This company couldn't find their way out of a paper bag. Their sole purpose is to keep you from using FMLA, and insure, should you have issues in the future, you have no real proof of approval. There's absolutely no customer service, they can't answer any questions and refuse to explain any confusion.

Fill out the paperwork, provide documentation and they say they hadn't received it. Ask a question and they refer you to the non-existant "welcome packet". Turn everything in and get denied because they claim paperwork wasn't received, though my manager and HR received everything.

Every week I get a letter which contradicts the last one. I'm approved, then I'm not approved, then I'm approved again, but told my FMLA expired weeks ago. HR calls them and HR is told everything's in order and I'm approved. Then I receive another letter warning me I've been denied and no time off will be approved and it all starts over. Rinse and repeat.

This company is used by employers to provide LTD benefits to employees through their Benefits Program. They in turn use ALLSUP as a 3rd party provider to secure SSDI benefits when you file for those benefits through the SSA. What you don't know is that they will use a standard you must meet to be paid benefits after the initial first 2 years of benefits. The standard will define what job you are able to do so they can deny your claim extension. They will force you to file for SSDI benefits so that they can be reimburses through the award you win from SSA. When problems within a case arise, these companies will finger point, misdirect you give you incomplete and wrong information and directives, and deny accountability when you are often waiting months to get paid with no income while they take no accountability. Make sure to keep accurate records and copies of every communication exchange to document the course of actions taken. They will ask you to provide the same documentation repeatedly.
