Speed and skill of service were excellent.

Bryan, one of the head technicians in Byram / Stanhope New Jersey, is so kind, polite and very professional. I've been going to Mavis in Byram NJ for many years and my experience with them has always been great. Technicians and mechanics have always seemed to be honest and fair, always willing to please and give you the best deals and discounts. What I like about this Mavis is always so great to see the same mechanics there's to get to know you as well as your vehicle.

Very attentive service

The mechanic came out of the garage and listened to the issues I was having with my vehicle. He called me to tell me what was causing the problem. Repaired the issue and called me when my truck was repaired. Ely is a very good mechanic. He always takes the time to listen and doesn’t jump to make a quick repair that may not fix the problem.

Closing time was closing in . After work I stopped in Byram for a tire / wheel issue. They could have turned me away, but they didn’t.
The associates were pleasantly helpful and accommodating regardless of the time .
Thank you for the program on TV and the breakfast bars to curb my appetite while waiting. Thanking the technicians who worked in a timely manner.

I live in Newton, N.J.and there is a Mavis Discount Tire 8 minutes from my house, but I have been driving the extra 30 minutes to the Stanhope location for years for the impeccable Customer Service. Bryan, Mike and Eli work like a well oiled machine. Their professionalism, attention to detail and knowledge is bar none the best I’ve seen anywhere. That’s why I keep coming back. Watching these guys work as a team, is like poetry in motion. They’re all very attentive, but not pushy, always quick to keep me informed and the epitome of class. I feel like family at this branch and these guys surely can write a book on what Customer Service should be, because a lot of businesses have forgotten the importance of the customer and these guys get it. On a year old Jeep with only 18k miles. Decided to buy 4 new tires from here because of appointment ease. I ordered the tires through their website at 192.99/tire and I also booked a balance and alignment. Apt took forever and they ended up charging me 204.99/tire without being told so. Car drove horribly after so I went back a couple days later, they worked on it again, again with no one telling me what they did, and when I got it back they had broken my drivers side window switch so I could no longer roll down my windows. Car still drove horribly/shaking/felt no control, after that I decided to take it to a dealer, where they confirmed no balance or alignment was ever done and I had to pay again. I was going to travel with car so I just did it, car drove perfectly after that and they replaced window master switch. Will never return to Mavis after this complete headache.
