A place to return to...
We have visited Malta and Gozo five times. Because we like exploring new places and experiencing new things, we change locations every two or three days, always choosing highly rated stays. But since discovering Maria Rosa Suites, staying with Donald and Sandra has become an essential part of our trips to Gozo. We have already been here four times, and there will be more. This is a place you just want to return to. For its location. For its comfort. For its vibe. But above all for the most exceptional hosts we met so far...

Maria Rosa Suites, Victoria Gozo
A little gem in the capital
We are just back from a delightful 3 days in Gozo. It was the first time we stayed in Victoria, the capital, and our choice could not have been better.
Maria Rosa Suites is a small, elegant and tranquil hotel where the owners have spared no effort to make it a truly comfortable and restful experience for their guests. We appreciated all the details that they had seen to, including the perfect lighting in the rooms.
We admired their underlying commitment to sustainability, and loved the breakfast with local produce.
They were present but never intrusive and afforded us all the privacy and quiet one looks for when getting away for a few days from the daily bustle of routine.
We hope to return soon.

Das Hotel liegt sehr Zentral und ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Personal ist super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Tastefully restored and decorated property in the heart of Victoria, Gozo. Well sized and clean room. Excellent service with great communication and clear instructions. Very good breakfast which we had in the serene courtyard.

Lovely experience
Location is excellent, the building, the room - all restored beautifully, lovely balcony over the street for quiet evenings with a glass of wine. Amazing breakfast!! Anyone staying in Gozo should choose Maria Rosa Suites without a doubt.

Céntrico y muy bien situado
Céntrico y muy bien situado. Muy bien decorado y el desayuno bastante bien. Te pueden hacer huevos al gusto. El café tambien muy bueno. El dueño está allá cada mañana y te ayuda en lo que necesites. El único inconveniente fué la cortina del cuarto de baño. Pedimos una triple y nos dieron una habitación adaptada para sillas de ruedas y en la ducha habia una cortina que no estaba limpia, el final tenia moho. Es lo único que no estuvo bien, el resto genial

A perfect Gem
Beautiful Maria Rosa Suites is a serene island in the hustle and bustle right in the center of this delightful island city. The room was meticulously clean and thoughtfully laid out to make the most of the space. Every need seemed to have been anticipated. The fabulous breakfast served in the spacious breakfast area catered to all tastes and gave each day a pampered and delicious start. Donald and Sandra have created a true gem!

Absolutely beautifully restored…
Absolutely beautifully restored building . Room was fabulous and loved sitting on our balcony over the street with a glass of wine . Breakfast had all you could want including made to order eggs. Staff lovely both at the desk and in the breakfast room. Very centrally located - walked to so many restaurants and lots of market stalls and little stores near. Loved it and highly recommend.

Extremely bad customer service
Extremely bad customer service! We mentioned (not complained) that our room hadn't been cleaned, something that didn't bother us very much. The manager however immediately started questioning the truthfulness of this, claiming that it wasn't possible. It's a quite charming place, simple and very overpriced (but what isn't) but the customer experience is horrific!! They just want your money.
Prey you never have to complain about anything if you stay here...
Update since management (of course) is doubting my review:
This review was no mistake. I had one of the worst experiences at Maria rosa Suites and I told the story to everyone I know in Gozo and Malta as well as online. You should be ashamed!

Wij hebben genoten van het verblijf. Zeer aardige en behulpzame eigenaren en personeel. De accommodatie heeft een goede ligging in Victoria en is zeer mooi en schoon.
Een echte aanrader als verblijf op Gozo.

Wonderful stay
Wonderful stay! The decor is perfection and the location can't be beat. A ten minute walk from the bus station and even less to the citadel. Close to shops and restaurants but also quiet for a good night's sleep. Breakfast is amazing with lots of options and they kindly accommodate my celiac needs. I didn't want to leave! Sandra and Donald are lovely hosts. Thank you for making my 3 night stay in Gozo so wonderful.

Lovely one-night stay
We had a lovely one-night stay. Location was a really good plus. We found everything clean and comfortable in our room. Breakfast was also really good and there was quite a variety! Would definitely recommend!

We traveled as a family of 3 to Maria…
We traveled as a family of 3 to Maria Rosa
The host welcomed us warmly and was very helpful. After the first night we asked if he could look at the sofa bed as it wasn't comfortable. Same day he bought an extra topper and the bed was very comfortable (what a great customer experience). The breakfast was good, fresh and healthy.
The location is very centralised in Victoria
All and all we had a wonderful stay and would come back in the future!
