal.

As for the fragrances themselves: impressive performance across the board. These are true “beast mode” perfumes with remarkable longevity and projection. My personal favorite was Encelade — absolutely stunning, unique, and unforgettable. That said, I realized I’m probably not ready for a full bottle yet because the sillage and staying power are extremely strong for my personal taste. I could still smell it days later, even after a second hair wash.

If you love powerful, artistic fragrances with serious presence, this house is absolutely worth discovering.

I want to share a story that goes a bit beyond simply buying Ganymede or adding it to a collection.
I’ve always been fascinated by scents. I find it intriguing how certain aromas can be attractive, mysterious and emotionally powerful at the same time. A lot of this probably comes from my own life experiences, because I have a very strong olfactory memory that connects moments of my life to specific smells — something that was also refined through my wine studies as a hobby.
What became really interesting was that, while organizing my fragrance collection out of curiosity using ChatGPT, I asked a simple question: what is still missing in my collection?
The answer was surprisingly specific. The AI said that my collection lacked what it called “abstract contemporary sophistication.” According to it, this would bring:
minerality;
a clean metallic sensation;
ethereal soft leather;
luminous dry woods;
and an almost architectural feeling.
What surprised me the most is that I had never specifically searched for Marc-Antoine Barrois or Ganymede before.
So, in some way, the AI recognized patterns within the olfactory territories I already appreciated and connected them with references that exist within that aesthetic universe.
I found that fascinating.
It made me realize that fragrance collections may develop a kind of “olfactory language” of their own, and once that language becomes coherent, certain paths start appearing almost naturally.
Today I feel that Ganymede became exactly that for me: not just another perfume, but a contemplative sensory experience.
It’s much more about me enjoying and exploring it throughout the day than simply trying to impress other people.

I bought 5 mini perfumes just to try them. It was a very pleasant surprise to love all of them as I am usually quite picky.
My favorite was B683, very sophisticated scent and long lasting on the skin. My friends asked me what I was wearing and I was happy to recommend you.
