I signed up for the advertised 7-day free trial, mainly to try the grammar correction, referencing, and AI humanizing features. Unfortunately, the features did not work properly for me at all, and the results were not useful. In my experience, the app was simply a waste of money.

More concerningly, I was charged before my 7-day free trial had ended. When I contacted customer support and requested a refund, they repeatedly referred to their policy regarding “renewed or active subscriptions” instead of addressing my actual complaint about being charged during the advertised trial period.

This billing experience made me feel misled and extremely dissatisfied with the service. I have kept the transaction records and correspondence and have disputed the charge with my card provider.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to be very careful before paying for Mask AI. I personally would not recommend this at all.

The company it’s a scam, I made a free trial on the website and was charged 40 euros on the same day. They do not answer the email i sent and do not accept refunds even tho i should have never beed charged. Besides that, the service was not good so I ended up not even using it. Do not give them your card details

I signed up for what was advertised as a 7-day free trial and entered my card details, believing I would only be charged after the trial ended. Later, while trying to use the service, I clicked an "Upgrade" button that did not clearly state it would immediately charge my card. Instead of simply activating premium access, I was charged instantly for a full month. I canceled my subscription as soon as I realized what had happened and requested a refund, but my request was not answered. I believe the billing process was misleading because the immediate charge was not clearly disclosed, and I would not have proceeded if I had known.

I want to share my experience so that others can make an informed decision before signing up.

The platform advertised a 1-week free trial and required me to enter my card details to activate it. I understood this to mean that I would only be charged after the free trial period ended.

Later, while trying to edit my document, I noticed that my account still had not been upgraded. A message appeared saying only "Upgrade your account." There was no clear warning, visible price information, or indication that clicking this button would immediately charge my card.

Based on the wording shown, I believed I was simply activating or upgrading my free trial access. Instead, my card was charged instantly.

As soon as I realized what had happened, I cancelled the subscription immediately. Despite cancelling right away and barely using the service, my refund request was denied.

In my opinion, the billing process was not transparent enough. If it had been clearly stated that clicking the button would result in an immediate charge, I would never have proceeded.

For this reason, I strongly advise anyone considering this service to carefully review all subscription terms, billing conditions, and payment screens before entering their card details. My experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend this platform based on the way the subscription and billing process was presented.

I would give a -1 review if I could. I signed up for a 7-day free trial and cancelled my subscription on the third day after realizing the service did not meet my needs. Despite cancelling within the trial period, the merchant still charged my card for the annual subscription.

This feels extremely misleading and unacceptable. I followed the cancellation process in good faith, yet I was still charged for a full year. I strongly advise others to be very cautious before signing up, as my experience has left me feeling unfairly charged and taken advantage of.

Took my money when I cancelled before free trial ended. Don't answer my e-mails about it.

Read the terms and conditions for the first time after accidentally making a purchase on a free trial that was meant to be free, but they don't accept refunds, even for accidents or before your trial ends. 😂😂😂😂 Absolute joke. Waste of money and time. Never again.

I wish I could give a zero review if I could. They keep charging my card and when I try to go on the website to unsubscribe. This thing pop up saying we’ve tried number of times to charge your VISA and it hasn’t worked.. But it won’t let me even attempt to tap on my email to get to billing to try to cancel and that pops up.. Definitely shouldn’t waste your money or even sign up.

Very Bad , I canceled before the free trial finished and they charged automatically 50$.I requested the refund and they don't accept . I will take precautions.

appalling doesn’t fit and actually hurts. I’ve tried contacting via website, email and shop but nothing!! please don’t waste your time £100!!

Customer service ignoring my request for refund despite being valid, awful ai software, there’s better quality out there for half the price such as grammarly

Company charged me after I cancelled my subscription. Very hard to cancel and even when you do it doesn’t matter because they will take your money any way. Customer service is very very slow to respond and their response basically told me to deal with it. Go to other companies like just done ai or anything where the company respects the customer and doesn’t scam people after cancelling subscriptions
