Hi Oliver, thank you for taking the time to leave this review. Ascorbic acid is the chemical name for Vitamin C and Silicon dioxide is also known as 'silica' and is a micronutrient commonly found in nature. We believe in full transparency and everything that is in our formulas is in there for a reason. The ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) for example, is a powerful anti-oxidant that scavenges excess oxygen, and Bifidobacteria are strict anaerobes so exposure to oxygen before they reach the anerobic environment of the colon can be extremely detrimental to them before they ever get to the part of the human body where they colonize and proliferate. The Sodium alginate that is in the formula is derived from brown kelp and we have a patented process that uses it to protect the probiotics through the harsh stomach acid.

I appreciate your attention to the details and concern for clean labels, a concern we share. We have been producing Theralac since 2003 and are proactively registered with the FDA while over 95% of supplement companies are not registered at all. In that time, we have never had a reported adverse reaction, however, some people are taken aback by how fast it can restore digestive regularity and comfort.

All of our products are produced in clean cGMP certified facilities and we provide third-party Certificate's of Analysis on every batch of produce.

My late father Randy Porubcan was a micro-biologist and bio-chemist who was instrumental in developing patented probiotic technology in the 1970's and he is the original formulator of Theralac. Some of the chemical sounding ingredients in Theralac can be alarming at first but I assure you they are safe ingredients, used in small amounts for specific purposes. There are no fillers, artificial colors or additives in any of our products. Theralac is 100% vegan, Non-GMO, and free of all major food allergens, our Doctor version is submitted for rigorous Informed Sport testing, which tests for over 200 banned and harmful substances.

Always excellent, efficient service for great products. I use many of them personally and a number of my patients have happily become regular users, especially the digestive products.
