My son did his GCSEs this year, he had been estimated a grade 7 in all his mock exams, no matter how much work he put in he was always a few % off a grade 8. I contacted Rob quite late but he still took him on; Rob had an initial chat to us and George and then a thorough test to review George’s knowledge and where he could be ineffective. He started very quickly. Attended zoom lessons on time. George was engaged throughout, came out of the lessons telling us he had really enjoyed them and attacked the videos on the Mathmo site with gusto.
The end result was a solid Grade 8, George was thrilled AND he tells us that Robs help has made the start of his maths A’levels course so much easier, he’s getting solid A grades in initial testing.
I cannot recommend Rob enough and am actually trying to persuade him to do an a’level course too!

Rob made maths fun for the first time in years. Nicola went up three grades for GCSE and wished she had met him sooner. Totally appreciated the time Rob took to listen to how Nicola would have approached a problem to see why it wasn't working to get to the right answer. During sessions there was so much laughter and happy voice tones that I think Rob is a "maths angel". Happy child, happy life. Definitely give his Mathmo a go.

Rob is a brilliant and also incredibly patient maths tutor. Without Rob and Mathmo, I have absolutely no doubt that my daughter would not have been able to pass her Maths GCSE. He is now working his magic on daughter No.2!

He engaged with my son and daughter. They looked forward to him coming to help. We all loved seeing him and were so grateful for his help.

Rob is the most phenomenal tutor - he worked wonders with both of my children's understanding of maths and they both managed to secure a top grade at GCSE. Learning with him was never a chore; they looked forward to their sessions as he has an incredible way of explaining things in an engaging and interesting way, giving them not only methods that they could remember, but the confidence and knowledge they needed to succeed with their maths exams.

I've purchased the GCSE course from Mathmo about a month ago, and my daughter is very happy with the fact it takes the student interest first. She is in particular happy with the things Rob teaches you to do with the calculator. It really saves the precious exam time.

Convinced that “I can’t do maths”, Rob’s tutoring was a revelation to Harry and made all the difference to his confidence, belief in his ability and (to his surprise) enjoyment of Maths, leading not only to unexpected success at GCSE, improving by 2 grades in under 3 months, but believing he could have done even better. From simple calculator hacks & predicted papers, to how to find marks, to just approaching the questions differently & meeting Harry at his level, I could not
recommend Mathmo more.

Rob's on-line lessons were invaluable for my son. Rob promised two grades higher but in fact he achieved a three grades higher in his IGCSE that he took early. Whilst my son is capable this was no mean feat as he is also dyslexic. Rob breaks down his subjects into bite size courses that are clear and enjoyable. My son really looked forward to ticking off the each video that he completed. We are super grateful that he had Rob's video's to cement in all of the IGCSE Maths topics.

Rob tutored my step son Thomas for GCSE Maths and then A level Maths. I can't thank Rob enough for his guidance and care during those years and Thomas is now studying computer science at University. You get what you pay for and Rob was worth every penny.
He is also the coolest guy so Thomas really liked him too.

Rob and Mathmo are brilliant. Rob has a brilliant way with teenagers. Relaxed, fun and finds a way for them to find their maths genius and enjoy it too.
My son loved his lessons with Rob and he is currently prepping for his GCSE higher paper backed up by all the hints, hacks and tips that Mathmo videos have provided.
