Had a subscription for 4 years.. never used. Missed auto renewal and thought - OK I'll use it this time. Nope. Went ahead and cancelled mid year so it wouldn't renew and they offered me 1/2 off to keep. I did it.. again - thinking i would use. Nope. Auto renewed again and i said enough. Canceled. They refused. I didn't catch until my CC statement.. then it's too late. Had to go thru a bunch of people - they finally refunded. These subscriptions on auto renew should be illegal. There is no notification and by the time it's on your CC...it's too late. Cannot verify content. 3 stars because I did get a refund.

I got the subscription in 2025

I got the subscription in 2025, payed for an annual. Content was good. Renewal cancelation is impossible. I had thought I had cancelled after 6 months of using but got an autorenewal notice from paypal that I had been charged. emailed masterclas to reverse charges within 15 minutes of the charge hitting payal. No refund no repsponse tried to challenge through paypal again nothing. if you are looking for content find a site that doesn't have this autorenew policy. Absolute sham on any conflict resolution.

c'est passionnant, on peut y apprendre sur tout les sujets celon nos centres d'intérêts, en ce moment j'écoute un podcast sur l'IA , the new rules of wealth, j'aime vraiment beaucoup, on s'instruit de maniÚre vraiment agréable 🥰🔥 je renouvellerais mon abonnement d'un an sans hésiter , j'ai même envie de rajouter une option pour pouvoir les garder aprÚs 🥳🎉ce n'est que mon avis personnel en tout cas moi qui ai toujours soif d'apprendre de sources fiables je suis ravie, je viens de voir les autres commentaires, je trouvais que mon abonnement durait longtemps il a donc peut être ???? Été renouvelé sans mon accord, oups, aprÚs même si je déteste ce principe hélas c'est une trÚs mauvaise pratique qui est courante😔 je vais essayer de creuser la question, bonne journée Jj

However, once I got in, the premium content was paywalled at prices significantly higher than the subscription itself. Steer clear of this site and their products—it’s a total bait-and-switch. I don’t recommend it at all.

Awful aftercare

My account was renewed despite cancelling. I have tried for two weeks to both get my money back or regain access. Continual chat bot responses no matter which service, email or social account I contact. In fairness some decent content within the app however the back end processes offer no help, unacceptable poorly thought through service.

Kurs wurde einfach entfernt

Die Masterclass Serie von Peter Attia war der Grund fÃŒr mich, ein Jahresabo bei Masterclass abzuschließen. Nach weniger als 4 Monaten war der Kurs einfach nicht mehr verfÃŒgbar. Über die Entfernung aus dem Portfolio gab es leider nicht einmal eine AnkÃŒndigung per Mail oÄ.

Free Trial Not Free

Master Class is impossible to cancel. I tried to do it online, and there is no way and they charge your credit card immediately. On top of this, everything is AI. No live person, so I had to file a dispute with Pay Pal! Do not sign up. The free trial is just a way to get you hooked.

Difficulty to cancel!

I had a yearly license, some classes were quite nice (especially if it's a topic that's brand new to you), but others were very basic and repetitive stuff. I was no longer interested in holding a license and that's where the frustration really started. You can't cancel through the app... fine. But when I try to cancel through the platform the button conveniently won't work. Some offers start popping out, but looks like Accept the offer seemed to be the only active option. I contacted the support team and looks like initially I got an AI response but in full transparency, a working day after that I got a human response with real reasoning behind my issue and my cancellation was processed. Still more painful than it should be but kudos to Joevane and the support team.

It is pure pain

It is a pain trying to get help from support. Every time there is someone else responding without actually helping. And this is only for buying a subscrtiption. Now imagine trying to get technical support of some sort or even get a proper invoice. I'm so fed up with this.

Very much like a scam

Very much like a scam. My subscription has been renewed multiple times without notice. They disabled my cancellation button and makes cancellation a huge hassle. I am still waiting for their specialist to contact me.

Design, cook, garden, broaden your mind, learn a skilll.....

If you wanted to learn these skills from these people IRL the class fees would be outrageous. I find this app to be excellent, constantly adding new and interesting classes. You have to be self-motivated and engaged enough to learn and participate to get the value from them.

Duplicate charge. Fraudulent denial of same.

I paid for Masterclass on 12/19/25 at $90. The charge went through and then they charged me a second time on 12/26/25 for $99.54. They are declining to reimburse me for the authorized charge of $99.54 citing that it's been over 30 days and services were rendered. No, that's a duplicate charge and fraud, not additional services. Both charges went to the same card. They are denying there is a second charge. I'm looking at two charges with two different transactions. Since they denied they did it, I'm disputing the transaction and contacting BBB to file a complaint against Masterclass and leaving a negative Yelp response. One of these will get out over the internet on their fraudulent practices.

Subscribed to the basic package Masterclass

Subscribed to the basic package, i have to say rather disappointing , level of in depth knowledge and options on content are superficial. The more useful and classes with certifications all cost quite bit extra , adding up quickly . You may invest in specific courses on other platforms like coursera etc which give more specific knowledge with better recognition. I cancelled my subscription after 3 days of browsing nothing that triggered deeper interest.

Incorrect Invoices

They could not provide any correct invoice, only a random email in it, and that's it.
The platform itself is really nice, but customer support and invoicing is ridiculous, even I passed through the "buy for business" flow. Nothing changed after it and I still had the same useless invoice.

If you are a business and care about the documents, pass by this platform since they will never do it for you.

UPD: for Masterclass response - I had already contacted your support and this is basically what you answered me “we could not change the invoice” and that’s why you are issuing the invoice for a random emails which enough from your point of view 🥲

Insidious. If I could give zero start I would. Gave a gift subscription to someone 7 years ago. Just noticed that I have been getting charged $180 annually since then even though the card I used expired in 2021. Finally got in touch with a rep on their chat feature and got the most recent charge reversed. STAY AWAY. Also- you prominent thinkers that are on this platform, take heed that their practices are predatory and this reflects very poorly on you.

disappointing and it feels like fraud

for the price the service is ridiculous. I paid for 3 years, used it twice, and they wont sent you a reminder of the automatic renewal, and then just book nearly 200 bucks,.. in my opinion its fraud. Would not recommend..
