Cancelled subscription on 9 feb. Automtiaclly renewed today (8 mar 2026). Have only been able to login sporadically.. No way of contact this useles company. Faced with court action to get money back

Do not use the app doesn't work. Customer services won't talk to you. I'm now trapped paying a monthly fee for something that doesn't work. I can't see any messages that have been sent. I can't see notifications I've been sent. They do not reply when you email them. The only time you get communication is if you leave a one-star review on Google play and they reply to that

Really bad experience! Fake accounts and website crashing all the time with difficulties for days!

As soon as I created profile I realised its no use unless you subscribe monthly membership. I in my mind thought whatever I will delete it but then was not able to delete my profile neither my profile picture! I wanted to remove my picture but could only replace with new one and delete previous one.I give one ☆because its my right to delete my account and on match only available option profile suspension!!!

A shockingly bad company. Your legally allowed 14 days cooling off but contacting them is impossible. The site is FULL of FAKE profiles and scammers. The criteria you submit is ignored and they even send profiles from across the English channel. Plus the barrage of junk email never stops....

APPALLING, DISHONEST AND NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY.

Money-wrenching site! They are expensive with payment for options which should come with the expensive initial fee. They include men out of the county when a request was made for men within in 30 miles of N. Virginia. They charge for for resubcription w/o notice. Now I can't even get into my account to end the unwanted subscription. They have a series of goofy puzzles one must do but STILL can't get into the site to suspend an unwanted $193.00 membership!

I think this dating site is very misleading. So many matches and profiles outside of the country - seems to be no way of controlling this. So many fake profiles - they sound so perfect! Regardless of how many times I reported the same fake profile (in just 1 of the instances) appearing multiple times with same photo, different locations, different ages but same profile- nothing has been done. I keep blocking this person but I keep getting contact. Seemingly it's not a serious offence.
For a fee paying site, it's a disaster in my opinion!

Lets start by saying if I could give them a minus 5 I would, shocking customer service you cant contact anyone about a query, the quality of people on Match is shocking its like men stalking your profile looking at it several times but never actually messaging you.
Any chats I had never came to anything as alot are just looking for hook ups or someone to pass time with by messaging. I am glad I am gone off it.

I had a very disappointing experience with Match.ie. Getting a refund is an absolute nightmare; they make the process so difficult that it feels like they're just trying to wear you out until you give up. On top of that, the app seems like a complete scam. There are hardly any active users in Dublin, and the profiles feel outdated or fake. It’s far from being a real dating app—save your money and time!

They will not let me end my subscription. I signed up for 6 months and now they have renewed it despite my not wanting it. Basically impossible to get in contact with them. Do not sign up to this dating site. Others are far better!

The site has changed and takes money but does not load anymore, no help whatsoever. Hardly anyone replied when site did work. Online help useless. It no longer gives area searches? Don't bother.

Could be so much better
I was on this pre Covid and met some nice people but alas it didn’t quite work out. I rejoined after a period and found it very frustrating. You pay a chunky enough fee and then encouraged to pay an extra fee for "Connect" which allows non paying free accounts to contact you. This sort of defies the logic of a fee paying membership MATCH and needs to be addressed.
There were a lot of accounts that were still on and unchanged in the 2 years since I left - exactly the same pictures which led me to wonder about it - so I posted a Fake profile before I rejoined for real. There was no verification required (the picture was not me by the way) and I forgot about it. After 6 months this profile was not deleted and it therefore gives the impression there are more active members than there are. Before I deleted the profile I would add something like “I have not paid a subscription and cannot see messages”. EVERY SINGLE TIME this type of message was deleted but they were more than happy to keep the unverified profile on their site.
Anyway back to when I rejoined for real. I sent out a reasonable amount of messages. I didn’t go mad (people of my own age group, no supermodels and was looking for people in a similar situation to myself). I got such a small response (and by the way I didn't include any of the profiles from way back that were still there...). My profile is fine. I had friends check it out. But I had so little response that I cancelled my subscription and moved to a rival one for which I paid less, used the same profile and had a load of responses…
In summary it's an ok site but not a great site. It is a premium price that isn’t providing a premium service. Far too profiles that aren't active, aren't paid up and those profiles cannot see messages or write messages. And these accounts make it seem that there are more (active) members than there actually are.

Site is good and easy. If anyone replied it would be helpful. You should be able to report those who don't reply. It is a waste of money, perhaps it is because its Ireland. Update Site is now awful don't bother unless you are in major city. By chance I met someone November 2024 and we clicked straight away, still an item but it took 5 years.
