Awful first purchase
Purchased 2 hard to find bottles of cologne that were in stock, then 2 days later my order was suddenly cancelled with no explanation. After contacting support, I was told "the last bottle broke." So apparently they decided to cancel the order for both bottles without telling me, and now the product is out of stock (seems like they sold the other bottle from my order?). I tried to see if I could put in a backorder, or if I could buy the other unbroken bottle, but customer support basically doesn't directly respond to the questions and just says "we hope we do better next time"
NEVER GOT MY ITEM
I had a terrible experience with this company. My order was never delivered and is clearly lostâthe tracking number stopped updatingâyet all I received in response were generic, automated messages with no real help or accountability.
Instead of resolving the issue, they keep deflecting and asking me to wait (another) 48h that doesnât make sense given the situation. As a customer, itâs extremely frustrating to have to chase a company just to get a basic resolution.
At this point, Iâve had to request a full refund because the product never arrived. The lack of proper customer service and ownership is completely unacceptable.
Would not recommendâsave yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere.
12 days to ship a package
Was just informed that normal shipping is 12 days....my package has been going back and forth from Maspeth to Jersey. Definately a red flag. UPS says that its lost and its not in transit. I paid extra for the insurance too. So much for a valentines day present. Maxaroma wont do anything for 12 days....done shopping with them.

This was my first time ordering from Maxaroma--and it will be my last.
Ten days ago I ordered Hermes Caleche. The order arrived yesterday and was Hermes KELLY Caleche. It is worth noting that at least one other customer review had the exact same issue. Do they not realize that they are two different perfumes??
I immediately notified them--and was told to fill out a request and scan a picture of item. I did. I then got the labels that I will now have to print off and then repack item and go to my local postal office to mail back. Only then will I get my refund--minus the $1.55 insurance! Yeah, they won't refund that even though it is their mistake. Also, they apparently only allow one FREE return a month. That won't be a problem for me as I have no intention of ordering from them again. (If I don't get my refund in a timely manner, I will come back and update my rating to 1 star.)
The worst purchase experience I have in my life
I rarely leave reviews, especially negative reviews, you guys can check my profile, but I just had a really awful experience with the purchase on MaxAroma that I want to share here. I doubt the authenticity of the products on this website, and I had a really bad experience with the so-called customer care team.
The item I purchased arrived with a defect. The agent said I can either replace it or get a $5 refund. I chose a replacement. Then I said more than once across the return process that I prefer a replacement, but they ignored my repeated requests and made decisions for me without any notifications or permissions. They told me there are multiple bottles with the same defects due to the manufacturer, and they are afraid that I may get another defective bottle, so they just refunded me. But why are the so-called defective bottles still on sale?
Also, I first met a customer service agent who hung up on me. It was from MaxAroma. Thank you so much for all the nightmares.

Just like I would never order a designer perfume on Amazon, known for fake products, I will never order from maxaroma. I am scared of ordering expensive heavily discounted items that are fake. "Too good be true" is real.

These people don't have the heart to listen to the customers with what happy with the reason of return rather so rudely collect stacking fees even when I received damaged items. It is unacceptable

unbelievably bad
to be honest, if I wouldnât have to because they deliver to US/Boston, I would never order again. The order process is extremely annoying.. paying thousands of dollars for an order and after a few minutes itâs deleting the cart. before I could order. Every time I tried to order as a guest it asks for a password and creates an account but then says itâs the wrong password. Tried to send a new password via mail - never got one. Tried to order in SAFARI (Mac) - error every time. I tried approximately 6 times before I could finally order. Itâs a mystery to me how such a bad ordering process is working for you as a company. Plus allthe stress I have now to send you all these information.. I deeply hope that I never need to order with you again.
They wanted to me to send a copy of my credit card via mail (!) for security check? Are you serious?
No disappointments
Prices Beat others, and shipping is fast. I can place an order at 9pm, ships next day then get it in another day. Not to mention how they break down the frangrance. Highly recommend.

WARNING!!! I purchased 6.8oz Dior Sauvage edp cost 160 dollars. I recieved a fake. I sent the fake back and they acknowledged it was a fake but refuse to give me a refund blaming me that itâs fake. This has been the worstâs experience Iâve ever dealt with in customer service. Dispite the numerous reviews that the same bottle is fake. No apolopgy for sending fake. No concern for the customer. I would advise using any other website. If you receive a fake item they claim they donât sell fakes and put the blame on you. Research them and see Iâm not the only person with this issue. They take absolutely no responsibility for the fake items they sale. Not only that, they want me to send them a return label to send me the fake bottle they sold me to start with. There are several reviews that the same bottle people recieved was fake yet they blame the customer. Scammers spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

absolute scam. They are selling fake Creed fragrances purchased through an unauthorized third party seller. I have spoken directly with Creed customer service and they confirmed that the bottle I purchased ($250 RPO) is fake. Rather than giving these scammers info on what went wrong with their packaging- please call the perfumer directly if you have questions about the authenticity of your bottle. They have reported they are aware Max Aroma is doing this and from the ridiculous customer service experience I had today; they intend to continue this scam. A reputable company would verify the merchandise beforehand, not to mention not have the gall to continue selling the fake items even after confirmation. I will never purchase from Max Aroma again and discourage you from doing so as well. They do not stand behind their products and have poor customer service to add insult to the experience.
