My son has been going to McGowan mauy thai for 3 years now since he was 13 , this has help him in so many ways not just the fighting aspect. He's team mates have helped him with developing into a decent young man , this club has been the routine he has needed to keep him on a good path while becoming a big part of the mauy thai family.

10/10 great classes, Dan is very friendly and very happy to help.
My son Vinnie has come a long way since he has started with his grading and first inter club , Dan is a great teacher and has so much time for the Kids, couldn’t recommend a better gym

We started taking our 6 year old son here about a year ago as he had really low self confidence and in this time, training muaythai with Dan and the team has really brought out his confidence, self-esteem and he is a much happier child

MMT gave me a structure to my workout routine and has a family feel for both men and women! Highly recommend if you want a different kind of way to stay fit!

A great inclusive environment for all ages, sex and/or culture... The classes are great fun alongside learning a martial art and the team are very knowledgeable in all aspects of Muay Thai!

Since bringing my son to McGowan Muay Thai his confidence has sky rocketed, he used to be badly behaved but now his so focused and well behaved at school and home, I’m so grateful to the classes have helped him so much.

MMT is so welcoming to all. Whether you just want to get fit, learn self discipline/defence or to take up the sport and progress into a professional fighting career, this is the place. Everyone is made to feel welcome with a real family feel. The atmosphere is great and you are guaranteed to have a smile on your face, walking in and out of the gym. It has helped many people with their mental health including my own and I would recommend everyone I know to come to this gym at least once, because I am certain they will come back.

McGowan muay thai is by far the best gym I have trained. The classes are always exciting and follow a great structure. Dan is incredibly enthusiastic when teaching the classes and a Muay Thai legend in his own right. In the year since joining up with McGowan I have fought in the O2, gained lots of fight experience, watched my sparring partner win a championship belt and become part of the team. I've not just improved physically but also mentally. Training has helped me through a dark patch of my life and don't know where I would be without that structure and support from the guys in the class. The atmosphere is competitive but every member is friendly and always willing to help, not just with technique but your general wellbeing as well.

If you're looking for a place to learn how to fight, potentially challenge for a title but also learn discipline and have a good support network around you. There isn't a place I would put above McGowan Muay Thai.

The Experience in the gym is unmatched in the UK I feel really lucky to be trained by some of the best that have ever competed in muaythai in the UK.

I would recommend anyone to come and train at McGowan muaythai weather that’s for fitness fighting or even to improve your mental health McGowan muaythai is the place to be!
